Chapter 1039: Pinnacle Meeting of the Blue Star
“Some people are having wild ambitions and trying to create havoc!” Long Kong grinned coldly, then he explained, “You have come back for two months now. Afraid of being revenged by the SSS-tiers, our ability users have restrained themselves from going to the headquarter recently. Some still had their concerns and went to get intel from different sources. They found out that Shao Dongfeng had a lot of his resources reclaimed by Ahn Ping Prime, so they deduced that the former must have something to do with your disappearance.”
“No wall is impermeable. You were the champion of the Peace Contest. Some began to link your disappearance to Shao Dongfeng due to the feud between you two being exposed during the contest. They believe that Shao Dongfeng must have requested that Ahn Ping Prime exterminate you, and now the Prime is setting himself apart from Shao.”
“We are the only ones who know that you have survived the crusade. Some of the Dark Coalition members know as well. They are envious that you have hoarded all the loot and want a piece of it. They threatened to break the news to Ahn Ping Prime if you refuse.”
It was out of Qin Feng’s expectation that things would become this complicated.
Men’s greed knew no bounds!
These Dark Coalition members were courting death!
“I understand now. If they have a death wish, I will fulfill them!” Qin Feng said coldly. His urge to kill was boiling over.
Long Kong was stunned. He sympathized with those who had provoked Qin Feng. Dark Coalition members were not the only ones meddling in this chaos.
“As for now, they proposed to have a pinnacle meeting. Since you are from Huaxia, they agreed to have this meeting at Dragon Capital. All SS-tiers from the Blue Star Realm have been invited. So far, 15 of them have agreed to attend.”

“15?” Qin Feng frowned. The situation was worse than he had imagined.
The entire Human Alliance had a total of nineteen SS-tiers.
When the Runic Galaxy Rune was opened up, Qin Feng had killed one. The vacancy was quickly replaced by a new SS-tier.
This equaled twelve SS-tiers from the Human Alliance, and seven from the Dark Coalition.
Even if all members from the Dark Coalition would attend, who were those extra eight? So, the Human Alliance members were also going to back the Dark Coalition’s unreasonable demand now? If they were on Qin Feng’s side, Long Kong would not have needed to ask for his attendance.
Qin Feng finally understood the meaning of “wild ambition”.
These Human Alliance members might not have the intention to betray him, but they, too, wanted a piece of the cake. They resented the fact that Qin Feng had created a mess and gained all the benefits, while they had to bear the consequences with no compensation. This opportunity should not only fall to the Dark Coalition’s hands.
“Alright. Inform everyone. I will be there in three days.”
This might not be the first time Qin Feng was disappointed with his so-called “allies”, but this was definitely the most exasperating one.
***
Three days later in Dragon Capital.
The importance of Dragon Capital went without saying. Being the center of the Huaxia Alliance, this place was always the most developed city in the region. They had the best armories and defense, as well as the highest number of high-tier aptitude users.
But the residents in Huaxia had no idea what kind of existence they were having in town today.
The time was very close to twelve noon. At the ninth level of Dragon Capital, all the SS-tiers had gathered inside a spacious meeting room. None wanted to miss this opportunity, especially when their competitors had all agreed to attend.

As a result, all nineteen SS-tiers from the Blue Star Realm were here today.
Creak!
The heavy door was pushed open. A man strolled proudly into the room.
The others sat up straight when they saw him.
“Sorry for the wait,” Qin Feng addressed the users from the Huaxia Alliance. Long Ting guided him to the main seat. There was a subsidiary seat beside it reserved for Bai Li.
The rest of the aptitude users did not sit side by side. The left row was the Human Alliance, while the right was the Dark Coalition. So there were more people on the left than on the right. The members of the Dark Coalition were seemingly restless.
Singhnar was especially nervous. He knew how difficult an opponent Qin Feng was after dealing with him in the Runic Galaxy Realm.
Besides, Qin Feng would only be more powerful now. He had gone through the Peace Contest and was given ample resources after emerging victoriously.
Actually, Singhnar was the only one who voted against this operation. He did not even want to attend the meeting but yielded after being pressured by the other members.
“We can start now!” Qin Feng said.
One of the Dark Coalition members furrowed his brows. The Human Alliance’s side had fourteen members including Bai Li and Qin Feng. They were heavily outnumbered by two to one. Though he knew the members of the Human Alliance were not all on the same page, he still did not have enough confidence to challenge them.
“Wait, we still have one member left.”
“We have waited long enough. Don’t waste our time anymore,” Long Kong sneered.
“There’s still some time before 12!” The user rebutted.
Qin Feng raised his eyebrows and asked, “Who are you waiting for? I thought everyone is here?”
Long Kong explained, “I believe he means Endo. Perhaps you have never met him.”
Qin Feng laughed it off. “Endo? Then we can start right away. He won’t be here.”
The others threw him a peculiar look. They did not understand the certainty in his tone.
Qin Feng looked around and announced, “I killed him!”
“What!”
“How’s that possible?!”
“Qin Feng, do you really want us to leak the news out?”
The Dark Coalition members were petrified and started panicking. Some SS-tiers among the Human Alliances were also gutted. They never expect Qin Feng to be this cold-blooded.
They could not believe he went to kill Endo even before the meeting ensued.
Only Singhnar held a different opinion. He recalled the lightning rune left at the entrance of the Runic Galaxy Realm. A frightening realization came to his mind.
“When did you kill him?”
Qin Feng looked at the familiar face of Singhnar. He considered him as an acquaintance.
He no longer needed to hide it. Qin Feng answered him honestly, “Right at the rift when the Runic Galaxy Realm opened up.”
The provoked members were stunned by his answer. Pin-drop silence befell the meeting room. Palpable breaths were the only sound that existed amid the restless atmosphere.
If Qin Feng was honest, then the murder happened last October. It was more than half a year ago. Everyone knew what Qin Feng had undergone after that.
The scariest part was that Qin Feng could kill an SS-tier then without leaving any trace behind.
In other words, nobody could leave today if Qin Feng wanted them to stay.
They immediately regretted their action.
“It seems that none of you have any questions left. You may speak freely now that I am here. I heard that someone has threatened to report me to Ahn Ping Prime.” He smirked and looked to his right. “Are you the one?”
