Chapter 477: Feeling Sad Because Of Death
If the generals who Lin Fan surrounded knew that people were saying that they had surrendered even before they had understood the situation, they would have probably raged on the spot.
That was just too much.
The Alliance Headquarters found out about Lin Fan’s appearance in You City.
This was something that the Alliance Headquarters didn’t expect.
Most of the nine-star general had missions, so who could they send to You City?
General Juhe was at Dao Realm Stage Five and even he wasn’t his match. Even if they sent more nine-star generals, it was useless unless they could send stage six ones.
But at the moment, there weren’t many Dao Realm Stage Six generals.
“What? Don’t you have things you want to say to me?” Lin Fan looked at them. These nine-star generals were all experts in the Alliance Headquarters.
But now that they were facing an expert they couldn’t resist, they felt a sense of helplessness in their hearts.
“Lin Fan, this is Alliance territory. What do you want?”
A nine-star general thought about it for a long time and his expression slowly calmed down. With their strength, they weren’t able to do much to Lin Fan.
The Alliance Headquarters definitely knew what was going on and would definitely send some experts over. As long as he delayed Lin Fan till then, all of this would be solved perfectly.
Lin Fan smiled, “I don’t want much. No matter what, this was my home. Oh right, I would like to ask something. After you occupied You City, where did you bury the people in the city?”
For some reason, when Lin Fan was asking that, they realized he was smiling, but for some reason, a dark aura covered all of them.
“This…”
The generals didn’t reply. They sensed that something was not right and that there was a deep ball of flames hidden in his heart.
“I am asking all of you, are you not even going to reply to me?” Lin Fan glanced towards a nine-star general, “Why don’t you speak? Where did the Alliance bury everyone?”
The nine-star general who Lin Fan pointed at was flustered.
Fear spread through his body.
No!
He was an Alliance Nine star general. How could he be terrified because of his gaze? Embarrassing, this was just embarrassing!
“We buried them in the dumps outside.”
Peng!
“You…”
The nine-star general who replied to Lin Fan looked at his chest in disbelief. An arm had pierced through him and fresh blood was flowing from the wound. He felt that his body was empty and his heart was grabbed by Lin Fan.

“You are quite unlucky.”
Puchi!
Lin Fan squashed his heart and yet another Alliance general died.
Such cruel actions stunned everyone.
“How can you kill him?”
A nine-star general couldn’t help but say. Lin Fan was too quick, and in just the blink of an eye, a nine-star general had died in front of them. To them, this was a special breed of people for the Alliance.
To nurture a nine-star general not only required a large amount of resources, but one also needed a lot of time too.
In just that moment, dozens of years of hard work had gone to waste.
Lin Fan smiled, “Interesting. After the Alliance occupied You City, you killed all of my people. Now that I am back, of course, I want to take revenge. He is the first but definitely not the last. Are all of you prepared?”
The moment he said this, all the nine-star generals panicked.
“Run, run quickly. Don’t be a needless sacrifice.”
They weren’t fools and knew the gap between them and Lin Fan. That was a gap that couldn’t be crossed.
General Juhe was so strong and even he was no match for him, much less them.
So to them, fleeing was the only choice.
“Darkness God Domain.”
Lin Fan stood on the spot and smiled. He activated the chief god domain, and instantly, a black veil appeared with Lin Fan at the center. It covered the entire city.
“What happened?”
The Alliance members in the city raised their heads and looked. They felt their hearts tighten like they were being suppressed by something.
Just as they were feeling confused.
A cannonball-like image smashed into the ground.
They didn’t know what it was but looking closely, they realized that it was a nine-star general.
The nine-star general was in a tragic state. His skin had been ripped open and blood covered his whole body. The nine-star general said in a weak voice, “Quick… Inform the headquarters.”
It was with much difficulty that he said such words. He tilted his neck and he fell unconcious.
“Did sir faint?” Someone asked.
“No, he is dead.”
The person who said that stared at the nine-star general’s chest. There was a bloody hole and one could see the white bones inside.
It was just too difficult to survive from such injuries.
“Quick, listen to the nine-star general and ask for help from the headquarters.”
….
Lin Fan was prepared to kill. Coming to You City made him think about those who had been sacrificed here.
That battle was fresh in his memory.
Only a few of them survived.

All of the experts had risked their lives going against the Alliance.
One nine-star general’s face was filled with panic and he tried to flee. He didn’t expect Lin Fan to be so crazy to come to You City alone and kill all of them. They were also unable to fight back.
Suddenly, his body shook and he heard a terrifying voice.
“Where do you think you are going?”
The nine-star general turned his head uneasily, “Lin Fan, I am an Alliance nine-star general. Are you asking to die by killing people in You City?”
Although he was a nine-star general with Dao Realm cultivation, when he faced Lin Fan he actually panicked.
Lin Fan reached out and grabbed his head. He used some strength to pull him to the ground. With a loud thud, the ground exploded and a giant hole appeared.
“Lin Fan, I have no animosity with you, why are you doing this…”
Puchi!
The long sword that Lin Fan summoned landed and pierced his head. His attacks were really vicious and he didn’t give him any chance to survive at all.
A dao realm expert died just like that.
It was truly a waste.
“Today, I will kill so many people that the Alliance will cry for their parents.” With Lin Fan’s current cultivation, what he was doing was just bullying… These Dao Realm experts had no way of surviving under his hands.
After dealing with two nine-star generals, he had dealt a huge blow to the Alliance Headquarters but this was just the start.
He wanted to give them a huge gift which was to kill all the nine-star generals in You City.
This was a crazy thought.
But this wasn’t difficult at all. He knew that the Alliance Headquarters would send people over and he had to kill all the fleeing nine-star generals during this period.
In the distance, a nine-star general was fleeing.
“How is that possible? How is that kid so strong, that is just impossible.”
Peng!
He headed into the dimension to try to escape, but it felt like he had smashed into an iron board.
An invisible iron board.
However, there was nothing in front of him.
What was going on?
“Impossible. Even a domain can’t prevent one from traveling in the dimension. What is going on?” The nine-star general grumbled. He had to destroy the obstruction, but no matter how he tried, it still existed.”
“This is a chief god domain. With your cultivation, naturally, you won’t be able to break it.”
Lin Fan appeared behind him like a ghost.
His pupils constricted and his expression was one of panic, “Lin Fan, let’s talk about this. I feel like we have something to talk about.”
How unfortunate.
Instead of a friendly discussion, he was met with an iron fist. This was a huge fist that hit like a sandbag.
Peng!
The fist smashed his face and twisted his features. He opened his mouth and blood spurted out. His body was like a snail that spun towards and smashed into the ground.
“So unbelievably weak. Just someone at Dao Realm Stage Two…”
Lin Fan shook the blood off his hands.
Loud explosions continued to spread out of You City.
The workers in You City were all really uneasy. They could see dust rising in every corner and also buildings being destroyed.
The ripples of battle spread out and covered all of them.
To them, this was already quite friendly.
The difference in combat strength between Lin Fan and these nine-star generals was just too huge, so there weren’t any intense conflicts. The ripples weren’t like waves that spread out consistently, but more short term and occasional.
Pata!
Lin Fan stepped on one nine-star general. To him, this was extremely insulting.
He didn’t beg and just stared at Lin Fan with a furious gaze while blood flowed from his mouth.
“Keke. Native, don’t think that I will beg. Nine-star generals aren’t afraid of dying. There is probably a massacre occuring somewhere right now. The partners you respect and pay attention to are probably being destroyed…”
He laughed maniacally and his expression was one of a person who had gone mad.
Lin Fan frowned, “What do you mean?”
“Scoff, how will I tell you? I just want you to know that things are not as you thought they were. Just cry for their deaths.” The nine-star general raged and was already prepared to die.
He wouldn’t tell him the exact location. He just wanted him to know that such a thing was occuring.
Puchi!
Lin Fan used a little more strength and Dao Patterns exploded, causing the nine-star general’s head to explode.
He raised his head and looked at the sky.
He knew that the city defense experts would occassionally cause trouble for the Alliance.
When he said those words, he was obviously telling him that what was happening was related to him.
“Not good…”
Lin Fan thought about one possibility which was that the Alliance Headquarters had discovered where they were hiding.
The moment he stepped into Alliance territory, he met someone who wanted to draw people out.
“Based on how the Alliance does things, that seems possible.”
Lin Fan didn’t care about anything else. He rose into the air and looked around to try to sense ripples in the space.
At that moment, he disappeared and dashed into the distance.

Everyone is a Superhero! Apart from me
Welcome to Loktharma, where everybody is a superhero from birth. That makes Eugene De Lavet the most special of them all. At eighteen years old, he still has no clue what his superpower is. Loktharma has never been a fair world. There are Worldbreakers who were born to brandish the power of the universe, warp time-space, destroy lands and continents. There are Craftmasters who control the elements and terrorize countries with their might and wits. There are Commoners who are only gifted with power for the finer arts, architecture, military arts, or small-scale elemental manipulation. Even in an unjust world like Loktharma, there is always one constant: everyone is assigned a Flair since birth; the power to do something extraordinary. And then there's Eugene. He's been running around in a secluded forest since birth, training and sparring his ass off. While he can wield a blade better than most at his age, he certainly can't throw a giant boulder using the power of his mind, or turn his skin into diamonds. He has no Flair, no purpose for leveling up his stats, and no idea why General Rizeni Baggardo keeps him confined inside a forest for eighteen years. At least until Lord Pyro—the Craftmaster of Tailiah—unleashes his fury on the forest, searching for a treasure Eugene doesn't even know exists. On a frantic escape for his life, Eugene starts to realize he was a part of something he's been completely oblivious to until now. Along with his companions, Melodi and Azra, he travels the land and unveils the secrets of the world. [The story will be told primarily through the lenses of three main characters, with occasional side character POV chapters. It also draws inspiration from Japanese shounen. So only proceed if you're cool with these aspects.]
