Chapter 259: 259
As the air gun landed, it set off a strong airflow in the surroundings.
The swamp on the ground flipped over, and a huge vortex appeared in the middle.
Dong!
When the air gun landed on the top of Flanders’s head, a muffled sound was heard.
Whoosh!
A huge airflow swept over!
Immediately after, the buzz-cut saw the air gun break in an instant.
“This…”
The buzz-cut was shocked.
This was useless?

What kind of material was this scarecrow’s body made of?!
Just as his voice fell, the scar-faced man’s attack came again. The sharp blade light was floating with flames and directly chopped at the young man’s head.
Swoosh!
The blade light filled the sky.
It directly swept a few hundred meters away.
There were still many people surrounding that place.
When the blade light flashed, the group of people dodged one after another.
Among them, one or two people did not dodge in time and were severely injured on the spot.
However, they were all B rank mages after all.
They all knew some healing magic, so these people quickly became lively again.
In fact, they were already about to leave, afraid that the scarecrow would come again at an unknown time. However, when the situation here happened, they saw that the young man was stopped.
The two of them were standing in the air.
In addition, they were very famous, so they were quickly recognized.
Therefore, they stopped and began to observe.
Although these two people had only been in the Black Swamp for a few days, everyone was very clear about their strength. They were quite powerful, with B+ strength!
This was also the reason why they dared to stay and watch.
In their eyes, the scarecrow should not be a match for them.
After all, both sides were B+ rank.

As for the scarecrow, he was alone.
On their side, there were two B+ rank mages. Moreover, many of them knew that one of them was close to an A rank.
Under such circumstances, how could they not be able to deal with a scarecrow?
Although they had heard of it.
This scarecrow had killed B+ mages before, but they had only heard of it.
In this place, there were often people who liked to exaggerate the dangers they had encountered to show that they were very powerful.
They felt that this scarecrow was the same.
Of course, this was not because this scarecrow did not have strength. They had seen this scarecrow when he slaughtered the few mages before and knew that this scarecrow was very powerful.
However, they still felt that the other party’s strength was exaggerated.
Hence, they watched on fearlessly.
When this terrifying blade light attacked, everyone’s expressions changed.
“This is too powerful!”
“Even though they are so far away, there is still such a powerful aftershock. This is truly terrifying.”
“With this, that scarecrow should be gone, right?”
“Do you even need to say that?”
These people spoke one after another.
However, when they shifted their gazes over, their expressions all changed.
That scarecrow was actually fine!
Not only was he completely fine, what was even more ridiculous was that this scarecrow actually did not move at all, allowing the other party to slash at him!
“This… this scarecrow is so brave?”
“The two of them… should be fine, right?”
“I’m not sure.”
Everyone instantly lost their confidence.
A second ago, they were still saying that the scarecrow would definitely not be able to last, but in the next second, the scene before their eyes directly overturned their thoughts.
…
The group’s thoughts changed.

At the scene, the buzz-cut and the scar-faced man’s expressions were even more unsightly.
Especially the scar-faced man.
Not only did he display almost 100% of his strength in that attack just now, he even deliberately picked the right time, found the best angle of attack, and aimed at the attack position…
He was full of confidence in this attack.
In his imagination.
Even if this attack could not kill the Scarecrow, it could at least make a hole in the opponent’s body.
But the situation in front of him…
Was completely useless?
The scar-faced man could not believe it.
However, he had to believe it at this moment.
Moreover, both of them were experienced veterans. Even if they were really scared, they would not be too scared.
The buzz-cut and the scar-faced man quickly retreated.
“You’re afraid just like that?”
When Flanders saw the other party’s actions, he could not help but reveal a strange smile.
“Then now, it’s my turn.”
Flanders said with a smile.
Immediately after, the flesh on his face began to retreat and fall to the ground, revealing the twisted face filled with straw.
Crow Storm.
Countless crows flew out of his body.
Then, they rushed toward the two men.
“Wa–“
“Wa–“
Countless crows flew past the two men.
When their vision recovered, they found that the scene around them had all changed.
The golden wheat field was endless.
In the middle of the wheat field, the crops were golden and plump.
Other than that, the blazing sun hung in the sky, shining rather hot sunlight. The skin that was exposed to the sun felt hot. From afar, even the air seemed to be slightly distorted.
Everything seemed to be real.
The two of them had roughly read some of Flanders’s information and knew that this strange creature had a Domain. Therefore, when they saw the changes in their surroundings, they immediately knew their situation.
However, when they observed it more carefully, they were even more shocked.
“This… is it really a Domain?”
The two of them could not believe it.
This was too real!
It was basically no different from the outside world!
At this moment, a thought appeared in their minds. If they did not know beforehand that this was a Domain, then they definitely would not be able to tell if this was a Domain or if it was the real world.
They would most likely think that this was the real world.
Because everything was too realistic.
“Scar, be careful!”
The buzz-cut frowned and immediately said loudly, “pay attention to the surroundings!”
After a moment.
Scar said, “this is his domain. It’s very disadvantageous to us. Don’t you know spatial magic? Bring us out!”
The buzz-cut nodded.
He grabbed Scar and prepared to leave immediately.
Suddenly, a palm-sized scarecrow appeared from the pile of straw and entered his body.
Oh No!!
Although the buzz-cut saw the Scarecrow, it was too close and did notgive him a chance to react.
So the scarecrow entered his body.
At this moment, the buzz-cut’s expression changed.
They had seen it clearly from high up in the sky.
The reason why the three mages suddenly died was that three little scarecrows suddenly rushed out of the scarecrow’s body and crawled into their bodies. They died in great pain.
Moreover, they had carefully observed the three mages along the way.

They knew their situation very well.
Buzz-cut felt that this skill was very terrifying.
Therefore, during the previous battle, he had been very careful, afraid that Flanders would suddenly throw out a little scarecrow.
Unfortunately, Flanders did not use this move.
In the end, he did not expect that he would actually be hit here!

The Designated: Out of Control
It happened quicker than anyone would have imagined. Multiple hurricanes were one thing. People had dealt with that in the past. But, like kids playing dominoes, one thing crashed into another. Areas affected by hurricanes needed resources all along the Gulf and East Coasts drew rescuers and resources away from other parts of the country. When wildfires lit up the Pacific coast and mid-west, those areas were already understaffed. Driven by hurricanes in the Pacific basin, uncontrolled wildfires burned through towns, destroying everything in their paths. Across the Pacific, Asia didn't escape. From the Philippines, across China, into Indochina, and Bangladesh and India. Typhoons and cyclones pounded the coasts and far inland. Widespread flooding forced millions from their homes and across international borders. Mexico was hit hard and thousands died in mudslides as Katia slammed into their East Coast. The refugees fled north and west. Rumours started that hundreds of thousands were headed for the US border. Instead of running out of steam in the southern US, several hurricanes tore up the eastern seaboard, devastating cities and renewing their strength before veering east across the Atlantic. Maria and Ophelia veered east and slammed into Europe, reaching as far as the Netherlands and Russia before finally dissipating. After that, too many weather stations were offline to provide any form of co-ordinated information or warnings. Wildfires in Portugal burned ahead of the storms, fanned by hurricane winds. They sparked wildfires leapfrogging across Europe, beyond any one country's ability to cope. Already uneasy from multiple terrorist attacks over the summer, anti-refugee groups seized the opportunity to stage protests across Europe. Some turned violent as they clashed with police forces. Several governments declared martial law to quell the rioting and enforce evacuations along the path of the storms. Rumour and speculation overwhelmed facts. Unrest spilled over into widespread violence. Then sickness broke out in the displaced populations. Within a matter of a dozen weeks, tens of millions died. In the coming winter months hundreds more would follow. The Designated Project was activated.
