“Who’s there?” Feng Tianlan asked coldly as she sank her subconscious into the Cinnabar field for a second time .
“Pill Scroll Azurite . ”
As the voice fell, Feng Tianlan saw a pure white jade scroll rise from her gem-like Cinnabar field . The scroll unrolled itself and engulfed her consciousness in a white brilliance . Her consciousness was pulled deeper into a world of white, brimming with Spiritual Qi .
“Greetings, Master . My name is Azurite . ”
Feng Tianlan gazed at the elegant lady in front of her . She was as light as a holy feather and exuded a slight medicinal fragrance . Feng Tianlan frowned slightly and asked, “Who are you? Where is this?”
“I was an ordinary Azurite Pill Scroll a thousand years ago, blessed to receive the nurturing of the Seven Spiritual Pearls . A thousand years of nurturing endowed me with human form and intelligence . You are currently standing in the Pill Scroll Realm . ”
Azurite half kneeled as she elaborated her functions in detail . Initially, she had been a Pill Scroll containing all the Pill Recipes in the world . Upon gaining a form during the thousand-year nurture of the Seven Spiritual Pearls, the Pill Scroll Realm had become a perfect world for cultivation . In this world, time almost stood still . A day in the Pill Scroll Realm was equivalent to two hours in the real world . It was a marvelous place to cultivate and refine medicine .
There were, of course, limitations . As a First-stage Spiritualist, Feng Tianlan was only strong enough to read the first page of the Scroll and stay in the Realm for a day, at most . Feng Tianlan’s eyes sparkled at Azurite’s explanation . The Azurite Pill Scroll was indeed a legendary artifact . Even with its limitations, it was a unique item, which she needed . She didn’t mind the restrictions so long as this artifact now belonged to her .
“It seems that you have resided in this body since the very beginning . Why would you choose now to appear and acknowledge me as your master?” Feng Tianlan quickly regained her cool after the thrill .
“That’s because the Master has returned . ”
Azurite disappeared soon after . Feng Tianlan’s consciousness was forced to eject from the Pill Scroll Realm . She woke up .
Feng Tianlan opened her eyes and looked out the window . The sun was almost up . She thought of Azurite’s words and found a Pill Recipe in her mind . It contained three different methods of pill refinement and their respective ingredient lists . The first recipe was for the Nurturing Pill, followed by the Spirit Boosting Pill and the Marrow Cleansing Pill .
She’d just received a Nurturing Pill from Si Mobai . The Spirit Boosting Pill could be used to stabilize Spiritual Qi and speed up cultivation . The Marrow Cleansing Pill could make a good-for-nothing who could never cultivate before into a Spiritual Master . Give a good-for-nothing a Grade 1 Marrow Cleansing Pill, and you’ll see him turn the tides and become a cultivation genius .
Nurturing Pills were still quite common on the Guiyuan Continent, but the Spirit Boosting Pill and the Marrow Cleansing Pill were considered priceless .
