This time, Feng Xiuyu was really frightened . After all, anybody who woke up to find a dead body staring straight at them would be terrified to pieces .

“Father, it must have been Feng Tianlan! She hung this corpse at my door to frighten me,” Feng Xiuyu’s face was pale as she angrily screamed . “Father, kill her now! Kill that despicable girl!”

“Yu’er,” Xu Jiayi chided her .

“What’s going on?” Feng Xiang’s face was grave as he questioned Xu Jiayi . “Did you send someone to kill her?”

“She deserves to die! I want her to die!” Feng Xiuyu hated Feng Tianlan so much . She couldn’t hide how much she wanted her to die anymore .

Xu Jiayi saw that Feng Xiang was becoming angry, so she quickly explained, “I didn’t send someone to kill her . I just wanted someone to teach her a lesson on Yu’er’s behalf . ”

She wondered: since when was Feng Tianlan so tricky to deal with? She wanted to kill Feng Tianlan as soon as possible . But then, she thought about the treasure and told herself that she had to keep it together .

“I told you to control your anger already . It’s only a month until my birthday celebration, and then we’ll get the token . After that, I don’t care how she dies,” Feng Xiang angrily stared at the both of them . “I will pretend that this whole thing didn’t happen, but neither of you is to step outside until Pei’er comes back . ”

“Father!” Feng Xiuyu clutched her blanket as she shouted back, “Mother and I didn’t do anything wrong . Why are you grounding us! Why!”

Xu Jiayi tried to soothe Feng Xiuyu with a gentle voice, “Listen to your father . You’re always losing control of your temper . That’s why you keep getting the short end of the stick . ”

“But Mother…” Feng Xiuyu was angry and felt unfairly treated, but there was nothing else she could do except lie in bed and cry in agony .
