He stared at Gu Yun who was dressed in red as she stood with her hands by her side . Under the sunlight, her side profile looked like Feng Tianlan’s had the day she left .

He realized for the first time that Yun’er had similar features to Feng Tianlan . Besides, why was he suddenly thinking that this portrait looked like Yun’er?

“Father . ” Gu Yun raised her head and looked at the Beiqi Emperor . She frowned in disgust then returned back to normal right after .

Looking at Gu Yun who was smiling faintly, the Beiqi Emperor suddenly regained his senses . She was no match for Feng Tianlan . She was only a little similar to her, but she couldn’t be compared to her . One was the moon in the sky while the other was its reflection in the lake . They were similar but they couldn’t be compared to one another .

“What did you want to discuss with me?” The Beiqi Emperor sat down, hugging the painting like it was his treasure . He thought about the scene just now . He already felt such a strong craving just by looking at her painting . If it was her in the flesh, he would definitely ascend into the sky .

“I am here to help father make Feng Tianlan your concubine . ”
