My Unconventional Delivery System! Chapter 162

The volunteers could hardly believe what they heard from him, of course, they didn't doubt him after all he won't gain anything from lying to them, it's just hard to believe what he said, them as a noble? They haven't dreamed of becoming one! Much less becoming one!
Kyle looked at them, who was having a hard time believing what he said, though he could understand because from their perspective, a common like them becoming a noble just because they volunteered? Isn't it too good to be true? But the problem is it's true, he made them all nobles although only at the Viscount Level because above that is way too much.
"If you still don't believe me, then here." He gave them a golden medallion one by one. This medallion is something that ahead of a noble family has, like for example a baron had a silver medallion, a viscount had gold, the earl had platinum, and so on.
Naturally, as a commoner, they knew the significance of these medallions that are in their hands now, since they often see a noble show it off, showing who is superior in ranks.
Because of these medals, they finally believed it instantly they kneeled in front of him and thanked him with all of their hearts. Some of them are even crying, they couldn't describe how happy they are at this moment, since these groups of volunteers are the poorest even amongst the commoners.
Some of them don't have a house to stay in, some of them live in abandoned churches and some of them even struggle to feed their families. To them, this was more another life given to them by Kyle.
Emroy? She can fuck off! Right now Kyle is their only true God.
If Kyle were to know what they were thinking, he would laugh dryly, then after they thanked him, he continued.

"Since you were assigned as a noble hurriedly, the king hasn't decided which land would you rule, so don't worry about not having a land because that won't happen and the king doesn't have the guts to defy me." He grinned.
After saying that, the former commoners' eyes sparkled, to think their savior was above the king! This made them respect him more, at this point they vowed to only pray at him every day without fail and they would make sure their descendants would pray at him too.
---
After he finished rewarding them, Rory and Hilda came back while carrying some huge pig-like creature. It wasn't an orc because from what he could see, it seemed that the creature doesn't walk the same way as humans, it uses its four legs to walk not two.
For now, this creature's name is Hell pig, because it looks truly like hell, ignoring the face, he approached them and said.
"Is this thing edible?"
"I think so?" While Rory wasn't sure since she hadn't tried eating such a creature, Hilda answered.
"It's edible, while it might look ugly its meat is top-notch."
He nodded, that was the answer that he had been waiting for, appearance doesn't matter as long as it's delicious why not?
"Alright, Rory- no I think you're not suitable for this job. Hilda since you claimed that its meat is top-notch you have tried eating it no?"
"Yes."
"Then, do you know how to skin it?"
"Yes, I can."
"Then, I'll leave the skinning to you."
"Alright! Leave it to me!" Hilda suddenly fired up, then Rory suddenly felt left out, she felt useless and said her concerns.
"W-what about me? Please ask me anything!"
Rory had an expression of someone who is about to cry, honestly, it's cute and that's why it's dangerous, just by looking at her makes you feel unbearable sympathy.

"H-hey, don't give me that look...damn why am I so weak with this kind of thing! Alright stop giving me that look, you can be my assistant while I'm cooking!" After he said that, Rory became lively and exclaimed.
"Thank you! I'll do my best to assist you Kyle-sama!"
After that, Hilda started butchering the hell pig, it only took her few minutes to finish skinning the hell pig, he was in awe looking at her butchering skills, rather than the usual way from butchering, hers was different it had a certain elegance on it, to think even butchering would have a certain beauty on it.
Now, he had the urge to learn it.
As Hilda finished her job, it was time for him to start cooking, since the food supply was lacking he had to cook for those who haven't given rations, it took him several hours to finish cooking and everyone who didn't get a ratio was given, one might say that he should leave this job to others but he wanted to try this at least once, and it was fulfilling, this was a different kind of feeling that makes you happy.
Being able to serve food for everyone is amazing, especially when they are praising your food, then after feeding everyone it was time for him to travel around this world because he never really have gotten a chance to do so back then.
Before leaving he didn't forget to say goodbye to the people of the kingdom, many were saddened by his sudden departure, but they couldn't do anything about it, so they could only wish him luck.
As he expected, both Rory and Hilda followed him through his journey, he needed a guide anyway.
---
It's been a whole week since he arrived in this world, he been to many places already, he got see races that don't exist back in his world, their culture and everything, it was an enjoyable trip, though there are times that they were chased out of territory just because Rory and Hilda are Emroy's apostles.
It seems that not everyone is friendly to Emroy, but it's also within his expectations. after all Emroy isn't the only God in this world, so it wasn't strange for 1 or 2 religions to be hostile with Emroy's religion.
And presently, they were in a deep forest venturing at its deepest part, Rory was a bit confused why Kyle wanted to go in this place, there was nothing in this forest!
But Hilda was different, she somehow had a guess where Kyle headed to, she thought. 'A deep forest….It seems that Kyle-sama wanted to meet some elves.'
And her guess was right on the spot, a few minutes later they found a village at the deepest part of the forest after he found this place, he smiled and said.
"I finally found it, but still it's not easy to find this place sheesh, so this is what their village looked like 900 years ago huh.."
Yes, this elven village was the village he saved from the fire dragon 900 years from now on! The Koan forest, basically the elves that were currently living in this place, are the parents of his elves believers!

Legendary Farmer (available on Kindle July 2022!)
NOTE: Legendary Farmer is now COMPLETE. The first book, Clearing, was released on Kindle Unlimited July 5, 2022 with significant edits. I will post the first chapter of Clearing, as well as three chapters of Cuckoo's Dream, another novel in the LF universe, as a stub, with a link to the first book, so if you love LF and want me to be able to keep writing consistently, please go give Clearing five stars! In the VRMMORPG, Veritas Online, things are getting a little stale. Since the game launched, only one world- wide event has occurred, and that was a year ago.. The players are still having fun, but everyone agrees it’s about time for something big to happen. Everybody tends to forget that big things grow from small things, and little things are always changing in Veritas. The human country of Quarternell is at peace for the first time in... ever. Aspen, a former war hero, feels like he’s earned a quiet life together with his animal companions. They’re tired of fighting, and other people in general. They plan to live peacefully, far away from the city. As soon as Aspen figures out this farming thing out, he’s never going to go anywhere again. Unfortunately for Aspen, his country and his goddess aren’t quite done with him yet.Rouge the Rogue is a casual gamer in Veritas Online. She’s just a kid, and her focus is supposed to be on school and hanging out with friends. Emphasis on ‘supposed to’. She’s already pretty good at the school thing, and she doesn’t actually have that many friends. What she really loves is exploring all the cool ways the developers of Veritas found to make their game unique and realistic. Then she’s offered a very special quest, and an opportunity to go beyond the average player. She’s never been that much of a rule follower anyway....Clearing is appropriate for most ages. It has minimal foul language, no sex, and some violence. It is LGBTQ+ friendly. (P.S. IMPORTANT! This book contains very mild profanity, no sex, and is meant to be FUN. Yes, the characters sometimes think Deep Thoughts, and idealism pretty much runs rampant, but, in the end, I hope you just enjoy reading it. Laugh, cry, share it with your kids, read it to your dog, whatever makes you happy. My goal is for it to be accessible to everyone from ages 12ish on up, so you could definitely consider it YA, but with lots of big words because I don't believe in talking down to my readers.) Book Two: Harrowing (Starts after the original Chapter Fifty, now Sixteen, since I condensed chapters from the same perspective together.) Zoey has started her summer internship at Veritas Corporation, and she can honestly say that being an adult is boring. Until she starts learning secrets she was never supposed to know. In game, Rouge is finally making progress on her big quest. Apparently Duke Penbrooke took too long to return to the world, so the world is coming to get him... in the form of a few assassins. Aspen is going to have to face the life he left behind, and deal with the fact that it's not as easy being 'dead' as he thought. When what he'd hoped would be a short trip back to civilization to resupply turns into a whole lot more, he'll have to fight for his life, his friends, and his kingdom. Book Three: Sowing Rouge and Aspen have reached Bright, only to find that their enemies were already expecting them. They will have to quickly unravel the mysteries of who their opponents actually are, because they're already ten steps behind. Rouge and Aspen are finally home, but that doesn't mean they can return to their peaceful days of farming. Their enemies are hot on their heels and determined to destroy everything they've managed to achieve. Join them and all their friends for the final volume of Legendary Farmer.

Thief of Time
[Participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] Book 1: The Legend of Tot Synopsis: Claud Primus, a self-declared master thief, has a simple goal. To live forever. It's a rather easy task, for miraculous objects called lifestones are able to extend one's lifespan. These lifestones are best found in the treasuries of nobles, lovely resorts that Claud pays a visit to every so often. Unfortunately, one of those nightly visits go awry, and Claud is forced to escape with just a single lifestone and a box in hand. Normally, that's when things die down. The guards yawn, the gates close, and the night continues. But this time, the night isn't that forgiving. A dozen schemes result in the murder of someone important, and with a convenient scapegoat — Claud — at hand, it doesn't take long for him to be framed as a heinous criminal, wanted for the indirect murder of someone high up...and it just gets worse from there. Book 2: The Moon Lords' Rise Synopsis: As ordered chaos sweeps across Licencia, Claud leaves for Julan Barony, intent on making some profits there. Accompanied by the erstwhile heiress of Julan, a fellow member of the Moon Lords, the two plot against the barony's wealth...as well as a promise to bring about its downfall. Meanwhile, back home, the Moon Lords have busied themselves with digesting their gains. Eyes, however, are beginning to turn to this proverbial fish in a small pond. The fishermen are coming. When they cast their hook, what will Dia and the others do? Book 3: Murders under the Moons Synopsis: In the sleepy town of Nachtville, where Claud and Lily are forced to stop at, a set of nasty murders occurs. Victims scream out in fright, before a spear falls from the sky to end their suffering. Cowed and cautious, the master thief and his partner slink in the shadows, their objective that of home... A new task, however, has fallen on Dia. With a trusty helper at her side, she has to set off towards Nachtville itself, to solve the mystery Claud had abandoned. Faced with an enemy whose sole skillset is geared towards killing, how will they succeed? And what dark secrets will they find? Book 4: In the Dark of the Moons Synopsis: The year has ended. The four months of the full moons will soon be followed by two months of the new moons. Duke Istrel's ascension is around the corner. Amidst this political upheaval, Count Nightfall, Licencia's strongest defender, has been called away. The Moon Lords' largest task yet — to protect Licencia in the absence of its ruler — has begun. And yet, trouble is unrelenting. A distinguished personage, one that Claud fears, has been found dead in the county, his brains dug out and his body disemboweled. The inquisitors of the White Church have been dispatched to investigate and apprehend the murderer...as well as the person behind this puppet. Tormented by a call to fight, Claud directs his eyes out of the city, looking for the puppetmaster. Skulking in the shadows, the master thief will soon confront his greatest foe yet. A foe just like him. Book 5: Moonlit Tides and Darkened Seas Synopsis: A new era has begun. For the privileged, the sands of time dribble away for every passing moment, counting down to the arrival of a entity of mythical proportions. The night now harbours shadows and fog, and operatives of the Moons and the Dark clash in shadow. Claud, as usual, is investigating a spate of nasty disappearances in the city, but little does he know what these disappearances truly mean. And yet, a tide is coming. When it finally breaks, what will he do? Book 6: Secrets in Shadow Synopsis: The person behind a strike that would enter the annals of history flees his home, bringing with him the person closest to his heart into a new land and into a new world. Having left Istrel for the first time in his life, the two of them attempt to settle down in foreign lands, only to be caught in the middle of hostilities between two mighty powers grappling for dominion. Yet, none of that has anything to do with him. Following his desires, Claud eventually makes his way to the fabled Celestia Ruins, a fragment of another world. Bearing witness to truths he cannot yet comprehend, he returns from his exploration, a small break away from the machinations of destiny. One thing, however, is for certain. Destiny will not wait for him. Book 7: Reddest Rage Synopsis: Destiny churns on, heedless of mortal machinations, and Claud watches as the battlegrounds between the Moons and the Dark are drawn up. With the forces of the great Dark occupying Lostfon, Claud comes to a startling realisation — that he may have very well be a murderer of heinous proportions. Grappling with that realisation, he struggles to prepare for his Second Tutorial... Back in Istrel, Dia finds herself confronted with a perennial truth. Even in a time of writhing destiny, the machinations between nobles never cease to end — and unfortunately for her, the group once known as the Moon Lords are forced into dealing with a petty squabble between two counts. What they didn't account for, however, was the startling discovery they would soon make... And the shadow of the Red God's Holy Son behind it all. Book 8: Darkness Descends Synopsis: Nightmares haunt the horizon as Claud sinks and awakens from a seeming dream. What was once illusory begins to play out before him, in a way he cannot imagine. Dia, forced to wield arms, begins and ends a battle that opens her eyes to the vast dangers that lurk in this sundered world. Under the banner of humanity and divinity, she beholds the silent, forgotten protectors of Orb...but there is no forgetting the battle between the divinities. The Dark descends, the Moons writhe, and the horns of war blow once more. But this is not their battle. Not yet. Book 9: Moons Muster Synopsis: As more and more events fall into place, Claud finds himself desperate. Not for himself, but for the person who has turned into his world. Armed with the knowledge of a certain future, he approaches the only person that could possibly help him in his time of need, trading information for a promise of help. With that as solace, he returns to the grim task of understanding and seeking, revisiting an ancient, shattered fragment of another world...unleashing changes that he never knew was possible. Back in Istrel, Dia and the others must now navigate around a familiar spirit, who seeks to investigate the death of his master's Bearer. With them as prime suspects, the Seekers of Life must move carefully...but the Coloured Gods are not the only divinities eyeing them closely. The Moons, bristling from repeated defeats, are looking for new recruits, and the Seekers of Life are prime cannon fodder. Above all, destiny marches on, the unfeeling clock a warning to all. The Trial of Aeons will soon arrive. Book 10: Destiny Divine Synopsis: ??? Release frequency: one every few days or something, I guess. (This work is also being serialised on Webnovel under the name Revile as a trial run)
