Soon the class ended but Lana had still to see him. It was now or never like do or die.

She had to face him for the sake of her kids and their lives…

"Sis, have it…" She was sitting in the corner of most of the canteen and was thinking all kinds of things until Caspian came and said in a low voice while handing her a burger.

"Hi… You know it's expensive.. Can you not just waste your money on me?"

She looked at the burger and indeed it was costly. Even a cup of coffee was unaffordable for her here let alone having something to eat.

"It's sis.. have it.. I have to go now and please don't stay here longer. I'll try to find a good job for you…" He said left.

Lana sighed while looking at the burger and kept the unwrapped packet in her bag

"Rain and Alex will be happy to eat it…" She smiled and went away.

Aiden had some work to do as he had moved all his work to the university campus.

He, at first, was expecting Lana to visit him but after what had happened he was not even trying to think of it.

He knew there was a very dark history during those years of her life but it was not deliberate. He just wanted to make her talk to him.

She had never talked to her more than a few words but look what happened? He just messed things up in the end.

He was busy at work when someone knocked on the door.

"Come in.."

He said while closing the confidential files he had been reading and locked it into his drawer.

The door opened with a really very slow pace making him lose his patience

"Are you coming in or not?"

He did not know who was at the door but still he had been waiting for almost a minute now. And businessmen like him make Millions and Billions of money in each and every minute.

Lana quickly walked in and stood there.

Aiden was a little shocked to see her.

'She came to meet me even after all those things?'

He thought to himself and waited for her to talk.

She stood there without talking as if she was here just to waste his time but he was very patient with her.

When he saw her looking down constantly and was not talking, he decided to talk and said

"Miss Lana…!! Is there anything I can help you with..?"

Lana was so nervous and afraid to talk in front of him. She knew he was savage and had no mercy for anyone.

She had heard from Misty how ruthless and heartless he was to reach this much success in his young age.

She still did not dare to talk and put an application on his table.

"What is this Miss Lana?"

He already knew why she was here but he wanted her to talk to him. He was guilty and wanted to apologize to her

"S...Sir… I… I don't want to leave.. I mean I have my own house to live here… I don't want to live in dorms. "

She said and rubbed her both hands which were full of sweat.

Aiden saw her moments and said "Miss Lana… I am a little busy right now.. I have an online meeting to attend. Why not just sit here and relax while I do my work…"

His voice was very soft and gentle which made her look up to him for the first time since she entered the room.

"But sir.." This was also the first time she talked after entering the room. He thought to himself and handed a glass of water to her.

"Have it and relax" He said and then took out a book from his drawer and put it in front of her.

"Why not you solve these questions. This way we both can be busy without getting bored"

Lana's eyes lit up when she saw the book in front of her. She was afraid that she might not be able to sit and watch him while working so she quickly picked up the book and went to the couch to sit.

He could tell easily what she was worrying about. He smiled and opened his laptop for the meeting.

His meeting went for about an hour or more and during all the time his eyes were glued to the certain tiny figure on the couch who was so engrossed in her work that she even forgot that she was all alone in the room with a man...

"Miss Lana"

She was still solving the question when she heard a deep and hoarse voice above her head.

She looked up quickly and bumped her head into his.

"Ouch… Can't you see I'm studying Cassy? Go play elsewhere…"

She did not even look at him and shooed him away.

'Cassy? Is this not the guy who was being all smug in the class with me'

He thought to himself and clenched his teeth and went back to his seat.

'Fine… If this is what you want then keep it up… It's not like I mind seeing you in front of me.' He said and took out his phone

and turned off the sound of camera.

He took more than 10 photos of her in the similar posture and then took a selfie while looking all rigid and cold in it.

'I wish I could see you like this daily for the rest of my life…'

He looked at his cell phone and then at the figure in front of him..
