Mr. Will kowtowed on the spot and said "My lord! I beg your pardon for my little daughter.. She did not know about you so she kept rambling"

He quickly eyed his wife and daughter, they did the same and Mrs Will said

"We are so sorry that His Highness and Her highness have to witness all these. She is just like that. Please forgive her"

Jess rolled her eyes in annoyance. They were making it like she was the one in the wrong.

And why not! If people could only go by the rumors they would literally think that she was the one who did wrong.

'What a game! They are truly very experienced in these type of ploy'

She thought to herself and said nothing.

"I understand."

The King said and stood up to leave.

"My Lord! My Lord, please give us some more chances to serve you. We will not make any mistakes and she is gone too"

Mrs Will quickly looked up and said while begging him.

"Look Lindsey and George, we have had enough of your warm welcome! She would never have accused her if you guys had been honest. Isn't it normal to ask back what belongs to her!? Why are you guys being so dramatic!"

Jess's mind had exploded by the way they were trying to make her look bad.

Lindsey and George, the so-called uncle and aunt of Lana, were all smug a while ago but when Jess started bashing them, they had nothing to say.

"Agent K! I guess the Imperial Father and the Imperial Mother should leave. I need to talk them a little bit"

She looked at King and he nodded in agreement so she ordered the guard to take them away as it would be disrespectful for her to talk in front of them.

"I will stay with my Mom" Victor smiled at them and Agent K lead them out but soon he came back and announced

"His Highness said that since you guys have requested one more chance then you will be invited to the palace soon."

Agent K said coldly and then advised them, amidst of his coldness

" So don't leave the city. The invitation may come within three months and it might be abrupt that you have to come right away!"

He left while saying his piece after bowing to Victor and Jess.

A flat of joy beamed in the Wills and they quickly bowed their heads to the leaving figure of Agent K.

When they left Jess continued with her talks which was left half way

"So? You guys think I don't understand anything?"

She said and then left them in their kowtowing position.

"Victor, follow me!"

And he did as his mother said.

Lana went to the room and locked it from inside.

All the while when she was yelling at them, she could tell her illness was acting up. She tried her best to stay there but when she couldn't hold it anymore, she went inside with an excuse of the bank cards, she went inside and quickly took out her inhaler and inhaled it for the whole 30 to 40 seconds.

She did not know what to do so she casually collected the cards from George's wallet and went out. She thought that she would be fine after that but then the topic turned to her parents, their graves and how they lied that 'Casper' had been missing since she left.

But it was clear that they 'murdered' him cruelly. If not for Misty, He could have never been discovered and died.

All the things from the past started dancing in front of her eyes and she couldn't take it anymore so this time she finally left and locked herself in the room.

She wanted to leave the place or kick them out but given her condition, she couldn't leave at all!

She went inside and started breathing heavily. Tears started rolling out of her eyes and she wanted to cry. She wanted to cry it all out as loud as possible.

Lana tried her best to control herself but in the end when she couldn't, she just went to the washroom, attached to the room and opened each tap in the washroom and started sobbing out loud.

At the moment she really did not care if they would hear her or not. She just wanted to cry until she was satisfied.

She cried and cried and cried hard!

Her body was burning up in anger and regret.

She was regretting falling in love with a scumbag like Leo.

She regretted believing that those two bitches were her sisters.

She was regretting that she believed in her uncle and aunt.

She was regretting that she obeyed them unconditionally.

She was regretting that she left her little brother to die alone.

All her life all she wanted was love from others. She didn't even know anything about business and was not even interested in it.

Casper wasn't like that either! He wanted to explore the world to go out and see beautiful sceneries but look what did they make him!?

He was now burning in the fire of revenge. When she had seen him after so many years, he was totally changed. Even though he showed her a little affection, he was not as open with her as he used to be.

And whose fault was that!? Only if she would have waited a little then she might have been able to elope with her brother.

Then she would have never come back. They would have settled there and forgotten all those things which happened as the time went. But now? It was too late to regret and and too late to thinks what would have happened if she would have done 'this' instead of 'that'

Casper was her only family now. And she loved him even more than her kids. He was like her own child. So what if they have a very little age gap!? She loved him dearly and she would never be able to see his downfall.

So to save him from the fire of revenge which was igniting day by day in him, she had to come forward and face them.

She would never let him ruin his career and life. It was ok if she was ruined! She has nothing left in her life anyway.

She soaked herself in the cold water even if the weather was cold, she felt relaxed. She was still processing her thoughts when she heard someone knocking on the door

"Seems like they can't let me live in peace"

She gritted her teeth in anger and grabbed a white bathing robe to change.

She was all ready to fight them till the end when she heard an unfamiliar voice

"Lana… Don't worry it's Jess. You can open the door"

A sweet and honey-like voice came from the other side of the door.

Lana frowned and tried to think who Jess was? But even after thinking for a while she couldn't tell who she was.

"Miss Lana, are you ok!? Should I break the door for you?"

When she did not say anything Victor became anxious and said Worriedly.

"Isn't this my ex Boss!?"

She muttered to herself and quickly went to open the door in daze.

"How are you, child? Are you ok? Are you fine!?"

Jess quickly entered the room and examined her from head to toe while keeping a firm grip on her hands.

"M- Ma'am…! I- I am fine"

Lana tried hard not to choke up and burst into tears.

It was the first time someone had asked if she was fine or not other than Misty and Casper.

Victor also followed his mother in but quickly turned his head away when he saw her wet hair and robes which was not even reaching her knees properly.

"If you are so shy then go wait or bring her some comfortable clothes to wear!"

Jess said coldly and Lana finally understood in what state she was so she quickly pulled her hands away from Jess and ran to bed.

She hid herself in the blanket.

Only her eyes were visible to look at them.

She was utterly embarrassed. She had never been like that in front of any man except her own brother.

"Oh… Oh.. then I guess I should bring her something to wear"

He said awkwardly and left. He was equally embarrassed as Lana was!

His ears turned red as if he was blushing and a smile crept on his lips

"She looked cute!"

He said to himself while smiling like a silly person.

Well she did look cute always but in the wet hairs and flushed skin she looked even cuter.

"Prince Victor."

He was still in his heavenly thoughts when a disgusting voice came to his ear.

Well for him it was really disgusting to hear.
