Lana's body was shaking in fear so she did not dare take anything from her but when she heard Casper would worry about her after seeing her in this state, she agreed!

Cali took her into 'her' room, which obviously, previously belonged to Lana.

"Come. Let me give you a piece of clothing to change and dress your wounds"

She gave her an 'old' dress which she had worn for 'one' time only.

But for Lana, it's been years to wear something like this.

She was happy that 'sister' Cali was always ready to help.

"Ok Lana, just go to Casper. I have nursed your wounds. But please don't scare the child by telling him what had happened here!"

She said in the most soft way possible.

Lana forced a smile at her and walked away. She was just a few steps away from the door when Cali called her again "Lana!"

She turned back to see what she had to say but rather than saying anything she had stuffed something in her hands.

It was a bill of two thousand dollars!!

She looked at her unblinkingly.

Not knowing what to say and how to react.

"Take this money and try to escape while you have time! Later, don't blame me if anything happens to you!"

Lana was shocked when she heard her.

Though she knew the place she was living was nothing but a living hell!!

But still if this had come from her enemy herself then it must be something wrong.

Looking back at the time it was a week away when she had been forced to have drugs and added one more nightmare in her life.

Though she did not understand, at this moment, keeping that money was the wisest thing to do!

Cali was taken aback! She would never have expected this kind of reply from her.

"Lana… I don't really know why they are so hungry and thirsty over money but let me tell you, don't ever believe people around you! Not everyone who seems to be loving and caring are actually like that.."

Cali went back to her bed and sat.

"You are on the path where you can't ever trust who is so good to you but sometimes a person whom you are not familiar with, will help you out"

Indeed, Lana was close to Zoey since they were classmates but to Cali, she was still strangers with her!

But then again there is no way she would help her. why? Why would she do this?

Cali was a really very strange person. Sometimes she was good and sometimes she was really bitchy.

Naive Lana couldn't put her finger on that.

Without talking anymore she turned back and left.

Lana had saved almost five hundred dollars by now and since Cali had given a 'huge' amount of sum, she was delighted and brought her little brother to the market to buy him some clothes.

Little Casper was so happy to finally have some new clothes for himself.

Earlier he used to wear the best brand clothes and now he seemed to be happy while having street clothes.

Seeming his pure and innocent smile Lana's heart melted.

She hugged him tight and said "No matter what, I will always protect you. Whether I will be here in the future with you or not!"

Though Casper was not above 12 or almost 13 he was nothing but a frightened child who needed the shelter of her sister to survive.

He hugged her back and said "Sister and Casper will always be together forever!"

Hearing him, a drop of tear fell out of her eyes and she quickly controlled it.

"Yes yes we will always be together forever!"

She wanted to cry out loud and kill each and every person in the world. She did not want to leave her little brother behind and had taken him out one last time as a farewell.

Later she had taken him to the restaurant to eat and the little eyes were happy and chidedly.

"Listen to me Cassie, I have something to say to you!"

Lana hugged him tight and said in a serious tone.

Though Casper was not good at reading people, he was surely good enough to know what his sister was going through.

"Sis! Are we really going to run away!?"

"Yes but we can't live together at all! And even after leaving we can't stay in touch until the situation here is good enough!"

At this time Lana was already a disgrace to her family who had slept with a wild man. And she had heard them planning and plotting for the future things.

Turns out that after what had happened they will kill her and circulate the news that she had run away or they will kill her in s way so that it will look like a suicide and they will tell everyone that she couldn't take disgrace and killed herself. And as for the little guy, they will just make him go mad so that he would never be able to talk or think on his own. They would make him a living 'puppet' and make him do whatever they want and in this way he would just help them and sign all the properties and wealth under their names!

And later when they were done with this he would be killed as well! And who would ever ask about a crazy person anyway!?

Lana had heard everything and her body shook.

Not only Cali was present there but Leo as well!!

She was already in a mess but after hearing all this she really felt like dying for real.

But die for whom? A person who had cheated on her? And made her fool all these years?

A person who was nothing but a greedy fella?

If she were to die for such a person then it would really be a disgrace to her life!!

Why would she not live for the person who had given her warmth in cold nights and his little shoulder to cry in tough times? 'She will live! She will live for her brother! She will live for Casper!'

But on top of that, what was even more shocking was Cali!

She had said all those words by her very own mouth!

Cali had sensed she was there but she still said those words piercing her heart in thousands of pieces.

At least she believed that even if she would not stop them from troubling her but talking all these even though she knew she was right behind the door and sneakingly watching them. That was too much to take!

"Six months! In just six months we will end their story! She is turning 18 in around 9 to 10 months so we have to take a step and end her up in 6 months!"

Cali was really clear with her words. And there was no doubt that she was lying as her father had said "I am proud of my daughter. She had almost escaped but even if she did I had my 10 men waiting for her out there to play with her but… That was also a good move! You made her sleep with some wild man in the end!"

Cali was quiet for a moment and said "Of course. Leo had been helping us all these years and it's all thanks to him that she was lured there! It's still better anyway!"

Her each and every word was hitting like a nail in her heart.

"We have dealt with her sis, given her personality, she will kill herself for sure!!"
