Running For Life!

After having a talk and discussion with the doctor Lana went home but she would never have thought that they would be celebrating her death inside there.

What was even more shocking was they were now planning to kill her little brother but the lightning struck her when she was Leo with them laughing happily.

She noticed that Cali had seen her and yet she blurted all the things out and their plans to make her heart jump out of her rib cage.

Her uncle had arranged 10 men to play with her but because of the 'mistake' of Cali.. She went to the opposite room and yet she ended up sleeping with some man and their plan was still a big success.

They were happily celebrating her death.

How cruel the reality was!

Her body was shivering and she really felt like dying. Just why in the world was she alive when no one wanted her to live?

But then again… She had her little brother and now she even had a little 'pea' in her tummy.

She caressed her tummy and went to see Casper who was looking for her everywhere in the house since he had woken up.

She went out of the house and packed their dresses in a bag. She threw the bag out of the wall and took the little guy out with her after collecting all the little money she had.

She took him out and treated him to a lot of good street foods and then in a decent restaurant.

"Sister and Casper will always be together forever." This was the sentence making her heart pierce like thousands of needles.

She wanted to kill the whole world and destroy everything in the world at the moment but the little Casper's warmth was enough to make her calm and feel her like a human rather than a living corpse.

She told Casper that they were escaping but for each other's safety they have to live apart. They could not stay together which made the little guy's face fall but he still understood the seriousness of the situation.

They both agreed though no one was happy with this decision.

Casper's eyes were red while crying.. Lana hugged him and said " No matter what you suffer and how much you suffer. You promised to grow up and protect me so you can not just give up and must stay alive!"

She hugged him tight and said while crying.

Casper wiped her tears and said "No matter what! Casper will survive and kill everyone who had made my sister Lana suffer"

His eyes were bloodshot due to all the crying and wailings but he silently turned and went home.

He was planning to escape tonight but who would have thought that Lana and he would be spotted together by them and they have to rush their plans.

Lana did have a ticket for the next to leave but she still had the whole day to ensure her brother's safety and guarantee of his life but now.. Now everything was opposite of what she had thought.

Casper was taken away by them but she was able to run away from them.

Lana's whole body was shaking.

Now she had to make a decision. If she does not leave today she will lose her little brother and her life along with the unborn baby in her tummy and if she was able to escape then she might be able to save her little brother.

She sat under the same bridge she was last night and heaved up and down.

What was she here for again? To die? What a joke!

The place which she chose to die the last day was not keeping her safe from them but what about her brother?

She cried and cried and cried until her body felt lighter and she couldn't hold back anymore.

It's been an hour since she was there and the men looking for her were all gone.

Now she was there alone and quickly picked her little bag up and strode to the hospital.

She had to receive her reports from them.

She went there and asked for Dr. Nova there and she finally came out to meet her.

Nova was shocked to see her in the same situation she had come last night "What are you? A criminal?Or some criminals are chasing after you?"

She asked in full of surprised tone.

"Ma'am please provide my reports."

She bowed her head and said politely.

Nova was a young doctor and she was not even 20 yet but she was exceptionally talented so she was here treating a lot of patients with her amazing skills.

She looked at Lana and handed her a bottle of water to calm down.

Lana finally had her ultrasound report and kept on looking at it. There was nothing visible but Nova pointed at a particular spot and said "This is your baby"

Lana looked at it amusingly and caressed at the spot.

"We doubt there are two babies in there!"

Nova said with a happy and excited voice while Lana kept on looking at it.

She bowed her head and thanked Nova with the bottom of her heart and left.

She went to look for her brother in the Will's Mansion but it was guarded very well.

She could not enter there as of her free will and it was even more impossible to look for Casper with her situation right now.

She turned back and went to look for a place to stay and in the end she went to the same bridge and slept under it in the cold chilling night.

Her night was full of nightmares and shivers.

The next day when she woke up she heard some noises.

"Look everywhere. We might be able to find her here"

The voice was coming from the bridge and she was under it. She did not know whom they were looking for until her name was mentioned.

"Boss said we can not harm that little brat until we have him sign the papers willingly so he has to live but this bitch..Lana!! Why not just capture her and taste her youthful body?"

Hearing their words she felt like dying. Her knees were feeling weak and she felt that her end was here at last.

She looked in front of her and the waves of the river were higher.

'Seems like I really can not live anymore!'

"You are so lusty! How could you just talk like that? I mean we are here to kill, not to gobble her up!"

"Why does it even matter? We were just a step away from having her that night, so why can we not try it today? She does look tasty"

Lana was hearing their nasty conversation and decided to run. 'Either way… I am already going to die! Why not just run away from here… Cassie will be fine I have faith'

She said to herself and started walking with her weak legs.

She was pregnant and had been going through a lot since the last two nights.

She had not had her dinner and not even breakfast. Having two more life in her body and not eating more than 12 hours was really a torture but she could do nothing rather than accepting her cruel fate.

She had just run a few minutes when one of them said "Look…look over there.. Our 'delicious' treat is leaving sneakingly"

The man had yelled so loud which alerted Lana and this time she ran with all her might.

She needed to survive! Not for herself but for her little brother who is waiting for her to rescue him and also two little babies in her tummy who had not even seen the beauty of this world. Well.. She too had not seen any beauty till now!

"Stop there Miss Lana!"

"Stop and we will go easy on you but If you run then you might have to suffer hellish pain!"

They yelled and threatened her.

But as if Lana cared about their threats! She knew she would die the moment she would be captured by them so it was better to keep running, maybe the heavens will have mercy on her and give her a way to save herself?

She kept running and those men kept on chasing her. She was losing strength from running so long and now they were all catching up to her.
