"Mom! Is uncle really going to marry the woman who is the mother of two? I mean it's not like something small! They might be called illegitimate in the future!"

"Nova! Please don't get too involved!" Jess had a huge smile on her face and tried to reason with her daughter.

Everyone was out of the court hall and Adrian was walking to the chamber to his mother and father but was stopped by Victor.

"Oh! My little nephew is here again to talk to me"

He smirked at him.

"You stupid uncle! How dare you call me little!" Victor clenched his teeth in anger.

"How dare you call the Crown Prince a stupid! Do you want to be executed!!!" Adrian said sternly.

"Execute me! Please execute me, dear crown prince. So that I can't tell you that you future wife wants to meet you"

Victor said while looking at him like a bratty kid.

"Fine! If you don't want to tell me then don't! I have no time to play with a kid like you"

Even though Adrian wanted to meet Lana more than anyone at the moment, especially after yesterday's things.

"Ok fine! She called me and asked me to fix an appointment with you yesterday but since I knew it was not possible for yesterday. So I told her that you would meet her today!"

Victor took out his phone and showed him the text which she had sent " Look!.. She texted me just this morning and asked me about the timing!"

Adrian took his cell phone and saw her text which said

[Dear Boss.. Greetings! Can you please tell me when I can meet his highness today? It is a serious matter which needs to be discussed immediately and I don't want it to be delayed. Please help me and I will treat you to a nice dinner!]

He read it and said "Tell her to meet me in the Secret garden at 10 PM"

Adrian had his schedule full and he had no time before 10 so he just said it casually.

"Uncle, are you mad! She is a girl! How could you call her to meet you at 10 PM.. And furthermore.. She is your wife to be… So it is important to give her a face"

Victor wanted to beat him up right then and there was but controlled himself 'Does he really has love EQ or just pretending to be dumb?'

"Yes! She is my wife to be and she should learn to trust me!"

He said and left as he had already made the King and Queen wait for too long.

He entered their chamber and greeted his father and mother politely.

"Mother"

"Father"

He said while bowing his head one by one in front of them.

"Here you are! Come Come!" The Queen pulled her son by his hand and took him inside the room and made him sit on the couch.

"Son! We have something important to discuss with you about your wedding!"

Ludwig saw his son sitting on the couch from where he was standing.

"Father! It was you and mother who insisted that I marry her but if there is really a problem then I am not so sure about it !"

Adrian had removed his mask when he entered the chamber and his beautiful and breathtaking facial features were revealed to them to see.

As his eyes fluttered, his long lashes could be seen and his fair and smooth skin was shining under the room lightning

King Ludwig looked at his son and said "I just wanted to know if you are really ok with this marriage or not? I have arranged it without asking you…And you wanted to marry someone you like!"

"Dad!" When he saw his father talking to him casually he also changed his tone and said "You don't need to be worried! I am fine with it. As long as it is fine with you guys and for the country"

Though Adrian was looking forward to marrying Lana but he still acted like he was doing all these because of his parents and all.

"Son!" Mrs King looked at him and sat beside him "This is not the problem! I mean the girl already has two kids… It's not I mind but still… There is something you need to consider before the marriage!"

"Mom! As long as the kids will accept me… I am ready to call them my own kid and no one in the family would ever talk about them behind our back"

Adrian said firmly as he was confident in himself and there was no way he would let his own wife suffer in the hands of others, whether he had a good relationship with them or not!

He would never let others bully her no matter what.

"So! You are fine with having her as your wife I mean… It's not easy to accept a woman with kids as your wife"

King Ludwig was pretty shocked as he knew what his son was like.

He had heard what had happened at the farm house of Will's.

He wanted to talk to him since then but there was no suitable occasion for it.

"Dad! I am not so much interested about whom I am marrying or whether I am having kids or not but let me tell you I won't have any other woman just like you so I guess you must have carefully considered yourself before making me do this"

He was still having the same expressionless and long face and lying to his parents.

"Fine, fine! Let's go and have something to eat!"

Mrs King eyed her husband and gestured to him not to cause trouble for their son anymore.

They all went to the garden to have evening snacks.

Lana was at her home and did not go to the university as the burning rumours were already going on and Casper had asked her to lay low for sometime.

She had called her ex boss a lot of times but he did not respond to her. She was anxious but was not willing to lose. She must have to meet him at all costs in the next 3 or 4 months… The surgery will be a must do thing for Rain to survive.

She was really very desperate at the moment and wanted to meet him at all costs.

At first she had no easy way of meeting such a high position man, who was going to be the next King of the country but it was her fate and luck that Victor still remembered her and he was kind to her as well.

She did not want to make use of him but she had no other way than this.

She was working in the kitchen when her phone started ringing. She quickly ran to pick up the call hoping it was some news from his side and it was indeed Victor calling her.

She quickly wiped her wet hands in her apron and picked up the call.

"H… Hello Boss!" Her voice was full of expectation which made Victor flinch a little but said nothing.

"So.. Miss Lana… I asked and literally begged my uncle and he agreed to meet you at the secret garden at 10"

Lana felt delighted and took a breath of relief and asked "Please do tell me the room number or the table number, I will definitely be on time there, tomorrow"

Lana thought they were going to meet the next day as she had never been alone with a man at night except her professor who suddenly popped up in her house.

But if you give it a second thought she had been at the Crown Prince's place for the whole of the night but who cares since she was unconscious.

"Wait..Wait.. My dear Lana! You have to meet him today at 10 PM at the secret garden… not the next day! Do you get it?"

Victor had known Lana for about a year now so he knew that she probably would feel awkward or uncomfortable but she was the one who wanted to meet him as soon as possible and his devil uncle was not free before that.
