"Oye! Miss Lana, What in the world is the matter here? They are being so polite to you that even the manager and C.E.O is here to welcome you in person!?"

Misty looked at them and whispered in Lana's ears.

"Well! I will tell you everything later! Please just help me escape from here"

Lana elbowed Misty and said in a low voice so that only she could hear!

"Well! You guys stop doing formalities, our Miss Lana is so hungry and tired!"

Misty said in a bossy voice.

The haughty C.E.O looked at her and gritted his teeth in anger.

'Damn! This brat is also here! Do I need to serve her as well!'

Brian thought to himself and gave her a forceful smile.

When Misty was a kid, she used to run around him saying that she would marry him when she was a grown woman!

Though he knew it was all her jokes, she had made him break up with a lot of his girlfriends. But in recent years, He had been living in peace!

But who would have thought that she would appear here once again. And just by looking at her crafty smile and hearing her bossy voice he had a feeling that something would happen.

"Oh! I am so sorry to keep you waiting, let me show you the way!"

Thankfully before he could say anything the manager spoke up and spreaded his hands to show them the way.

Misty said nothing to the man and just walked away giving him a huge relief.

"No need! From here we can take care of them!"

They had just taken a few steps, and a voice came from behind.

The trio looked back and it was Felix.

All three of them had different views on him.

'Is he not the friend of Professor Aiden? Why is he here and wants to take care of us!'

This was what Lana thought in her mind.

'Damn! Why the hell this pervy guy is here? I don't want to be taken care of by him, I just wanted to have some time with my little Cassie…. *Ahem, and with my Lana!'

Looking at the guy in front of her Misty had her own thoughts about him and even she had given him a tag of a pervert for no good reason!

'Oh! Isn't he the friend of the Professor who always comes to the Uni! He really helped us a lot when rumours broke out and Those stupid creatures almost trapped us'

Till now Casper had a good impression of him but in future who knows he might turn his sworn enemy or a biggest rival over something!

Lana looked at him confusedly and said to the manager while directing her words to Felix

"Can you please tell me why is everyone so eager to take care of me!"

The manager looked at her in a puzzle and did not know how to reply.

"Well! Miss Lana, you are the employee of my best friend and he is also here at the moment so I don't find anything wrong in taking care of you!"

Felix said while having a huge smile plastered on his face!

"You! When the hell did you become an employee of his best friend!"

Felix side eyed the manager and Brian, they all left after that.

"Damn! I was just away for 3 months, only fuc*ing 3 months and what have you done all these months!"

Misty was really getting angry at the things which were going unexpectedly.

Lana was scared of Misty's anger from the start since they became friend and she knew her temper very well so she looked at Felix and smiled awkwardly.

"Mr. Felix, I'm really very thankful to Professor Aiden for offering us a meal but at the moment we are here to have a private meal together and since I am on leave today, so I really don't think that I have an obligation to go and meet him!"

Lana said and bowed her head politely. To this Felix said nothing and called the manager back to take them to their private room.

"Damn! Damn! Damn!!"

Misty was going mad over all the things and Lana was sitting with her head low.

Casper was about to sit next to her but she grabbed his hand and made him sit next to herself and said

"You brat! Just sit next to me! Your number will come soon, just you,wait!"

Caper sighed and went next to her to sit without any question.

He had been with her for the last 6 years and he knew very well more than anyone else about her temper.

He had taught himself one important things at a time like this and that was 'Not to give your head to her, otherwise she will chop it off without giving a second thought over it!'

"Hi! You, Just tell me! What in the world happened to you? Why the hell did you need to work? Did I not tell you to study hard and I will handle the family of 3 on my own?"

She said and punched the table hard, almost letting the things fall on the ground.

"God! You are even working for you Devil Professor, I mean you could have asked me! You know I would have offered you to work for me as my personal designer and you would have started earning."

"I know, I know I would have not been able to pay you a hefty amount but still!"

Misty kept on blabbering and giving her lectures which made Lana's eyes teary and after 20 minutes of her angry lectures she finally opened her mouth and said in between her angry talks.

"Little Rain is suffering from Leukemia, and I needed money!"

Lana said but since Misty was in her flow she did not notice is and said

"So… So what!? It was just leukemia! Why hell… Wait! What did you just say? Our little Rain? You… You mean?"

She stood up in shock and stared at Lana. She knew that Lana would never lie over something this big. If she had said that then it must be true.

Misty froze on the spot and her tears started flowing out of her eyes unknowingly!

*Thud!

She let her lifeless body fell on the chair and looked at Casper and clutched his palm in hers.

She felt like her energy was drained out of her body and her mind had stopped working.

But after taking his hand in hers, she felt like a surge of energy had been passed to her!

"How! How the hell this.. this happen!?"

Still her voice was heavy, The girl who was just yelling at her without taking a break of a single second was now unable to say a sentence of a few words straight.

Looking at her in this condition Lana could even speak a single word and she started crying as well.

"I...I mean… You know, I.. I just went for.. just for 3 months… Lana, Cassie!.. That.. That was just 3 months.. And…!"

She choked up while talking and couldn't even complete what she was about to say!

"Sister Misty, calm down! There are a lot of things you need to know! And you don't need to worry about little Rain, The doctors said that she will be fine after the surgery!"

Casper stood up and patted her back. In return Misty hugged his waist and hid her face into it!

He was shocked for a second and then caressed her hair like she used to do when he was a kid.

He remembered that when Lana had left him, he also used to hug her waist and hide his face there and in return she would caress his head with all her 'love'

"R.. Really!? C.. Cassie! Will.. Will our Rain be fine after.. after the surgery!"

She asked him still hiding her face there and Lana also couldn't help but cry by looking at the condition of her best friend.

She had already expected this kind of reaction from her. She was not sure if she would tell her or not but in the end she couldn't hide such a big thing from her.

Now even Casper knew about it so it was only normal to tell her. After all she had been with her in her good and bad times all these years without any reason!
