Rose sighed a breath of relief as she could see Kelvin Kyle was alright.Nothing happened to him.He somehow managed to dodge the bullet shot.She was just three foot away from him and was just getting into the car.Kelvin Kyle instantly pushed her away in the car and released his gun and shoot at the certain direction.His driver also came out from the car and he was also holding his gun.

Rose started panicking.She could see all the encounters from inside the car.She didn't even think that in her dream that she would ever be involved in a situation like that.

Kelvin Kyle again shoot on the same direction.An intense scream came from the direction.Kelvin Kyle and his driver both ran towards the direction.A person with a black hoodie was trying to run away from them.His right leg was shot and he was barely running as it was difficult to move with injured leg.They was about to catch them but a black car hit the shooter.The shooter's body almost flew away on the air and again hit on the concrete road.His head was smashed.Instantly the road became red with his blood.Kelvin Kyle just threw a punch in the air with anger.As the shooter was spot dead.Now he have to put more effort to find his identity and to know who sent him.

Rose saw everything from the car.Her head was spinning.She just saw a man dying on the road infront her eyes.It was clearly a murder.She was badly shaking.She never experienced this kind of things before this.

Kelvin Kyle and his driver got into the car.

"Luca...At first go to Rose's apartment."Kelvin Kyle ordered his driver.

Luca nodded.

Rose's condition was too bad.She was very scared as everything happened so first.It is her first time to experience this kind of thing.

Kelvin Kyle noticed that.He could feel that she is very scared.He was an ex mafia boss.So this is not a big deal for him.He is used to it.

" Rose."Kelvin Kyle called her in a very soft voice.

Rose didn't reply.She had no idea what was happening around her.She was feeling scared.

Kelvin Kyle hugged her very tightly as if he was trying to comfort her with his warmth.Rose didn't push him away.Instead of pushing him,surprisingly

she hugged him back.She was feeling better as if Kelvin Kyle's warm embrace was able to calm her down.Her head was on Kelvin Kyle's chest.They were so close that he could feel her heart was beating fast.He patted her head with very gentle touch as if his little kitten is very scared.He is comforting it.

"Don't be scared.I am here." Kelvin Kyle mumbled in her ears.

Rose still didn't have the idea that she was in the embrace of her boss.She was still closing her eyes.Kelvin Kyle was still comforting her.

Luca already stopped the car in front of her apartment building.He checked in the mirror that they were still in each other's embrace.He kept quiet instead of calling his boss.May be his boss wouldn't like interruption between their intimate moment.

Rose finally opened her eyes after ten minutes.When she opened her eyes she discovered herself into her boss's arm.She almost jumped in shock.

"I am sorry sir..." She felt very embarrassed.May be she hugged her boss as she was shocked to see the shooter die.

"Its okay.Are you feeling okay now?Or if you are feeling still scared I can stay with you until you feel better." Kelvin Kyle said.

"No....No but thanks.I am feeling better."Rose said.

"Good to hear." Kelvin Kyle sighed.He was not feeling good to leave her alone.He was having the urge of staying with her.

"Thanks for your lift sir.See you in the evening.Bye sir."Rose left.

Kelvin Kyle kept silent for sometimes.

" Luca!drive the car to my mansion."Kelvin Kyle ordered.

"Boss..What about the shooter?" Luca asked.

"I will handle it later.First I have to deal with this stupid engagement."

"Boss...I think Prince sent the shooter."

"May be or may be not."

"If it is not prince then who else could be it?"

"If it was Prince,he could try it earlier.I don't think so,there is any logic to wait for so long just for shooting me."

"It makes sense." Luca said.

Kelvin Kyle sighed a long breath.Whoever tried to do this definitely he won't survive.It is not possible to run away from him.

Damien Kyle was in his mansion holding a file in his hand.He was checking thoroughly.But her concentration interrupted when Tiger called him.

"Boss...."

Damien Kyle stared at him with a questioned gaze.

"Boss,someone tried to shoot Kelvin."

"What?" Damien Kyle narrowed his eyes.

"Yes,boss."

"Who dared to shoot him?" He asked.

"Don't know boss.He is spot dead."

"Is Kel alright?" Damien Kyle first hesitated for a moment then finally asked.His voice was expressing that he is still concerned for him.

"Yes.He is alright.He managed to dodge the target.."

"Good."

Damien Kyle kept silent for sometimes.He took his phone and dialed Prince.He needed to talk with him just at this moment.

After a few time of dialing,Prince finally picked up the call.

"Hello." Prince said from the other side.

"Prince.I am Damien."

"I can hear that you are Damien.You don't need to mention.Now tell me why have you been calling me so many times?"Prince asked.

" Why did you send your man to shoot Kelvin?"Damien Kyle asked her.He was clearly very angry

"Wait?What did you say?I sent my men to shoot Kelvin!!" Prince said with confusion.

"Hey!Just don't act okay?You are acting like you don't know anything..."

"Damien..Whats wrong!!I didn't send anyone to shoot Kelvin.."

"If you didn't send your man then who would dare to shoot him?Are you making me fool?" Damien Kyle gritted his teeth.

"Yes.I didnt send my man or anyone.If I wanted to kill him by just only shooting then I could do it earlier.I didn't have to wait that long.Just don't spit nonsense,Lucifer.I am not the man whom you can show your temper." Prince said with a grumpy voice.

"Then if it's not you,who is it then?" Damien Kyle asked with confusion.

"Look,Damien...I don't have any interest about who tried to shoot that b*stard.And I think you shouldn't need to worry about him also.Or are you worried for him?Please dont say after so much preparation you want to back off!As your brotherhood just rose recently!!" Prince said sarcastically.

"Prince,when did I say I want to back off?I think I didn't mention it to you."

"Then why are you worrying about him?" Prince said in a very cold voice.

"I am not worrying about him.If you are thinking that I am worrying about him then you are wrong!I just want to kill him with my own hand.Its just that I don't want to see him be murdered by anyone else." Damien Kyle said without any emotion.

"Damien,I hope you will be true to your words till final."

"Prince,I am a man of my words."

"Lets see.Everything will be proved till the end if you are a man of your words or not." Prince said.

Damien Kyle hung up the phone.He sat on his rolling chair and closed his deep seated grey eyes.A flashback of a valuable memory started playing in front of his eyes.

Almost eleven years ago,Kelvin Kyle was twenty two years old and Damien Kyle was twenty two.They had an unexpected encounter with the opposite group of mafia gang.They were dealing with about ninety kilogram heroin that they were supplying in the truck hidden in between various kind of dolls.The drugs were cost almost one hundred and fifty million dollar.The opposite gang tried to snatch those drugs from them.So they had to just face an unexpected fight.On that fight they manage to save their goods but someone from the opposite gang aimed Damien Kyle to shoot.But Kelvin Kyle took the bullet instead of him for the sake of his stepbrother.The bullet shot on his left arm.The bullet left a scar mark on his arm forever.

Damien Kyle immediately got Kelvin Kyle admitted into the hospital.After removing the bullet,he went to meet him.

"Why did you do this?" Damien Kyle asked him.

"What did I do?" Kelvin Kyle stared at him.

"Why did you take the bullet?"

"Why shouldn't I?"

"I am the one who had to take the bullet.Not you.." Damien Kyle said in a very cold voice.

"Does it matter?Dami....Whether it's you or I,the consequences are the same.Both of them will feel the pain...."

Damien Kyle hugged him.Kelvin Kyle is totally right.Whether it is Kelvin or Damien would take the bullet. The pain is the same for them.They have one soul with just two different bodies.
