After Transmigrating As A Demon, I've Been Adopted By Angels! Chapter 108

Below the stage, everyone was already stunned by the battle between Fiona and Toru!
This was just a battle between two virtue angels, but it made everyone feel that the two of them were colliding!
At this moment, Lilia had already announced her surrender. Alsa and Lilia rushed toward the stage at the same time!
Toru, who had completely lost his mind, was in great danger.
He was a top-notch genius who was able to reach the peak of the virtue angel at the age of 180. If such a fellow was to cause a ruckus on the arena, it would probably not be a small commotion.
Although there was already a protective barrier cast by archangel Michael on the arena, they still could not slack off!
However, it was very obvious that Toru's speed was much faster than before after he went berserk.
If Michael did not make a move now, Fiona would take Toru's attack head-on.
Ma Mo subconsciously looked at Michael, but Michael had his hands behind his back.
Although Michael's wings were still flapping slightly, and he looked like he could make a move at any time, he did not have any intentions of making a move.
Although Toru had entered a berserk state, Michael still wanted to know Fiona's true strength.
Although he doted on Fiona, he was definitely not doting on her right now. At this moment, Fiona was already an advanced power angel. Even if Toru unleashed his berserk state, Fiona would definitely be able to withstand Toru's attack.
In the next moment, Toru and Fiona collided intensely!
The aura of the longsword in Fiona's hand soared as it directly pierced toward the two steel claws.
The mysterious voice from before was still floating in Fiona's mind.
'Face me!
'Admit my past, present, and future!'

When Fiona was at a bottleneck, that voice told her to forget about her past.
She was her, and it was just her.
What war angel saint? The former seraph was completely unimportant!
However, now that she had broken through to the level of an angel, that mysterious voice was telling Fiona that she had officially passed away.
Was this a contradiction?
Not at all!
Fiona, who had been stuck at the level of an angel, had already completely bound herself to herself.
She believed that the past was a part of the present.
Now that Fiona had broken through to the level of an angel, although she had already admitted everything that had happened to her in the past, at this moment, she had imagined her past self and her present self as two parallel lines!
They would never meet!
A dazzling golden light quickly condensed in Fiona's right palm!
The light followed the handle of the bronze spear and spread to the entire spear.
Ancient patterns appeared on the spear.
The powerful aura caused Fiona's long hair to flutter violently in the wind!
"Judgement of Light."
Fiona's red Lips moved slightly as she muttered the name of the skill.
This was an SS level skill and it was this skill that made Fiona famous as a war angel saint in her previous life!
In the next moment, a shining ball of light that was exactly the same as the one in her palm appeared behind Fiona!
In the end, it turned into a huge shadow.
The face of the shadow could not be seen clearly, and its gender could not be seen clearly.
However, the huge shadow was at least a few hundred meters tall, and it exuded a sacred majesty that could not be defiled!
Crack!
At this moment, cracks actually appeared on the powerful defensive barrier that Michael had used!

Ma Mo and Alsa looked at the sky in disbelief.
This was the defensive barrier that the seraph had used. Fiona was only a power angel, so how could she be able to shake the seraph's defense!
This immediately shattered their worldview!
At the same time, Michael's eyes moved. He was extremely surprised in his heart.
"She is actually able to mobilize the aura of her previous life for her own use...
"What stage has Fiona's state of mind reached?
"It looks like if we don't act now, it will be very difficult to stop this farce."
Michael immediately turned into a ray of light and appeared on the shattered light barrier in the sky.
A small hand pressed on the light barrier.
"Suppress!"
Michael faintly said. An incomparably pure divine power swiftly poured into the light barrier. The crack very soon disappeared.
However, as the enormous light shadow followed Fiona's actions, the crack on the light barrier swiftly spread!
In the next moment, the huge shadow merged with Fiona!
It was as if the shadow of light was Fiona, and Fiona was the shadow of light!
Fiona's aura continued to rise, and in an instant, her aura reached its peak.
Boom!
A strike!
Toru's steel claw collided with Fiona's Judgement of Light!
In an instant, an incomparably terrifying whistling sound erupted from between the two!
All the spectating angels present were suddenly forced back a few steps by that terrifying aura!
Their faces were deathly pale!
If it was not for the fact that they were angels and possessed the ability to fly, it was likely that just the aftershock from Toru's battle with Fiona would be enough to cause the deaths of thousands of people.
On the ground, a blue array slowly rose.
A warm current appeared under everyone's feet and quickly entered their bodies.
S-class skill: AoE Recovery.
Alsa attacked with all his strength, which made the spectators feel better.
On the high platform, the horrible atmosphere slowly dissipated.
Everyone could now see clearly what was happening on the high platform.
Fiona slowly stood on the spot, the bronze spear in her hand stabbing the ground.
The long hair on her back slowly fluttered in the air.
In the distance, Toru had already returned to his human form. He had fainted on the ground.
A fist-sized hole had appeared on his hands covered with dragon scales. At this moment, blood was slowly flowing out.
Lilia walked forward. When she saw Toru's appearance, she could not help but shake her head helplessly.
What kind of matter was this...?
Toru's character really needed to be changed.
If he had listened to Lilia's command, this kind of thing would not have happened.
Seeing that the battle had ended, Michael slowly descended from the sky.
Looking at Toru who had fainted and was heavily injured, a trace of pity flashed across Michael's eyes. A pure life energy rushed toward Toru's direction.
The life energy directly landed on Toru's body. The bloody holes on his hands were rapidly recovering.
When everyone saw this, they could not help but cheer!
Fiona had defeated the chosen one from the Dragon Race!
Everyone cheered, but at this moment, Fiona did not care.
Her gaze was a little complicated as her eyes swept across the crowd.
In the distance, a familiar figure appeared in her eyes.

The Ingress Estate
Jonathon Eucole. Soldier. Scholar. Now an Initiate, the dedication without dedication, he finds himself both prisoner and master of an arcane edifice, the Ingress Estate, which can neither be escaped, nor controlled; only diverted, maintained, and pacified. This is a gothic fantasy story, set in a world in which gods and the afterlife are not only real and known, but were both established in living memory of some of the inhabitants after millennia of arcane warfare with the being who constructed the mundane reality the humans occupy. But this isn't the story of those who colonized the afterlife at the cost of their own humanity, but a somewhat more ordinary man, in somewhat extraordinary circumstances. This is also a LitRPG-lite, which means there's a system of sorts, fragments of which can be observed through Jonathon's eyes. Don't expect level-up screens, or statistics, or indeed numbers much at all, beyond those the inhabitants of the world itself apply to understanding their own reality. It pretty much doesn't matter to the story, I mention it so those who don't want to read LitRPG at all can successfully avoid it here. I don't have any particular plan here, just some ideas inherent in the genre. This is a character concept I toyed with some years ago; an old man, bright of mind but weighed down into apathy, both by his past and his responsibilities for a terrible estate that cannot be left without stewardship. Don't expect any kind of overarching plot or story, because that's really not what this is about. Also don't expect much dialogue. Or character development. Or much of anything, really, because I've planned nothing in the way of an actual book, here. Other relevant information, if you've read this far for some reason: The MC isn't super-powerful to begin with, and probably never will be. He's a veteran with some useful skills, and the insight on how to use them, so can deal with the world's ordinary threats reasonably well, but not too much beyond that. --- Currently on hiatus, as currently the story has a rather poor ratio of effort-to-personal-payoff. I may return to this once I have a clear idea of how to get the stories where I want them. I've started a more standard LitRPG using the same system. But if you like intelligence characters who cleverly min-max their classes, it probably isn't the story for you; it's the story of a rather ordinary guy who winds up in a very similar universe.

Patchwork System
Notification (cannot be ignored): For being the first being to kill another of its own species after Sublimation, Lyam Aldren is awarded the Title of Cain’s Successor. Let all fear the Kinslayer!!! Lyam Aldren, killer for hire, was just going about his business when he suddenly received a notification from something called the System. Apparently, the entirety of Earth, its denizens and its matter were transported into the world of the System, planted in 'patches' all throughout the infinite world. The world of the Patchwork System is one of challenges, where life is cheap, power is king, and Classes and levels are a thing. In a brutal world, there is perhaps room for a killer with bloodstained hands to find his own way, free of his past. However, his Title and his inherent nature plague him, his fragmented personality laid bare to those with the eyes to see, and if he doesn't become powerful enough to defeat or escape those who would use or destroy him, he will quickly be devoured by the merciless world created by the System. Compared to my previous work, this is a more 'classic' litrpg setup, with clear (if somewhat complex) progression through levels and skill gains, with a 'system apocalypse' setup. Unlike most system apocalypse story protagonists, Lyam is neither a leader nor is he particularly interested in saving his fellow Earthlings. This is a story of a man who is both endangered and set free by the destruction of his old world, as he finds both power, new discoveries, and adventure in a place where his past matters not at all and power is the only language most speak. Later in the story, there will be harem elements, but the first volume is dedicated to Lyam's first months in the System. For those who are more interested in the Heirs of the Hooded King, I am putting it on hiatus as I rework the setting and future story developments a bit.
