Hidden Wife : Best Husband Chapter 172

Dae Hyun then called Doctor Kang.
"Why didn't it answer for so long!" Dae Hyun cursed with great annoyance. He had to call Doctor Kang to come to his villa.
After a few minutes the call was answered.
"Why did it take so long to answer?" Dae Hyun shouted, who was impatient so he immediately became angry when the line was connected.
"What is going on?" Doctor Kang asked while moving the cell phone away from his ear.
"Right now you come to my house. My wife is sick right now," Dae Hyun said in a cold tone.
"Which is your wife? I still have a patient today," Doctor Kang said.
"Anyway right now you have to come to Pyeongchang-dong Villa! I don't care about your patient!" Dae Hyun shouted.
"But…."
Dae Hyun unilaterally turned off the phone because there was no time. He hurriedly turned off his laptop, then put it in his bag.
"Did something happen to Miss Soo Yin, sir?" Chang Yuan asked. He could already guess that his boss must be worried about his young wife.
"I don't know, Aunt Xia said she was sick. Even though last night she was fine." Dae Hyun rubbed his face in a huff.
"If someone is looking for me, say I'm out of town," Dae Hyun said.
"Yes, sir," Chang Yuan said.
Dae Hyun immediately stepped out with wide strides. Just closed the door he had already met his brother there.
"Hyeong, I thought you weren't home yet," Park Soo Hyun said, who was a little surprised to see that his brother was already in his room.
"Please take care of everything with Assistant Chang," Dae Hyun said, who immediately stepped away from Park Soo Hyun because there was no more time to explain everything. What was on his mind right now was only Soo Yin.

"Where are you going?" Park Soo Hyun exclaimed but Dae Hyun had already gotten into the elevator so he wouldn't hear him.
"Geez, why does he seem in such a hurry?" Park Soo Hyun muttered but immediately ignored his curiosity. It sure didn't matter to him.
Park Soo Hyun, who was at the door poking his head into the room, turned out that there was still Chang Yuan there so he stepped into the room.
"Assistant Chang, where is my brother actually going? Why does he seem in such a hurry?" Park Soo Hyun asked while knitting his eyebrows.
"Mr. Dae Hyun is about to go out of town again," Chang Yuan said, who had already stood up holding his laptop. Having no boss made his work pile up even more because Dae Hyun always delegated his work to Chang Yuan when he was busy with other matters.
"Out of town again? Didn't he just come back?" Park Soo Hyun was quite surprised to hear that because his brother hadn't even set foot in UN Village yet. Even though Jo Yeon Ho kept asking when his father will coming home.
In a few days, Jo Yeon Ho's school would holding a graduation ceremony which his parents must attend. The child really hoped that his parents can attend like the other friends.
"That's all Mr. Dae Hyun had said," Chang Yuan said simply.
"Then, didn't Soo Yin come in today?" Park Soo Hyun asked as he looked at the table Soo Yin occupied was still neat as before. It's been a week since he hasn't seen his idol.
"Looks like Miss Soo Yin is still busy with her studies," Chang Yuan lied. There was no way he could tell the truth if Soo Yin was sick.

"Too bad," Park Soo Hyun muttered. Looked like he has to delay a few more days until Soo Yin came back to work because he didn't want to bother Soo Yin.
"Excuse me, sir, I have a lot of work to do," Chang Yuan said, who withdrew to return to his office.
Park Soo Hyun nodded his head approving Chang Yuan to leave. Before leaving, Park Soo Hyun approached Soo Yin's desk first. He stretched out his hand to pick up a small frame containing a photo of Soo Yin. In the photo she was smiling so sweetly. Without thinking Park Soo Hyun took a picture using his cellphone then made it the wallpaper on his cellphone.
"Turns out you are really cute," Park Soo Hyun muttered while kissing his cellphone screen over and over.
================================
Dae Hyun was now on his way to Pyeongchang-dong Villa. He drove his car like a person who was possessed. Every time there was a red light, he would always hit the steering wheel because he was very upset.
In fact, several times he almost collided with other drivers. Luckily nothing happened because luck was still on his side.
Dae Hyun was very worried about Soo Yin. While driving Dae Hyun called Aunt Xia again but she didn't answer. He also tried to call Soo Yin's cellphone but the results were the same.
"Honey, hold on. I'll be there soon," Dae Hyun said.
The man seemed to have lost his mind and was driving the car at full speed.
As soon as he reached the courtyard of the Pyeongchang-dong villa, Dae Hyun immediately stopped the car. With half running steps he entered the house. He immediately opened the room door to see Soo Yin's current state.
Dae Hyun pushed against the bedroom door so hard, it startled Soo Yin and Auntie Xia. They immediately looked at Dae Hyun.
Now Soo Yin was leaning on the side of the bed accompanied by Aunt Xia who was massaging her legs. Actually she had forbidden Auntie Xia not to contact her husband, but the middle-aged woman didn't listen to her.
Now Soo Yin's stomach didn't hurt anymore.
"Honey, what happened to you?" Dae Hyun sat on the side of his bed and then gripped Soo Yin's fingers tightly.
"I'm fine, I just had a little stomach ache," Soo Yin said with a smile. She didn't want to make her husband worry about her at all.
"Auntie, where is Doctor Kang?" Dae Hyun asked as he looked at Aunt Xia, who was now standing.
"Doctor Kang isn't here yet, sir," Auntie Xia said.

Many Minded
Synopsis: Issa Pyxis, Spacer orphan and illegal heretic, graduated from living on the streets to running with a gang years ago, but now it looks like that’s all going to change. Her inheritance, more specifically who—or what—she is, is catching up with her, and on a planet with the Emperor’s inquisitors slinking around in every shadow, nowhere is safe and no one can be trusted. What will she do? A cyberpunk story about identity, loneliness, covert infiltration, evil dystopias, and much more! Features: - Cyborgs and cyberpunk galore - This is indented to be somewhat “rational” and “hard” Sci-Fi story - Original Fiction however parts of my worldbuilding are inspired by other Sci-Fi stories (duh) Rationale: The future is cool, AIs are kickass, and questions about consciousness are simultaneously existential and yet unanswered. To me, this story is a vehicle for exploring these topics, and also, I wanted to write a story where the protagonist was unafraid of themselves and where their self is more like a git-repo than a meat computer. Disclaimer: This story primarily takes place in what we’d describe as a “cyberpunk dystopia” with some extra technocracy, autocracy, and religious fervor thrown into the mix, so there will be some “grittiness” in this story. Caveat emptor. Also, [insert your favorite boilerplate “views expressed” disclaimer here]. I shouldn’t need to say this, but the main character and other characters in my story can be wrong on occasion (gasp!) and the way they view the world isn’t always objective truth (if such a thing even exists) nor do their views and opinions necessarily reflect the views of me, the author. Drakon the Necrolord v2
Rewrite of my novel Drakon the Necrolord. 100 thousand years ago the system apocalypse began and all of the known worlds with sentient life in the universe got merged together forming a super planet. Orcs elves humans dwarves and hundreds of other species now living on one planet. These are the memoirs of one of them. Written with the help of the AI in his head and a little help from his friends. As a note: I have tons of worldbuilding done (probably way more than needed, as that was why the rewrites took so long. Depending on the reception here I might do more stories in the same universe and/or build a wiki with all my worldbuilding stuff.
