"I'm sure mom will not be angry. She would agree if she knew about our relationship as if she wanted to marry you to Park Soo Hyun," Dae Hyun said with full hope that his wife would return to normal. He promised not to do stupid things again.
"Didn't you also promise to survive for the sake of our future baby?" he continued. Dae Hyun would rather look at Soo Yin with a sullen face than to look at her flat and expressionless like that. It wasn't like Soo Yin he had known all along.
"Can not a promise be broken?" Soo Yin said.
"Honey, what should I do to make you forgive my mistakes?" Dae Hyun rubbed his face in a huff. He didn't know what else to do so that Soo Yin will forgive him like before.
"You don't have to do anything. I just need time to be alone," Soo Yin said. She wanted to calm her mind first.
"Fine, if that's what you want. But stay in the villa so I can feel calm," Dae Hyun asked. Knowing where Soo Yin's whereabouts made him calmer at work.
Soo Yin nodded her head, agreeing to Dae Hyun's request. Besides, she also didn't know where she was going to live.
After escorting Soo Yin back to the villa, Dae Hyun stayed at the hotel as he planned. For the time being let him not to meet his wife. The most important thing was he knew if she was okay. There were Aunt Xia and Chung Ho who will take care of her.
================================
Almost half a month Soo Yin didn't see Dae Hyun. No phone calls or text messages, just as she wanted. Soo Yin did ask Dae Hyun not to call her for a while because when she was ready, she would call first.

Now she was sitting under a pine tree in the backyard of the villa. Every afternoon Soo Yin was always there with Aunt Xia who faithfully accompanied her. There was a place to reflect on how to plan for the future. Her stomach was also slightly protruding, though not yet visible. But Soo Yin can felt that the shape of her stomach had started to change.
Auntie Xia, who accompanied her every day, felt that there was Soo Yin's deep longing for Dae Hyun. With no feeling of boredom, the middle-aged woman asked how Soo Yin felt every day. But Soo Yin's eyes couldn't hide the longing, even though she always firmly refused to admit her feelings.
"Miss, don't you miss Mr. Dae Hyun?" Aunt Xia asked courageously. It was a few days ago that Soo Yin answered with a no. Maybe today she had changed her mind.
Soo Yin sighed softly. Her eyes wandered deep into the green trees that looked far away in the mountains. It can't be denied, she even missed him when Dae Hyun allowed her to calm down. But her heart refused to admit it.
"Auntie, does he still want me?" Soo Yin said softly. The face that had always been cheerful for the past few days turned gloomy.
"Of course, Mr. Dae Hyun will want and always love you," Aunt Xia said as she brushed Soo Yin's long hair from behind.
"What if he's tired of all my bad attitudes?"
"That's not true, master will always love you. If not, how could master almost every hour wanted to know about your news," Aunt Xia said with a smile.
Soo Yin turned her head with a frown.
"What do you mean, Auntie?" Soo Yin asked.
Auntie Xia immediately reached into the cell phone from her pants pocket. Then handed it over to Soo Yin. There was proof that what Soo Yin was worried about wasn't true. She deliberately did not delete all of his messages to serve as evidence.

Soo Yin read so many messages that have entered Aunt Xia's cellphone. She smiled to herself, how did Dae Hyun ask her to Aunt Xia almost every hour. Although he was a very busy man but why bother like this.
"Miss, do you believe what Auntie said?" Aunt Xia said with a smile when she saw Soo Yin's face glowing.
"Should I hold on, Auntie?" Soo Yin asked, wanting to ask for her opinion so that her heart would become stronger and not be swayed by the obstacles that might be bigger in her way.
"Of course, auntie also wants Miss and Master to be a happy family one day," Aunt Xia said. As much as possible she will make Soo Yin's confidence came back to normal.
Suddenly Soo Yin remembered what an old woman said when they went to Busan. The woman said her relationship would be like the Edelweiss flower.
"Auntie, what is the meaning of the edelweiss flower's love symbol?" Soo Yin asked, she was so curious. At that time she didn't have time to ask about it.
Aunt Xia thought for a moment before answering her.
"The edelweiss flower is a flower that only grows on a mountain with a height of 2,000 feet. It is a symbol of the eternity of love. This plant is often referred to as a symbol of love, sacrifice, sincerity and immortality. Why did you suddenly ask this?" Auntie Xia said after giving a little explanation.
"No, I just want to know," Soo Yin said. Was it true that one day her love for Dae Hyun will be as beautiful as the Edelweiss flower? Did it have to be so many sacrifices to face first?
"Auntie believes your love will last," Aunt Xia said.
Soo Yin smiled faintly at that. Did their love journey really have to go through the arduous twists of life to achieve eternal love. Didn't know, Soo Yin now didn't want to think about it.
After her heart and mind calmed down and received an explanation from Aunt Xia, Soo Yin had decided to stay put no matter what. It was too late for her to back down. Despite the many obstacles, with determination she would not be this fragile. She had to fight for Dae Hyun for the child she was carrying. When the baby grew up, she didn't want her child to have the same fate as her.

Small Chests Are Fine Too
It is an undeniable fact that good things come in small packages. More often than not, it is necessary to trim the fat in order to bring what really matters to the forefront. Having extra bulk may seem like a good idea, but in reality it is merely a crutch that will one day become a hindrance, as it is no substitute for personality nor ability. Indeed, often times it is the small things in life that brighten up our daily lives and constantly remind us exactly why we do the things we do. However, it is important to keep an open mind, for while bigger is not always better, there are also times when it is. This holds especially true when it comes to hopes and dreams, which have been known to require a suitably large container from time to time. And while dreaming big could potentially lead to massive dissapointment, one will never truly reach fulfilment if they think too small. A truth that one small woman with meager aspirations is about to find out. DISCLAIMER: This is a spin-off/side story of my main series, Everybody Loves Large Chests, which is also mandatory reading to understand this one. It runs parallel to the main plot, branching off from the chapter titled Upheaval 2, so there will be spoilers for anyone who hasn't reached that point.
