"Mom, don't contact anyone first," Aeri said, while grabbing her cell phone from Sun Book's hand.
"Why are you so strange. Your in-laws should have come here to visit and take care of you," Sun Book said in a rising voice while raising an eyebrow.
"Mom, I want to abort this fetus," Aeri said with a pleading look.
"What do you mean?" Sun Book said as she glared at Aeri. Didn't understand with what her daughter was thinking.
"Mom, Dae Hyun seems to realize that this fetus is not his child. If I keep it, I will get caught," Aeri said nervously and then bit her lower lip.
"He wouldn't know. You could fake the DNA results," Sun Book said.
"No way, Mom. Dae Hyun is not that stupid now."
"Then, if you intend to abort it. Won't they suspect?" Sun Book asked.
"I can say it all happened because of the accident that happened to me today. Besides, Dae Hyun is out of town. Now, find a gynecologist who is willing to help me, Mom. There's not much time," Aeri said as she pushed her mother's body away.
"But it's very risky," Sun Book said anxiously.
"No need to worry, I'm sure I'll be fine. Now meet the gynecologist at this hospital. Pay as much as they want," Aeri said.
"All right, whatever."
Sun Book was forced to follow Aeri's orders to secretly find a gynecologist at the hospital. Too bad they didn't want to handle abortion.
Sun Book finally looked for another clinic that was willing to help Aeri to abort her fetus. After finding it, Sun Book immediately took Aeri out of the hospital to an abortion clinic which was not far from the hospital. They left secretly so as not to be caught by the hospital employees.

UN village.
Mrs. Park and Jo Yeon Ho just got home in the afternoon. Jo Yeon Ho looked very happy right now. Finally, his desire to go for a walk was materialized, made Mrs. Park happy too.
They threw themselves on the sofa to relieve fatigue after traveling all day.
"Are you very happy?" Mrs. Park asked while stroking her favorite grandson's hair.
Jo Yeon Ho nodded his head enthusiastically and his face was lit up. Even though he couldn't go to a vacation with his father yet, today his grandmother was enough to make him happy.
Mrs. Park's cell phone suddenly rang. The woman immediately took it from the bag. Her forehead frowned when she saw the name who was calling. It was rare for Sun Book to contact her. Mrs. Park immediately answered, perhaps there was something important.
"Mrs. Park, can you come to the hospital right now?" Sun Book said from across the phone.
"Who's sick?" Mrs. Park immediately stood up.
"Aeri… Aeri just got into an accident," Sun Book said while sobbing.
"Isn't Aeri in her room?" Mrs. Park did not really believe that Aeri had an accident because when she said goodbye, Aeri said that she would not go anywhere.
"Aeri had an accident on the way to see me," Sun Book said while continuing to sob.
"All right, tell me where you are now?" Mrs. Park said.
"We're at Hallym University Medical Center," Sun Book said.
Without asking about Aeri's condition first, Mrs. Park immediately turned off her telephone connection. She asked Jo Yeon Ho to change his clothes first. Initially, she didn't intend to bring Jo Yeon Ho but the child kept on whining and asking to come along. He was also worried about his mother's current condition.

Hallym University Medical Center,
Sun Book had brought Aeri back to the first hospital they visited after leaving the abortion clinic. Luckily the abortion went well even though Aeri had been bleeding for a while.
"Will my mother-in-law come here?" Aeri asked to Sun Book after finding out that her mother had made a call.
"Of course, you better be prepared to look sad and devastated. You just lost your baby. Act right, don't let your mother-in-law get suspicious," Sun Book said. Reminded Aeri to put on a sad face instead of a happy face.
"Calm down, Mom. I'll do it right," Aeri said as she pursed her lips.

Not long after that, Mrs. Park arrived at the hospital while holding Jo Yeon Ho's hand. The look on her face showed that she was very worried. With quick steps, they immediately went to the room that Sun Book had told her where Aeri was being treated.
Check ...
Mrs. Park immediately opened the door. Her eyes were immediately fixed on Aeri who was lying on the bed in a tilted position. There was no Sun Book in sight.
"Aeri, how are you?" Mrs. Park said while shifting the seat beside the bed. Set Jo Yeon Ho there.
Hearing her mother-in-law's voice, Aeri immediately turned around while sobbing. Then tried to sit back on the side of the bed.
"Mother, I'm sorry," Aeri said while holding Mrs. Park's hand. Tears slowly flowed from the corners of her eyes.
"Sorry?" Mrs. Park frowned to hear Aeri apologize.
"I… I can't take care of my future child, Mom. I've lost it now. I… I can't give a grandchild to you." Aeri bursted into tears and then hugged her mother-in-law's body tightly. Her tears spilled over Mrs. Park's shoulders.
Mrs. Park unmoved in her place, tried to digest what Aeri said. Her hand reached out to return her daughter-in-law's hug and then rubbed Aeri's back to calm her down.
Even though her son wanted a divorce from Aeri, Mrs. Park still couldn't bear to see her cry like that. Before the divorce took place, she would still treat Aeri as her daughter-in-law.
"What exactly happened?" Mrs. Park asked after Aeri had started to stop crying.
"I lost my child in an accident earlier, Mom. What should I do now? Maybe he left knowing that his father didn't want him." Aeri continued to sob while covering her face with both hands.

Synergy
Dear Inspector, Please accept this letter as my formal resignation from being a Player. Hey! Laugh all you want, but I had to try. With no rules down here, who's to say that I can't resign? Anyway, my reasons are simple: I'm neither a gamer nor a hero. You got the wrong person for the job. Sure, the pay is decent and I could pretty much live like a king if, you know, I wasn't so busy trying to survive. I have major concerns about the demonic dagger bound to my soul too. Come to think of it, I've never asked to be transported to this fantasy land either and would like you to return me home, thank you very much. I don't want supernatural powers, I don't want to complete quests after quests, and I don't want to be your test subject anymore. What? I'm not whining, you're whining. Stop making excuses and let me leave already. Thank you for your understanding, and I hope you'll find a better replacement after I'm gone for good. Sincerely,Randel, the Mad Painter What to expect from Synergy: --> Some GameLit elements are presented subversively. If you want the protagonist to “play the game” properly, this might not be the story for you.--> No filler chapters; the story's structure is already plotted out. It's going to have six story arcs.--> Character development happens slowly, over many chapters. Don't expect a perfect protagonist right off the bat.--> Some romance, but it will never be the main focus.--> Humor and dark elements in equal measure, but not to the extent that I’d label this story as “Comedy” or “Grimdark”. ... and lots and lots of Author's Notes. See you on the other side of the portal!

Advent of the Mindfire Mage: A Challenger's Return Story
Updates MWF, 6PM EST! Not so long ago, a story was posted on Webnovel, one that fired my imagination unlike almost anything before or since. It was known as The Challenger's Return: Rebirth of the Rainbow Mage. However, 150 chapters in, the author NightWind, who I'd personally interacted with and begun to consider a true friend, vanished from the internet without a trace. And so, I have acted upon my fervent desire to pick up his torch, to refuse to let his world that stirred such passion in me die. Read below about my own take on The Challenger's Return. Was Lheticus summoned to the Tower by chance, or by choice? Either way, with the new power he wins, he won't hesitate to burn anyone who seeks to keep him from his true love to cinders, and with a unique ability of the highest potential, he may just succeed, but he's just as likely to burn himself down. And as it turns out, the latter case may be woven into his very destiny...can that destiny be changed? And if it is, what will be the repercussions for the Tower? (You may want to read a fair amount of the original Challenger's Return before starting this, as, particularly in the early chapters, many things that are laid out in it are glossed over in this story.)

There is no need for erecting walls, as the biggest divide created by humanity - that of social class - takes care of a post modern segregation. The poor are literally marginalized into slum-like townships and tend to be of color. The names of these townships would be enough to tell you their story. The rich, well, remain happily oblivious in the big American cities. In this world find a mysterious girl whose identity must be hidden or she would be hunted down and a young street actor who falls for her intrigue. Discover how they survive, born into a society not prepared to give them a chance. For them, the dystopia came without an apocalypse.
