Rebirth Of The Queen Chapter 15

A while had passed, no matter how many hours it had been, Elder You was still standing there waiting anxiously.
Suddenly the sound of footsteps came from outside the room. A man wearing a maroon robe stepped into the hall. His stern face, had such a sturdy jaw, carved a nose and eyebrows that were almost flawless, his gray hair and matching beaded eyes were cold and untouchable.
He was the ruling Lord of this world, someone both respected and feared at the same time. He is also the last descendant of the demon nation, a nation whose blood flows the power of all creatures. Lord 'Gu Yie' once all beings know his name.
It seemed that Bai Xue's bodyguard was following behind him. A little story about him, that after the events of 700 years ago, when he actually lost the person he loved so much, Queen 'Yu Yi', a figure who previously had a warm attitude and high tolerance towards all beings, suddenly turned cold and cruel.
From then on, every mistake the slightest would have a tragic end. The man who used to be greatly admired and respected turned into a man who was respected and feared.
"Your servant greets your Majesty," said Elder You, bowing to salute someone who had filled the empty throne before.
"Say it!" a cold voice reached Elder You's ears, only one word and it had already managed to make him break out into a cold sweat and tremble. The oppressive aura emanating from Lord Gu made it difficult for his body to breathe.
"Your servant answers, allow this humble servant to tell you a few things first, but before that, your servant asks for a noble forgiveness in order to forgive us for what we did without the noble knowledge," said Elder You with one breath. He had given up on having to accept Lord Gu's wrath over something he was about to say.

The man he was talking to only raised an eyebrow, stared lazily, there was no desire to respond.
"Back to that time, 700 years ago ..." said Elder You began, stammering a little. Lowered his voice, hoping that at this time no one could hear him but at the same time, he also hoped that Lord Gu would hear it.
He knew very well that what he was going to say was something very sensitive to the ruler. It was evident that, just saying a few words, an oppressive aura suddenly emerged from the ruler's body, making it difficult for him to breathe, and even now he was vomiting out a mouthful of blood. Elder You had completely resigned, he returned to trying to continue what he wanted to say without any unnecessary movements such as cleaning the blood stain on his mouth.
"After what the queen has done, all beings become offendedthe sacrifice she made left a feeling of tightness in the hearts of all beings. The black magicians who have also disappeared since then always make us uneasy and think that it is not impossible that one day they will appear. Feelings of restlessness and guilt have haunted us ever since. That feeling led all of us to create an object capable of detecting the life energy of those black magicians, just in case they came back, we could prepare and take revenge. However, that crystal ball-shaped object recently suddenly detected an enormous amount of energy and made the crystal ball explode due to our lack of preparation. That life energy was very different from that of black magicians in the past. We consider that reporting it to your majesty is the right thing to do, because apart from your majesty and the queen, no one else has that much energy, "Elder You explained at length, then heaved a sigh of relief at the slight oppressive aura that surrounded his bodyreduced.

When he felt his breathing that had gotten a little loose, Elder You continued.
"If your Majesty has an order, your servant has gathered several men to carry it out."
Lord Gu who was listening to all of them only moved one hand to support his chin. silence expressionless. A faint glint appeared in his eyes. A flash that no creature could detect. He was silent in his position for a long time, no one knew what he was thinking.
Elder You who didn't get any response was already drenched in cold sweat that continued to flow down his body.
"Where is it?" Suddenly a cold voice reached Elder You's ears, making the old man feel as if a grim reaper was stroking the nape of his neck.
"Your servant replied, that energy comes from the glorious forbidden forest" replied Elder You.
When he heard the name of the forbidden forest mentioned, Bai Xue's bodyguard who was only silent and stood a few steps away from Lord Gu couldn't hide him shock, suddenly remembering the human girl they helped that night. And Bai Xue's little reaction didn't go unnoticed by Lord Gu.
"Bai Xue!"
Hearing her name, made Bai Xue's bodyguard kneel at once.
"Your subordinate is here, noble,"
"Explain!" Bai Xue had already guessed that the slight reaction of his body had previously been seen by Lord Gu.
"What do you mean your highness? Your subordinates really can't understand."
"What happens in the forbidden forest while you guys are running errands? Did Elder You say have anything to do with Bai Mo's barely remaining life energy state?" asked Lord Gu
At such a question, Bai Xue panicked. He didn't know what kind of answer to give, there was no way he could say that they were helping a human.
If Bai Xue had a choice, he would rather dig into the ground and bury himself without having to answer the question.
"Your subordinates answered .. that night when Bai Mo and I had just finished a noble assignment, there was a slight conflict between us, causing us to fight and making me seriously injured, in the end Bai Mo healed me and drained his life energy," Bai Xue replied immediatelyfeels like a very smart person because he managed to find an excuse that just popped into his head. After this, he would really punish himself for daring to lie.
Lord Gu raised an eyebrow, the corner of his lips lifted, grinning.
"Bai Xue!"
"Servant here, noble."
"You, Elder You and his people immediately explore all areas of the forbidden forest, report to me if anything is strange," said Lord Gu giving orders, then releasing his aura forced all the creatures in the room to kneel on the floor at that moment. an extremely domineering and very sinister aura.
"And if you find a human, KILL!" he added, grinning.
Lord Gu wouldn't tolerate it if a human dared to step into the forbidden forest, just killing a few humans wouldn't disturb the balance of this world, right?
Ya....The existence of the human race plays a very important role in the balance of this world. That is why the human race is still around today. Even though some of them did something deviant, no one dared to eliminate that race, to eliminate one race, even if only the human race, the Fairy race or any other race would disturb the balance of the world.
So that the only thing they can do is hate the human race, because wiping out that race will not be possible.

Edge Cases (Book 1 Complete!)
Rare classes and powerful skills are helpful. Too bad the system doesn't seem built to handle them. What even are all these errors? Our team of outcasts and adventurers will have to rely on their trust - and the bane of all stories, healthy communication - just to survive, let alone understand what the system is doing. Because they're quickly realizing that it's doing something; to people, to monsters, and maybe even to the gods themselves. And their goal isn't just to survive; it's to make things better. It's a good thing they're not doing it alone. --- Edge Cases is an attempt to take the LitRPG genre and the overpowered MCs trope and write a story where numbers aren't everything. Sometimes it takes trust, support, and just a touch of being very, very clever. Expect a mix of action, slice-of-life, friendship, and ominous worldbuilding. Updates M-W-F at 6pm EST. Cover art by Alovck of Artstation, and typesetting by jessessey right here on RoyalRoad.

Dungeon Core Chat Room.
This is a slower-paced "experiment and dungeon building" web novel that tries to use the idea of peer-to-peer communication with Dungeon Cores instead of Dungeon to slave monster communication to break up the detailed dungeon building. Rank 1 description: (minimum met for system initialization...detailed description as follows) Each race was given a system by the gods to make up for their shortcomings and balance their place in this world. Humans: Abysmally bad at understanding and using magic unable to use more than the lowest of magic were given the "Skill System" magic in the form of premade skills with use, study, and mastery tied to experience. Elves: Intuitively understand magic and have long lives leading to vast knowledge and skill in their chosen fields. However, as a species, they have nearly zero sex drive and less than low fertility, so they were gifted the "World Tree System" with experience gained through the care of natural areas – gifting the chance of children to increase their numbers without dirty copulation. All “natural” or “wild” monsters are given an "Evolution system" designed around killing and consuming as many creatures as possible, slowly increasing strength and, at thresholds, allowing mutations to alter them multiple times. Dungeon cores are different. Unlike humans, they can see, manipulate and live off mana. Unlike Elves, they naturally crystallize after extended periods of time in high mana level areas. However, they cannot easily move or communicate and typically go insane without companionship. As a species other than the odd eccentric they are unimaginative. Brute forcing solutions without the drive to truly innovate. Thus they have been gifted with the "Dungeon Connection System" a magical version of the internet accessible by their peers that allows them to barter and sell: bait, traps, monsters, and knowledge, as well as entertain each other with “adventure streams” using exciting recorded battles and humorous reels of arrogant chumps biting off more than they can chew to often fatal effects. This is the casual story of a dungeon unluckily spawned far from potential adventurers forced to innovate beyond its peers to find its place in this world. Rank 2 Description: Justification. I've been on a dungeon core kick for months and while I love the genre – it's sparse with entries. Often the forced conflict gets repetitive and frantic solving of threats "power levels" the protagonist to god levels to progress the plot – taking away the nice steady progression fantasy I'm looking for. (Progression in this story is linked to how strong of monsters/traps/whatever he can create not his "level"...this is demonstrated by some of his newer monsters beating his older monsters not with discrete "this monster has 10 attack this one has 40") Additionally, the focus on 3rd parties with their drama takes away from the reason I’m reading dungeon core novels in the first place – I'm looking for magical crafting, experimentation and kingdom building – not defence from higher and higher levelled enemies looking to steal/destroy/control the MC. This novel is kind of just me writing the story I wish I could read. I like thinking about the experimentation that can be done in fantasy settings using 'mana' as an excuse to make up rules and try to keep them internally consistent. IE once I define how a rule works, I'm going to commit to keeping it – no breaking hard truths I've given when it's convenient, even if it backs me into a corner. Hopefully, that should make the story interesting to read even if it's SOL and less action-oriented. There will be problems to solve and a clear progression in strength (of created monsters and knowledge) however due to not wanting to force conflict for the sake of conflict the general theme will be closer to slice of life with few action sequences and no overarching goal so please keep that in mind when picking this up as the genre is not for everyone. Finally, I have a clear goal of what I want from this story (not an endless romp but a series of arcs and then a conclusion that's a couple of dozen medium-sized chapters long) I want to commit to finishing it or at least bringing it to a point of rest. I hate all the engaging stories that stop with a “hiatus” indefinitely so in the event I lose motivation I'll work to end this even if the ending becomes rushed/unsatisfying just to give a sense of closure. I’m planning on including several polls in terms of direction and taking feedback heavily into account if I get enough readers (but may choose to ignore it if it deviates too far from the direction I want to take this as in feedback like: “The MC needs a cartoonishly evil arch-enemy that wants to enslave him and force the mc to pump out magic items” or “the MC needs to make a body and learn teleportation then live with humans” will get shot down without consideration.)
