Thunderous sounds followed after Kiko slammed his sword onto the Mustang Spider's forehead. Almina and the other who also near the monster covered their faces using their arms.

Yman frowned, its not because his warning came late, but this idiot chose to disregard his warning.

A moment later...

Swoosh!

A steaming figure was sent flying back. All of them were staring at this figure with wide eyes.

"???"

"Is that a bird?" Chloe subconsciously asked.

"It's a plane." Muttered by Bob.

"No, it's a human being!" Mai screamed seeing the smoking figure flew away from the explosion.

Yman sighed, he was right. |What an idiot.| Yman muttered in his mind while staring at the body who passed by at him and was flying like a crashing plane. Then it landed on the ground with sounds effects of bouncing and rolling.

|Ugh, that might hurt a little...| With indifferent looks on his face, he whispered in his mind.

How could a boss-like monster like the Mustang Spider just display its weakness wide open? Of course, it was a trap! This Kiko was too reckless for rushing in without thinking. However, he was happy about what happened to this guy.

Yman already suspected it after seeing the Magic Cryst on the monster's forehead. Since, in the first place, Magic Cryst usually hid inside the monster's inner core. Yet, this monster displayed it on its forehead.

He was only not reading books about monsters on the Outerworld, he even experimenting with some of them. And he likes watching the soldier fighting with the monsters on the town walls. So his knowledge about Magic Cryst was fairly high.

Magic Cryst was formed from the accumulation of excess energies and combat experience in the monster's inner core. Which solidified through toughed battles.

That's why Magic Cryst had random effects or abilities. It could also be meant that this Magic Cryst was like their trophy for winning battle after battle.

But this idiot did not let him finished his words and suddenly rushed towards the monster.

What he heard was not a collision of two opposing forces. But a loud explosion of magical energies from Kiko's own Meteor Blast. His attack triggered the monster's passive skill, which would activate once the attacker hit the Magic Cryst on its forehead. It sent back the attack to the attackers. So the one who got injured by his own ability was no other than himself.

Although the bounce attacked was not 100% of its original strength. Still, that explosion of his own ability toasted him.

He doesn't really care about that person, but as a leader, he had the responsibility for their safety and for the success of this mission. But since he did warn that idiot and still did what he wants, then Yman could only wash his hands to what happened to him.

"Plan A!" Yman shouted. There was no time to be in a daze and they could not wait for some idiot to regain his bearings. They needed to kill the monster as fast as they could. Else, everyone's stamina would run out first.

When the rolling body stopped, "It was Kiko!"

The audience screamed after they identified the person. The audience at the distance was having ashen faces. Especially the girls. The person they admired was sent back like a charred lump of a tree branch. The brand new uniform of Middle Region Magic Academy that he was wearing was tattered all over.

His handsome face and well-combed blonde hair were in a mess.

He was having a shock expression on his face while trying to get up. His friends who were in the audience shouted for his name. While the other trainee shouted abusive words to the only person who did not do anything. Cursing him, and telling him 'gayman'. That he was afraid to fight. And he's the reason why Kiko was hurt.

Yman didn't know if where to hide so that no one would mind him. He was wondering why their idol's fault was thrown towards him. These people were just too unjust. In this era where strength and looks had a bigger impact on the masses, someone like him was not worth noticing. Yet, he was noticed by them. But in a very bad way.

A beautiful girl with ponytail lavender hair ran towards Kiko's side.

|See? Even in his embarrassing situation, there was still a beauty that would lend him a hand. How about if I was the one who hurt myself in the process of saving others? For sure I had only myself to blame. For sure no beauty would run to my side and reached me a hand.| In Yman's mind.

That was one of the unfairness of this era. Only strength and looks were mattered. In any case, he really doesn't care about other people. He only cared for his sister. In this world, there's only him and her.

Kiko for some reason could not hear the noise coming from his surrounding. His eardrum had been damaged by that loud explosion earlier. He doesn't even have any idea of what really happened. After he smashed his sword on the monster's forehead, to where the crystal object embedded, he was hit by an explosion.

'Wait, don't tell me...it was a trap and that frogman purposely said it to fool me! He already expected it that I would attack it! It was his fault after all! You damn frog! I will kill you!' Kiko thought while gritted his teeth and glints of hatred were visible in his eyes.

He glanced at Yman and saw that guy giving a command to others. The others resumed their attacks. They surrounded the monster like before.

He also saw Almina still focused on the fight with a serious and mad expression on her face. He thought that maybe she was mad because that monster hurt him.

Seeing Yman's casual behavior, Kiko was furious. Looks like, he was right thinking that this frogman really did fool him. Look, he was ordering the others to attack the monster but he said, 'do not hit the crystal.'

'Fuck! What is this?! Damn, his getting into my nerves! I will kill this frog! I will kill this frog! I will kill this frog!!' He was staring daggers at Yman's thin back while repeatedly thinking of killing him.

He reached on the sword hilt that laying beside him. But, "Hey, are you okay?" Kneeling beside Kiko, Kesha was calling at him. He noticed her and gawked for a second, he recognized her! She was the girl that always with Almina.

Although he was at the sorry state and looks haggard at the moment, he noticed that he still had 170 remaining health points.

His face twitched, he could not believe that he was fooled by that guy.

"Here take this." Kesha handed him a vial with red liquid in it. Everyone knows that it was a potion that enables them to regain back their health points and cured the wounds on their body.

When Kiko's hearing finally returned to normal, he heard the other trainees and even the instructors shouting him to get up. And asking if he was fine.

He felt a little embarrassed about what happened to him. And a smile suddenly surfaced in his mouth when an idea appeared in his mind.

He was staring at Yman's thin and unhealthy back that seemed like it would crumble with just a little smack.

Kiko strengthened himself and stood up once again. He took the vial handed to him by Kesha. Then thanks her after drinking it.

Kesha smiled sweetly. But his eyes not directed to her. It was directed to her best friend Almina.

Kiko sighed. He already embarrassed himself twice in front of Almina. What if, she was turned off of him. He must redeem himself. But first, he needed to punish this frog for fooling him.

Far behind them, Goki was shaking his head. He really did not believe that these youngsters could kill that monster. It was a C+ after all. Even him who was having a 10%(level 10) breakthrough in his limiter, did not wish to fight it alone. Yet, these youngsters asked to fight it. He shook his head once more and said, "They really had no idea how strong that monster." He mumbled.

The fight continued for several minutes. Everyone was having difficulty damaging it as time went by. Right now, they could only rely on Almina and the blonde girl to do the damage.

Yman felt relieved that this blonde beauty finally becomes more active firing her arrows.

Kiko also came back and slashed the monster as much as he could. Of all the trainees in their group. Yman believed that Kiko has the highest normal attack damage. And because of that, he could easily take the aggro of the monster.

The monster also became more aggressive and active. It was using his size to rummage its enemies. And sometimes spraying his web randomly. Which was very dangerous for them.

The smiling guy, finally using weapons. Although he was using different kinds of weapons and threw it to the monster. The monster tried to bump him. But he skillfully dodged its every attempt. Still in closed eyes. Yman had already stopped wondering how he could see in this state.

"Heyahhh!"

Bob used his bare hands to throw punches on the monster. Even though he had strengthening ability, but he was waiting for Yman's go signal. Chloe was rapidly firing the magic pistol in her hand. Raining magic bullets on the monster's body.

Suddenly, they noticed Kiko was running towards Yman, and since he had the monster's aggro, it followed him...

Yman narrowed his eyes. And a glint was visible in his eyes. His mouth leaked a smile. Then he shook his head.

"Hah, this idiot is really a fool." He sighed and muttered.
