The Mysterious Black Magician Chapter 180

"Aaah, I thought I'm a Gooner, hehe," they heard Crimson saying it while massaging his hands after they unlocked the anti-magic handcuff.
The people from the Student Council were gawking upon hearing him and thought 'how bad is the luck of this person to find himself in trouble on his first day!'
After he realized that the handcuff was prohibiting him from using his mana. Yman felt he needed to clear his name as soon as possible. If not, it would bring him trouble if his disguise would be canceled.
"What with that handcuff, Sir Leader?" He asked.
"....."
The Senior Leader did not expect he would ask about it.
"It is a special handcuff solely made to stall someone's mana usage," he heard his reply.
"So it's a special metal?" As expected, it was dangerous to him.
"No, the metal-- although sturdy and not easy to break, it isn't particularly the reason."
"Hm…" he could guess already that it was a spell inscribed in it with the addition of a compound array.
"I see…" he replied disinterestedly. But in his mind, "Damn! This handcuff is a bane of all magic users! No, even the whole place is a bane for all experts leaning in magic!' He grunted.
The people from the Department of Security said they're sorry for the trouble.
Yman grinned at the woman named Betty. "Fufu, it was a big sin to accuse someone. I hope the Senior Sister will be so kind with her words. Or perhaps, I will ask my mother to send thousands of Gold Rank adventurers to punish the Senior Sister. And maybe some of the Platinum Rank as well," he whispered but intentionally increased the volume of his voice for everyone to hear.

Rea gawked upon hearing his words. "This guy is so shameless to use my aunt's status…" she mumbled.
Cinde on the other hand doubted his words. 'Eh? Is he capable of that?' Though she heard from Ella that Crimson was an adventurer and that she was hiring him as her bodyguard. Aside from it, she didn't know anything else about him. 'Perhaps, he was just bluffing,' she thought.
"Eh--ehhh?" Betty stuttered. "P-P-Please forgive me!" She was flustered and was taken aback.
Yman grinned. "Aaaah! I can't forgive someone who fired the bullets before finding the faults…"
She couldn't believe he was still insisting, although she already said sorry. "S-Spare me…!"
"I can only spare the Senior Sister if she spent a meal with me!"
"A-A-A meal w-w-with you?" She said with a blank face.
"....."
"....."
Rea and Cinder were speechless. They wondered what happened, but isn't sorry is more than enough? Wait, is Crimson hitting on her? A meal? Could it be a….. DATE?!
Betty was a little older than them with long black hair that tied behind in a ponytail. A tall Encan woman and exuded an adult aura.
Well, Yman just wanted to extort money from her for the trouble she caused in the pub. A meal might be not enough. Maybe he needed to extort money from her also.
But no one knew Crimson's reason. Cinder lent a little closer to him and whispered to him. "Uhm, Crimson, if you want a meal, I don't mind spending a meal for you…"
Yman blinked his eyes. He wondered why this disaster bringer girl suddenly wanted to pay for a meal for him. Maybe she was feeling sorry for causing him trouble.
'Well a free meal is a good meal,' he thought, but he wanted to punish the Senior Sister.

Before Yman could open his mouth, "Ahem!" Rea purposely cleared his throat. "Senior Leader thank you for bringing him here." The leader glanced and nodded at her. "Uh, Senior Sister, no need to take his words seriously. He's just joking," said Ella while sending an eye to Crimson.
"What?!" He believed Rea misunderstood him. "No, I'm serious!" Crimson abruptly said. He saw Rea sneering at him and Cinde beside him was furrowing. He wondered what was there for them to show such faces. "Money is life…" he mumbled.
Yet,
"Crimson, come here!" Rea said to him. No, her voice was ordering him in an overbearing tone.
Yman, Cinder, and the others gawked.
Princess Liya felt Rea was acting out of herself. This is not the Rea she'd known all along.
"Haha," Hannah forced a laugh. "C-could it be…" she didn't want to finish her words as it wasn't proven right or wrong. Maybe she was overthinking it.
Yman stayed on his feet and sighed when the people from the Department of Security said their farewell.
Nonetheless, Jura and Nicholas seemed to find him a little bit familiar.
'Wait, could he be that person?!'
Jura exclaimed in mind.
Nicholas noticed the slight change in Jura's countenance. "Could it be him?" Although that time, he was wearing a hood. But it wasn't really difficult to recognize him.
Also, in addition to the Lupine girl, his claim that he was that person wasn't just a mindless one.
'Keke, you finally showed up! But wait… he's a cousin of Miss Ella?' Jura pondered. But soon he decided that it was more important to redeem himself.
He might as well get a favorable feeling from Ella if he defeated her cousin.
(Creak!)
The chair made a sudden noise and everyone turned their head towards the cause of it.
"You!"
Yman creased his forehead while his eyebrows curled upward. He wondered why the guy suddenly stood up and shouted while… he was facing him?!
He was puzzled and glanced around him. Maybe he wasn't particularly sneering at him.
Since the people from the Department of Security already left after saying they're sorry to him, there was only him and Cinder left standing to where Jura was sneering.
"Do you know him?" He asked Cinder.
"Eh?" She was taken aback and shook her head in haste. "No idea, wait! He's staring at you though," she replied.
"Mm, a weirdo…" he mumbled.
"Puffft…!" Crimson heard Cinder trying to hold her laughter.
Prince Damien squinted his eyes. "Heh… so she can laugh like that," he muttered after seeing the wolf-girl's giggle. He stared at the new guy. 'Hmm… I see so that guy must be the reason, huh. Fufu,' he thought.
Crimson stared back at Jura. "Uhm, are you speaking to me?" He asked him.
'This fool acting like he didn't know what he did!' Jura exclaimed inwardly.
Dots appeared on top of Crimson's head while waiting for his reply.
"What a creep…"
Cinder heard Crimson mumbled. "Ahaha..." she finally failed to hold her laughter. Her laughing voice reverberated inside the council room.
