The Mysterious Black Magician Chapter 198

Despite all the chaos that currently happening inside the Pavilion Lobby, Yman and the others were unaware of it.
Currently, he was locked in a staring contest with a stronger foe.
The dummy in front of him stood on its two feet even though it had the head of the fish.
"A humanoid Fish?" His first impression upon seeing it. He was surprised and doubted if there was truly a creature living in this world with such a form. Then again, there was even some deformed beast. So, what's the point of getting surprised with the addition of this one.
"Shokyo? Hmm…"
Yman made a thinking gesture. This sounds like a word from the J-country, he thought. But Yman knew that Sistela wasn't that.
His brows twitched for a little. The name she spoke rang a bell to him. He tried to recall where he heard it. But he could not recall; however, its form made him think of a certain creature.
"Could it be the evolved form of that cunning creature in the sea? The Bob-Head fish?!" He exclaimed.
He almost couldn't believe it.
It has the tiny hands and feet of a human. And it has a giant head. But it usually grabbed its victim's feet and dragged them in the deeper part of the water such as the ocean. It has strong arms especially underwater, its strength would increase greatly.
However, they usually stayed underwater. And never came on the surface.
Now it was standing on its two feet like a human. And its arms were long and slender. Though its head was still the same as the fish. But it looks more mature.
And he could faintly perceive a strong aura within it.
He grinned. Finally, a worthy opponent to test his new skill. What he meant was a new version of Almina's skill.
Yman felt weird at this enemy. It was standing in front of him without rushing mindlessly like the other monsters.
It was seemingly waiting for him to ready himself. It was surreal to be honest, from Yman's perspective.
His mouth extended to the opposite side. The second he took the initiative and rushed forward by kicking the floor so hard.
The room was fairly wide. It has a length of 150 square meters.

In Rea and Cinde's perspective, Yman's image was blurring as he moved. He was so quick.
Wielding the gladius sword in hand, he rushed forward to strike the enemy.
Ting!
A high-pitched noise resounded when Yman's gladius sword met the enemy's… fin? Eh?
The fish-head enemy summoned a sword fin on its forearm. It then used it to clash with his sword.
Sistela warned.
"Ok noted!" He muttered a reply.
Yman tried to push it using his bare strength, but the enemy did as well. The two of them then locked in the contest of strengths.
Creak! Cressssss!
Sparks were flying caused by the friction of their weapons gritting each other's edge.
He then brandished it in successive strikes. The enemy did not lose as it did as well what he did.
Ting! Ting! Ting!
Their weapons repeatedly collided. More sparks were flying in all directions as the result of their clashes.
Rea and Cinde were staring at it without blinking their eyes.
"U-unbelievable…" A mutter unintentionally escaped from Cinde's mouth.
Rea, on the contrary, was focused on the battle, even though she was having a hard time perceiving their movements.
She was watching them while knitting her brows. Yman noticed a stalemate was unavoidable in the current situation.
He focused his strength in his hand and made a sudden push. The enemy reacted by doing the same as him. It summoned its strength as well.
However, it wasn't what Yman wanted to do in the first place. When his muscle felt the reaction from the enemy, he purposely stepped back and intentionally retreated his sword and rescinded his strength.
Because of it, the enemy found himself moving along-side him. No, it was losing its balance.
Without letting go of the chance, he sent a kick to its stomach. It bore deep into the enemy's stomach and almost pop-out its eyes by the strength of the impact. The enemy was sent flying back with an explosive crash on the ground. Its body rolled several times before it went to a stop at the opposite side of the room.
"Heh!" Yman grinned. No doubt that it was a strong dummy, but a dummy was still a dummy.
No sense of thought. And since it was a dummy of a strong creature, it stood up once again. And he didn't notice a reasonable effect of his attack.

But he didn't bother by it. Though he used much strength in that attack.
Sistela exclaimed. She could not believe that it was still fine even after it received a kick from her partner.
After standing up, the boss dummy summoned little spheres around.
"Water spheres?" Yman squinted his eyes and stared at it in full alert.
Rea and Cinde were looking at the fight with a fixed gaze. They couldn't avert their eyes away from the battle.
The spheres glowed in bluish color before the boss tier fired.
Sistela warned him.
The little spheres were seemingly like meteor showers as they shot towards atm aa t speed that was hard to perceive.
At first, Yman was evading at it by using his speed. But after a couple of evading, one of the spheres had successfully greased his arm.
But he had no time for it as more and more water spheres were kept coming to him.
Rea frowned.
"Why, Ella?" Cinde asked her in puzzlement when she noticed her face after taking a glance at him.
"Those spheres are not ordinary. It can cause the poison to the enemy!" She said in a tone of worry.
"Do you mean….. Crimson is in danger?" Cinde prompted a question.
( Before Rea could say her reply…)
Bang!
They heard a loud explosion. The two of them simultaneously glanced at the cause.
Cinde exclaimed.
Rea and Cinde saw him standing in front of the boss tier dummy. The weirdest thing, the boss tier monster lost its arm!
"How did he…..'
They wondered what happened a moment ago. They lost their focus as they were conversing.
While their focus was away from the fight, Yman used the enemy's skill to push it into his trap.
When one of the spheres finally hit him, the boss was seemingly excited. Especially when it noticed he was wobbling. It charged at him within a second.
But instead of a weakened poisoned enemy, he was greeted by a sharp metallic object.
The grin on his face had become broader as he stared at the boss tier monster.
"Cinde, did you see what he did?" She asked the person beside her.
"Uh, sorry, I didn't notice," she replied.
Rea bit her lip.
The fight between Crimson and the boss was so fast-paced that if they didn't look for a second, they would lose a good moment.
The boss tier dummy immediately stepped back. And without waiting for the following upcoming from his enemy, it used its restoration magic to heal his cut-off arm.
Yman was surprised to see it. It seemed it also could heal itself. And restoration to boot! Such an op skill. Yeah!
The two of them engaged in a superfast exchange of attack once again.
The people in the Pavilion Lobby were very curious about what was going on in the fight against the boss and the person named The Mysterious!
Most of them were wearing an anxious face. Some were tapping their shoes on the tiled floor.
of the pavilion. The others were tapping their elbow with their index finger while in cross arms.
"Hey, what do you think is going with the fight of The Mysterious and the boss?"
Some people were repeatedly asking the same question to the person beside them.
On the other hand, the others were still looking forward to Lord Gregor's reaction when he found out that his sweet spot was taken by someone.
The spot on the top was so wholesome. It didn't only bring benefits to the person's departments, but also himself.
Rea and Cinde believe that if the room doesn't have a self-restoration system, it has already been destroyed. Because of how insane the fight was happening.
And they noticed the unwavering grin on Crimson's face.
"Ugh, look at him, he's showing that face when he's in a fight against that kind of enemy."
"Well, he was even fighting a strong berserk Boarman in the recent competition. And he did it in pure strength," Cinde said with a sigh.
The two girls were doubting if Crimson was a battle-freak.
"Right, if Crimson defeated the boss, the Little Garden department will surely get an earning…" suddenly said, Rea.
"Eh?"
