The Mysterious Black Magician Chapter 290

ZSSSSSSHHH!!!
BANG!
"!!"
"Eh?!?"
"What?!"
"What was that?"
After Instructor Goki signaled the start of the battle, Jugo's figure disappeared without a warning from his position. An air-reaping sound followed immediately; though it happened only in a brief moment before a loud impact took over and caused some inevitable utterance from the audience.
They also noticed a transparent barrier emerging, encasing the circle stage to form like a giant cylindrical tube with an estimated height of 50 meters high. And it had a size as big as the stage. It was only natural that it had the same size as the stage because it was built surrounding the stage edge.
For some reason, the barrier shook terribly. It was supposed to be an invisible barrier, however, whenever something or someone crashes onto it, the barrier will materialize and reveal its form. Just like now, the shield emerged which had been invisible the whole time. Likely, because someone had crashed into it.
No one had any idea of what happened in the first second because everything happened so fast that their eyes failed to follow the scene.
They only noticed that the moment the participant with a pair of wolf ears disappeared from his position, in just a second, they heard a thunderous impact. They had their eyes fixed to the stage. But, all of them gaped in puzzlement, and question marks were popping out on their heads along with confused expressions.
"Eh? What happened?" Asked a bewilder audience.
"Why did that wolf guy crash himself into the barrier?" Another one whispered a question.
Yet, no one could give them a proper answer as most of the audience was as confused as them.
It didn't take long when everyone realized that something funny had taken place, everyone burst into a guffaw.

Haha!
It started with a chuckle until it turned into guffaws.
HAHAHA!
"What the hell was that?!"
"Damn, is that supposed to be a joke?! It's funny!"
"Hey, hit your enemy and not yourself!"
The audience started jeering at Jugo.
"Look, his enemy was just standing in his position without moving an inch! Hahaha!"
"Damn! I like that innocent expression on his face!"
HAHAHA!
"How did it happen?" The blonde, Maena, asked.
"I don't know. I thought he was hit by that attack. Thankfully, he's fine," Almina replied. Maybe her prayer saved him.
"D-Did Yman bro manages to pull a Mega Lucky Card?!" Bob exclaimed.
"Idiot…" Kiko's grin a second ago froze upon seeing his hated person still standing in his current position. On the other hand, the demihuman had himself crashed into the barrier.
Even Rei-Rei and her friends could not understand.
"That's impossible…" Rei-Rei muttered.
"Miss Rei-Rei, did you notice what happened?" Sonya asked.
"No," Rei-Rei shook her head.
"Tsk, what did Jugo do? Did he want to embarrass himself that much?" Klein muttered after clicking his tongue.
They glanced at the person with a pair of bunny ears. All of them noticed him having a serious face. "Ban, did you notice what happened?" Rei-Rei asked.
Ban had heightened sensory ability. So everyone was seeking an answer from him. "I'm not certain, but. I saw Jugo charged straight on his enemy…" said Ban with a frown. He couldn't understand why Jugo's enemy wasn't hurt by his attack.
"So do you mean… the enemy evaded it?" Sonya was the one who asked this time.
Ban shrugged his shoulder as he could not explain. It was very quick that even his advanced sensory failed to perceive it.
Seeing that Yman was still fine, Principal Mar sighed in relief. But he realized that it was also bad for the image of elites to make a blunder of themselves

Most of the VIPs that were currently here were just normal humans only, so they also had no idea what just happened. It was funny though. That half-beast person crashed himself onto the wall. Some of them chuckled and shook their heads.
Everyone chuckled further when they heard Yman ask his opponent.
"Uh, are you okay? How's the barrier? Is it durable? Dang, that surprised me. I never thought that you have little trust in it. We can ask the referee to check it to make you comfortable," He asked in a worried and innocent tone.
Instructor Goki, who was standing near the stair, gawked in disbelief after hearing his words. Haha. This kid was as shameful as before. It was clear that he was making fun of his enemy's blunder.
Although most of the people who were currently watching had no idea what had just happened, it didn't skip at the eyes of the experts. Especially those with higher-level.
He noticed Yman's figure disappeared in a split second right before his enemy hit him. 'This kid. What kind of trick did he pull this time?' Goki thought. He could not explain how he did it.
The noisy jeering and laughter had slowly died down when they saw the person with wolf ears stood up and shook his head. Likely, a little bit dizzy.
"Dammit!" He mumbled. "Damn you! How did you do that?" He disregarded Yman's question and directly asked him.
"Eh? What do you mean?" Yman replied with a puzzled face.
In the audience, Rea sighed, she knew that Crimson was just fooling with his enemy. Beside her, although worried at her brother, Yana couldn't help but laugh at her brother's innocent face.
"Haha-haha!"
"Yana, is your brother always like that? A bully?
"Ha?" Yana immediately stopped laughing when she heard Rea's question.
Rea noticed Yana's face turned serious. "I-is something wrong?" She asked worriedly.
Yana noticed that she made Rea worried. "Ah no-no, sorry, Miss Rea. Uhm… actually… er…" she wasn't sure if to tell her or not that her brother was the one who was always bullied by others.
But since she felt that her brother trusted Miss Rea, she had the urge to tell her the truth.
"It's fine… you don't have to tell me. I wasn't serious with that question, anyway…" Rea added after noticing the skeptical Yana.
"The truth is my brother was the one who got bullied every time…" Yana decided to tell her.
This surprised Rea.
'That Crimson had become the subject of bullying?!'
She couldn't believe it. Who dares to bully that person?
"Uhm, Yana, you're joking, right?" She asked her.
"Nn," Yana shook her head gently. "My brother was born as a normal person. A person without mana."
Rea was stunned at Yana's words.

Hopeful Start
DROPPED: Decided to drop this one, I didn't properly think through a lot and as i started making chapters i found myself aiming for a word count and adding things or characters that i probably wouldn't use later, same with the system, i awas making it convoluted. Sorry! Transported to another world? Maybe to defeat the demon king or defeat a evil god! However for our protagonist he wasn't quite as lucky, working day in day out to pay off the debt his parents left him only to go home and get transported to another world where he is attacked by a unknown creature. Hello! This is my first time writing a story and i most likely won't do the best job at doing so. Some constructive feedback and tips would be fantastic.
