Chapter 66: Blue Eyes

"We have two ice statues. Risking for more is dangerous for us, so it's best if just two will go to the vault," Venomous turned her eyes away from Feng's Ice Sacrifice.

She felt like this ice statue winked at her which was disturbing. Her words also brought a small pain to Sandra's heart. Out of their party members, only she was kinda excluded.

The witch wasn't a close friend to Venomous and Michu also favored Yumi more! It was Venomous who found out about this place and she had the right to choose the second person!

Even if Sandra somehow got chosen, she wouldn't accept it nonetheless. In her heart, Sandra believed that Michu and Venomous did the most outstanding job! One found the clues while the other exuded extraordinary techniques and connections.

Both KongFu and Feng had played an important role in their Adventure Of The Impossible Quest!

If she had to compare herself to someone, then it would be Yakuzan!

"Um, Sandra..." Michu called her out, "Can you step aside?"

"Yes... I can." Sandra faintly smiled, but Michu's next words greatly shook her heart.

"Thank you! Haha! I don't know how to die, but I think there was a black magic button to kill oneself, right? A lot of people also set timers and log off, so I think I will do the same!" Michu laughed brightly as he stepped closer to the witch.

She honestly didn't understand him, "What do you mean, Michu?" With her disbelief spread on her face, Sandra asked.

To her shock, Michu nodded, "We don't know how to leave this place other than finding the vault! How can Yakuzan leave it?"

"Yakuza..." Sandra repeated as she fully understood Michu now.

"He is the resident of this world and our friend! But by no means he is connected to us in a contract or any black magic way! That's why I hope he will be the one to go with Venomous to the vault!" Michu spoke righteously, bringing a faint tear out of Yakuzan.

Yumi couldn't even refuse him, seeing both monkeys laughing at each other's faces. Her eyes turned to Sandra and looking at the witch, Yumi also smiled.

Her sadness faded and it became replaced by the warmth coming straight from the monke's heart! The witch felt like being just support once wasn't so bad! She could easily give up on the quest and relish the memories she had built up here.

"Yumi! Take this! It might help you, hehe!" Michu passed the red crystal to his princess.

Taking it wantonly, Venomous thanked the monke and looked over its information. It appeared the same as in the official shop, so it was no surprise.

It was a modified description by the player. The name was also probably simplified, so Venomous didn't think much of it. However, wasn't there an unexpected situation a few minutes ago?

The Red Crystal didn't light up!

'Feng... He must be in close ties with the player who had monopolized those,' It goes without saying that this player had made a fortune already with those crystals! Yumi threw it into her inventory, then saved it for the special occasion.

What she didn't know was that there were various red crystals on the market. The wrathful flames possessed the strongest might and were used solely for the offensive. The world had yet to be introduced by different red crystals, but that was all in the hands of the unknown player.

Michu giggled, "I know! Hehe!" He then turned his eyes to Yakuzan! "Have fun, Yakuzan! You could reach The Azure Lake, so you can reach the vault too! I believe in you!"

"Uhu!" Yakuzan nodded and punched the air a few times to reassure his friend!

The duo disappeared after Venomous and Yakuzan reached the vault's doors and used the sacrifices to enter inside.

KongFu shook his head, "The Phoenix Goddess! Oh please, bestow luck on this old god! Make this snake get the least rewards possible!" He then joined his hands in prayer, "Those snakes never have enough! The more they get, the more twisted they become!"

It went without saying that Michu and Sandra ignored this baby monkey.

"I found the button! See you soon, Sandra! Thanks for coming with us!" Michu spoke with his finger close to the 'death button'. As a reply, he got a relieved and beautiful smite out of the witch!

He deeply looked at her face, then lowered his eyes as Sandra didn't say anything. She stared at him without saying a word, so he didn't know what was going on within her, but her appearance exuded happiness and content.

"See you soon," Sandra finally parted her lips and waved her hand, "I will send you a nice video later on."

"Eh? Will I be cool?!" Michu asked, imagining his cool self! The witch disappeared faster than he'd asked, so he got no answer, but the expectations were raised!

The Ice Tomb's Vault!

"You are here," Yumi turned her eyes to the monkey gangster!

Yakuzan patted his biceps and nodded! He was from this world and no way he wouldn't be the chosen one as everything happening here was reality for him. He and Yumi strode through the vault, each looking out for something that would help them in the long run.

The vault was spacious with many pillars connecting to the ceiling and the ground. In between those, a lot of ice cubes floated! Each contained a powerful ice item that would help the players either become the ice-related class or simply turn them into ice's sworn brothers with its unique ice attributes.

Any player would be content with one of these, but Venomous grew closer with the Impossible Quest's challenges. She particularly had taken a great liking toward the Cold Time and she wanted to possess it in her grasp!

The origin of this power! What could it be? The Ancient Bloodline!

The question was what kind of bloodline it could be? Whose bloodline was it?

"Pterodactyl?" Yumi chuckled, remembering her prince's words. Her chuckle echoed through the vault, forming a pleasant melody!

But in the next second, this melody plummeted down and hit the ground heavily! The whole vault shook and at the very end, the darkness fog oozed out! It formed a pitch-black wall! Within this wall, the utmost coldness resided... For a second, Venomous felt like blue eyes looked over her and her whole body shivered from fear.

Yakuzan's instincts kicked in and he rushed behind despite his role being a tank! His whole eyes stretched out with fear and his trembling seemed infinite!

On the contrary, Yumi inhaled deeply and forcefully calmed herself. Her eyes narrowed and she said, "You are on your own now." She took a step forward toward the pitch darkness!

No one could just become special by finding the class! Many had gone through challenging quests that questioned the game's morals! Venomous couldn't care less about those, her goal clear within her.

Thus, her steps were unrestrained.

After Venomous disappeared in the darkness, Yakuzan's fear faded away, but his stupor remained for some time.
