I Will Be The Monkey God! Chapter 105

Chapter 105: I know taekwondo
The Conference carried on with many other guilds speaking about promising figures. However, no one dared to speak about Venomous as it was not worth it.
She was a promising figure, but her class was normal.
No one wanted to risk confrontation with High Heaven Guild due to her!
If she were to have a unique class, then some would've taken risks!
Thus, the conference was mostly about Zerze, Michu, Kaiser and even Kitty Blue!
Michu was a rather controversial figure after it became known that he and Venomous were a couple.
But it didn't stop people from talking about him.
After all, it was easy to 'divorce' or break up. It was also not clear how Michu would react after learning about Venomous' path from her father's words.
Many believed that he wasn't aware of his girlfriend's past and that she had been using him until now.
But the change happened in the conference after one man asked the question, "It was an accident, wasn't it?"
His words brought silence to the conference.
This was a known reporter who didn't give any fuck about anyone else and freely spoke what lied on his mind. He was hated by many high-profile people because he exposed their tricks and business systems.
His name was Hideo!
"I am speaking to you, Wei," Hideo called Yumi's father by his name. He gave no respect at all and continued with his speech, "I am late to this petty conference, because I have had to do some research about this stingy hypocrite right here."
"..." The crowd was silent and the conference's online chat just kept sending 'more'.
Hideo went all out, "You personally came here to speak about new promising players, but all you gave them was just one sentence. Even kid in elementary school would be able to write better praises than you, though."

More. More. More.
"But for your daughter, not only you exposed her past, but you also spoke negatively about her and even left a hint that she might be using another promising newbie with her charm. Don't you want her to start another life? Scared? The big boss of High Heaven Guild is scared of the newbie player?" Hideo shrugged and waited for some response.
Wei's face distorted and he glared at Hideo with his poisonous eyes, but to no avail.
The reporter's sneer kept widening as he anticipated Wei's response.
Yumi's father said, "She killed my daughter due to greed. Her greed knows no bounds and she will use everyone for her own gain. I must tell everyone about her now that she made a name for herself."
"Well, if there were no stairs in her house, she wouldn't have killed her sister." Hideo suddenly spoke and the chat went 'O' with emotes.
All they knew was that Venomous was the killer and the reason for her deed, but what exactly happened was omitted by her father.
Hideo exposed that, "Her house was her house. She and her sister lived together away from you, so why does it sound weird to me that she suddenly killed her sister? To say nothing that you were also in their house on this day? It sounds sus, dude."
Hideo rattled off, "Why didn't you separate them if they fought? What did you exactly do back then and why would you visit your daughters who allegedly didn't want to be with you?"
"Do I need a reason to visit my daughters? And why didn't I separate them? Everything happened too fast," Wei replied.
"Oh, you answer the most convenient questions as usual. You know, you are better off thinking just of money rather than doing conferences. Oh, what is it? The bodyguards? I know taekwondo, get it?" Hideo beckoned them to come closer with his words, then took out his phone, "Lastly, I want everyone to look at his daughter. Does it look like the face of someone who manipulates others? Even my wife didn't cry like that when I confessed to her, goddamnit." Hideo turned heels and waved back at everyone, then flashed a middle finger at Wei whose face twisted uglily.

His eyes let out the poison that would silence everyone related to this particular case! He scared people sitting next to him, then the news and many topics spread across the social media with people either being on Venomous or Wei's side.
A debate between users lasted for a week!

"Sister Miyuki~~ You have given me such a nice case to work on! I am going to probe into this guy and his daughter's case more. Though it will take a while after today's conference," Hideo smoked as he spoke through his phone.
An excited voice flowed out of his phone, "Keep him busy. I hate this dog too, because he banned every casino to his guild members. How can I leverage and steal all their money off them?" Miyuki complained while Michu's family eyed her with widened eyes.
He and Hideo were close buddies because they hated scheming that was so common in the wealthy houses and companies.
Even her casino openly said that you would lose a lot of money here, but if the casino were to just steal all money from its customers, it wouldn't flourish. She and her casino needed to reward some players and NPCs once in a while, so despite all her honesty, people continued to flood her casinos!
Hideo himself hated those hypocrites, so they were good buddies indeed!
He sneered and replied, "I think some people from his guild secretly play around in your casinos, though."
"They must hide well if that's the case. Not like they would tell this dog about money if they were to win something," Miyuki shrugged too, then their call ended a few minutes later.
In Michu's house, Kyotaro took the matter into his hands, "All of you should move to a safer area. I can lend you one of my apartments."
"B-But it's too much," Michu's mom responded instinctively.
Kyotaro smiled, "We don't know for how long this man can hold back. If he knows where all of you live, he might try... underhanded methods and leave no traces behind. I would feel really bad if that happened, so just for my conscience, you all should accept this offer."
"I can repay the savior a little!" Michu stood up and shared the information about his golden bananas.
Of course, it concerned Miyuki rather, so she spoke after her brother glanced at him, "Lil Monke has such outstanding class. Hmm, but rather than aiming for wealthy players, you should aim for commoners."
"Umm..."
"Of course, we can add your golden bananas to my casino, but you should start your own business. If such an outstanding skill is one of your main ones, then you should be able to decompose it and make a weaker version of golden banana."
"But why..." Michu asked.
While Nana began to realize what Miyuki meant, she turned her eyes to Venomous and whispered, "She knows what." But Yumi's face was just all smiling as she waited for Miyuki's idea.
Thus, Nana did the same and shifted her eyes to the beautiful businesswoman.

The Legion of Nothing
Nick Klein is your average high school geek--if you can still count as average when your grandfather is a retired superhero, and you've been trained in the martial arts by his friend, a mysterious, immortal mercenary. After his grandfather dies, Nick inherits the last version of the Rocket suit, powered armor that allows him to shrug off bullets, smash through walls, and manipulate sound. Along with it comes the base of his grandfather's superhero team including the team's jet and trophies from forty years of fighting criminals and aliens. Together, Nick and his friends, descendants of his grandfather's teammates, attempt to bring back a superhero team that was originally formed during World War 2. Along the way they'll face the normal problems of high school (bullies, homework, and dating), and the less normal problems like supervillians and mysteries leftover from their grandparents' past. As a story, it uses the conventions of all eras of comics from the 1940s on, ranging from serious to silly. If you're hoping for a grim and gritty story, this isn't it. The Legion of Nothing first debuted on my website legionofnothing.com in 2007. In that period it's updated more than 900 times, is still running, and has had millions of pageviews. The first two years have been released as an ebook, receiving good reviews on Amazon and Goodreads. I hope you'll enjoy it, and that you'll review it and comment. The London Phantom: A Superhero Webnovel
London is an old city. It has survived floods, fires, plagues and the man-made smog of industry. It has stood firm against the armies of Vikings, Saxons, Normans and the aerial might of the Luftwaffe. It has borne witness to dynsatic feuds, civil wars, military occupation and the sin of regicide. Through all these disasters the city has survived not through force of arms, though its walls were once the envy of the world, but through adapting to the times. Enemies become dependant on the city, and the wealth of the world that flows through it, and so become new allies. If the rulers change, then the city welcomes them with open arms, and open lines of credit. In this way the city seeks to preserve its ancient rights and position of power. Superheroes are a new phenomenon. The first superpowered man walked out of the Nevada desert in 1950, and the world was forever changed. Across the planet, men and women with exceptional abilities made themselves known. At first, they were little more than another source of fear in the era of Mutually Assured Destruction, but over time attitudes changed and the concept of the Superhero was created in the city of Los Angeles. From there the phenomenon spread across the globe; superheroes went from being feared arms of the state to a symbol of hope in these maddening times. Times have changed. Sixty years from the emergence of the first superhero, the City of London stands on a precipice. Two years have passed since the madman Fawkes nearly brought down the United Kingdom and the remnants of the Bow Street Runners, London's premier superhero team, are struggling to keep order in a city that seems on the brink of collapse. London stands on a knife's edge, with criminal organisations that once stuck to the shadows becoming more bold, and ancient powers from myth and legend making themselves known. Alexander Laszewski has recently 'awakened' and has become entirely unremakable, effectively making himself invisible to the world. He must use his newfound power to navigate a city on the edge of collapse. If only he could figure out how to turn it off.
