SD stepped out of the shower wearing nothing but a bathrobe. His chiseled body was glistening with water and his hair was dripping wet. Wiping his hair dry he looked at himself in the mirror. His own blue eyes stared back at him. He did not wear his usual smile.
Instead, his coldness was coming to the fore. The mischievousness was gone, replaced with the cold fury in his heart. In front of people, he pretended to be a dubious person but in private, he let his inner demons out. In fact, he never tamed his demons but rather became good at keeping them out of sight.
There was movement on his bed and a naked woman looked at him sleepily.
"Come back to bed," she yawned. The woman was in her late thirties with a curvy figure and dark curly hair. SD met her at a bar and they hooked up for the night.
"I don't spend the entire night with the women I hook up with," he said, lighting a cigar. "I'll call you a cab. You should go home."
The woman sat up, exposing her nakedness to him. They had gone on for hours and she wanted more but the heartless man was not interested in her.
"Just one more round," she begged. SD had moved towards the window and was staring at something outside.
"We can try a new position," she said in a suggestive tone.
"Sorry sweetheart," he said. "I have to attend to someone else."
"Who? Another hook up?"
SD turned to look at her with his lazy eyes. "No," he said. "Just someone I happen to know."

His cryptic tone confused the girl but she shrugged. Picking up her lingerie, shoes and dress from the floor, she put them on before heading for the front door.
As soon as she opened it, a tall, brown haired woman appeared behind it. Sunye, who had just tracked down SD's address using the on given on the HR's records, was startled by the appearance of the curly haired blonde. The blonde merely nodded at her before leaving. Sunye noted her hair was disarray and she was a little dazed as if her body was sore with pain.
Does SD live here? She wondered. Her question was answered within seconds.
"In here," SD's voice came from inside.
Sunye hesitated before entering the house. She had never been to any of his houses before. The reason she said 'houses' was because he had many. SD was always hiding from one house to another and it was nearly impossible to track him down whenever he moved. There were times when he did not contact her for months and would pop up suddenly one day without any notice.
She headed for his bedroom.
"SD I nee d to talk-" she began before pausing to see the sight in front of her. He was standing there, leaning against a wall wearing nothing but a towel. His usually brushed back hair was wet and his bangs fell forward, enhancing his handsome features. His blue eyes stared at her with amusement as Sunye's face turned red.
She quickly turned around in embarrassment.
"Wear something you freak!" she screeched, trying to hide her red face.
"I don't want to," he said. "I like it when you ogle at me. Makes me feel good."
"As if!" she scoffed. "You say those words to me and yet, sleep around with other women?"

She was not jealous but merely annoyed at his antics. SD flirted with almost every woman and occasionally slept with them in order to gain more some kind of information. He claimed to have needs but Sunye knew him too well. He would never sleep with someone unless he had something to gain.
And in his case, he only wanted one thing: information which could destroy a person. Once SD got the info he needed, he would sell it to the person who would ask for it first in return for a price. Sometimes he took money but in special cases, he would extract favors from them.
But once he sold off an information, he would never reveal that information to anyone else. The man was a scum but he had some ground rules he followed in order to maintain the balance.
"Why are you here, Sunye?" he asked. She heard him move and move slowly towards her. Sunye stiffened when she felt him stand close behind her.
"Did you send that photo to Lee Jonghyun?" she demanded. SD was touching her silky hair which was tied in a ponytail. Sunye did not dare to move. Whenever SD was nearby, her body would not move a muscle. His breath touched her neck and she shivered.
"I might have," he whispered in her ears, sniffing her hair.
"Is that picture forged?" she asked but her mind was a little dazed. SD was playing with her hair lock and it was hard to concentrate on anything else. But Sunye composed herself. She had a job to finish.
"That, my friend, is a secret," he replied, back off from her. He strode around Sunye, facing her.
"How much do you want for it?" she gritted in frustration.
SD ignored her and kept on playing with her hair. Frustrated by his lack of response, Sunye slapped his hands away and turned to face him.
"Tell me your price!" she spat.
"My price?" SD echoed. "I'm offended. I don't have prices. I merely ask for my rightful payment. But as a matter of fact, the information you're looking for has been bought by another client. I can't break the client code by giving you the information so easily."
"We have to catch Lim Byungsoo!" Sunye argued. "Only the Finance Minister can help us! They're lovers and surely, Byungsoo had shared many things with Shin Hyun!"
"Sorry sweets," SD shrugged. "Rules are rules. He even paid me a hefty amount of money."
"What I can do, however, is to make sure that the Minister will spill the beans by himself," SD stated.
"How so?"
He flashed a cryptic smile. "You'll see it on the masquerade cruise," he winked.

Makemake
"Makemake—a planet that is found in the far edges of the system known as Sol—was once a metropolis, like all of the other planets that populate the system. Now, like all of the others, it lies as a Sleeping City, forever dormant. No one lives there anymore—it has been vacant for years. In one of the massive cities that used to have a population that was in high numbers a sound could be heard. A distant sound. A beep, or a call, a message—whatever it was, it was an electronic noise. It echoed through the dust cloud filled landscape. The sound went on for a long time. It sat in a sea of quiet; no other noise rolled over the hills and bounced off the ground—only that noise. Only that beep."
