Inside the car, Gavin grabbed Brione's hand and kissed her knuckles as he asked in his soft voice, "why did you allow another man to put their filthy arms on your shoulders and waist? You even dance with that bastard."

Brione looked at him with squinted eyes as she scoffed, "You had someone tailed me?"

"Yeah," he replied without hesitation. "You see, you could be in danger because of me so I can't afford to put you at risk of being exposed to our enemies. Kevin followed you. My best among the rest. I should have accompanied you to that party. I wanted to crash that man's face!" Gavin groaned with a scowl on his face.

As soon as Kevin sent him the photos and videos of Brione with Derek, he immediately drove his way to the venue to pick her up. It was a good thing that he did not drink a lot. He barely finished one can of beer Noah gave him.

"Is this a new car? You don't have this car," Brione whispered, trying to change the topic to distract Gavin and to avoid having him sulking any further.

"Yeah, this is quite a nice car. Will bought this when he bought the villa near your penthouse," Gavin said then added, "That Derek… Is it just me or are you seeing his dark motives in his eyes as well, sweetheart? Something is telling me that man, Derek, is up for no good."

Brione heaved a long sigh. She did not want Gavin to get involved in her affair because he had already a lot on his plate at this moment but then, she also knew that communication was very important in their relationship. Gavin was the person whom she would always confide in about her problems and she wanted to keep it that way since she wanted the same from Gavin. She wanted him to tell her everything when it came to his affairs.

"I'm not comfortable with him so I will try not to cross paths with him. I still have a year left in my contract. Cooper is the best company handling all the best talents in the industry but if he crosses the line I have drawn for him then I will just terminate the contract and pay for the liabilities." Brione explained.

"Just terminate your contract tomorrow. You don't have to worry about anything since I will take care of everything. You can still continue with your career and I will take care of it," Gavin confidently stated.

"It must be nice to be a Prince, huh?" Brione teased.

"Hmm, my royal blood is nothing if I don't have you in my life. Like I said, what is mine is all yours Brione. You can do whatever you want with all my wealth and I won't mind," Gavin reiterated.

"Wait. We just passed by the penthouse," Brione said upon noticing the car passing by the building where her penthouse was located.

"Yeah, I want to show you the villa so later, you can decide where you want to stay there. Either way, I will implement tight security anyway," Gavin commented while he continued to play with her hand, He would either bite or kiss her knuckles, making her breath hitch. Just a simple gesture like that from him could make her aroused.

They soon stopped at a large gate that automatically opened. Upon entering inside, they were greeted by the scene of a luxurious residence with superb landscaping and gardens.

She absolutely would prefer to stay there since the place was good for building up their own family. Just imagining their kids running around the garden was already making her feel so giddy.

"It's beautiful," Brione gasped, looking at the beautiful lights that were giving a cozy vibe in the area. She bet it would look more stunning in the morning.

Gavin stopped the car and Brione saw the servants who were in their uniforms, waiting outside the entrance.

"These people are from my country and can be trusted since Will and Kevin double checked their profiles. They all signed a contract," Gavin explained before he went out of the car first. He walked around the car and then opened the door for Brione.

"Good evening, Your Highnesses," an old lady greeted.

"She is Miss Venus and she is the housekeeper," Gavin introduced.

"Please go back to your post. We can manage from here," Gavin instructed with a wink and everyone immediately left their sight.

"Where are they going?" Brione asked.

"Back to their quarters, after all, we will need some time alone," Gavin whispered in her ear, making Brione gulp as she felt his warm breath and wet lips against her ear.

Gavin held her hand and said, "let's go inside."

Brione smiled as they entered the house. She noticed the pathways of flower petals.

"What is this huh?" she asked in a whispering tone.

"It is a guide that will lead us to the way to our bedroom." Gavin naively answered with a grin. Brione turned at him and asked, "do I have a surprise from you?"

Gavin chuckled and replied, "it depends…"

"Huh?" Brione breathed. She let out a yelp as she was caught off guard when Gavin suddenly carried her in a bridal style.

"Put me down," Brione said laughing.

"But I have written in my journal that I was dreaming of a time where I can carry you like this while you wear your wedding gown. You are wearing a gown right now so this will do!" Gavin answered as he walked towards the staircase.

"Are you sure you want to go up while carrying me like this? Hey, you will waste your strength like this. You will need it later for later you know," Brione bantered.

Gavin arched a brow at her and retorted, "try me sweetheart and let's see who will lose strength between us later."

Gavin carried her up to the second floor. The house was very spacious. She would love to tour around tomorrow. She was sure that tonight, her husband would not let her out of their bedroom for even a single minute.

He stopped at the door where she assumed their bedroom was. He looked at her intently and whispered, "I just remembered another piece of my memory right now."

"Huh? What is it?" Brione asked, curious what Gavin recalled this time.

"It's me practicing the piano and playing your favorite piece, Moonlight Sonata. I wanted to surprise you with it on your birthday," Gavin whispered. Now Brione knew why Gavin could play that piece before when she tried to test his piano skills.

"That's the only piece you can play, right?" Brione reconfirmed and Gavin nodded.

"I may not be good with the piano but I think I'm good with many important things…"

"Like what?" Brione asked.

"Like pleasing my wife on the bed and making her scream in ecstasy…" Gavin shamelessly uttered, making Brione turn crimson red in embarrassment.
