Earth's Alpha Prime Chapter 2

[Time Left: 57 sec]
With 3 seconds already lost, I didn't dally any longer and rushed towards my wardrobe and quickly wore a Black Track Suit and a pair of sports shoes.
This might be the quickest I have ever changed my clothes.
In a rush, I picked my small duffel bag that was placed on the top right corner of my wardrobe, and I glanced at the countdown notification.
[Time Left: 32 sec]
I didn't have a lot of time, so I moved as swiftly as possible and slipped two pairs of clothes, a pair of boxing wraps into my bag and ran towards the kitchen.
There I grabbed a few high-calorie foods and stuffed them in my bag along with a Kitchen knife which was lying nearby.
When I thought I finished my preparations, I looked back at the countdown notification.
[Time Left: 9 sec]
In these last 9 seconds, I ruffled my long hair that reached my nape.
A sudden realisation hit me, because if the information in the notifications were really true, then it wouldn't be possible for me to return to earth for another 18 months.
Since I was living alone, if my family don't hear from me for several days they would be worried.
If I was out of contact for 18 months, they would freak out and might even believe that I was kidnapped or killed.
Intending to send a message to them, I rushed towards my bedroom to my phone that was left on the bedside table, while carrying the mini duffel bag on my back.
While running towards my bed, I shouted, "Hey Siri, Send a voice message to Kay!"
By the time I was near it, the iPhone screen had brightened up, and an animated Siri Orb appeared on the screen along with a message that stated, "OK, recording...".

I didn't make a normal phone call because it was midnight and it would have taken a few seconds before my younger triplet brother 'Kay' could pick up my call.
Once the recording started, I started speaking as fast as I could in a serious tone, "Kay, listen to me carefully, I might be out of contact for the next 18 months for an unexplainable reason. Tell the rest of the family that I went on a long overseas business trip or something like that or else they would be worried sick. Ok, bye!"
After that, I stopped speaking, and in a second, Siri displayed a wave of the recording on the screen along with options to Send, Cancel, and a play button to replay the recording.
Just as I tapped the send option on the screen, I vanished from the spot where I stood and my phone fell on my bedside table.
After that, I appeared in a dense forest, and with utmost self-control, I suppressed my urge to puke from the teleportation.
I searched my vicinity and found no living beings.
In the first few seconds, I got agitated about being teleported to an unknown forest terrain in an unknown area but as I calmed down, I was actually glad that I prepared myself, instead of ignoring the notifications.
The forest around me was primitive. I was in awe of the size and majesty of the trees around me because the height of the surrounding trees were mostly above 20 meters with an average width of 4 meters.
After a few seconds of amazement, I ran towards an enormous tree that had a burrow with a diameter of 1 meter.
I carefully checked if any other creatures were inside the tree burrow and sighed a breath of relief after not finding any signs of other living creatures.

What surprised me was the space that was pretty large for a burrow.
I entered it and even being 6 feet tall, I had to stand on my toes while stretching my hand vertically to touch the top of the burrow space.
I stealthily went outside while crouching and harvested a few nearby bushes to cover the burrow entrance whilst retreating inside the burrow.
It was dark because I covered the entrance, but I wasn't concerned about that.
I sat down and gathered my thoughts about those notifications and summarised it shortly within my mind.
An entity named 'System' is assimilating Earth with the rest of the Universe.
Due to that, the system requires data from individuals with the Innate Abilities with the highest potential. I am still clueless about innate abilities.
Among the 3 Sub-Programs of the Trial Program, the ALPHA program was the first to be started.
That means only 11 Chosen got teleported into this Trial Zone. After three months will another 100 individuals get selected for the BETA Program to enter the Trial zone.
Since I couldn't discover any of the remaining 10 Alpha Chosen near me, I realised that they must have been teleported randomly within the Trial Zone.
I tried to communicate with this 'System' but was only met with awkward silence.
After that, I mumbled to myself, "If I want to survive, hiding won't do as I don't know how long I'll have to stay in this place."
That was why I decided to find a water source and sources of food, and while I was deep in thought, a glint located at top-left of my vision interrupted my train of thought.
[ALPHA Program, Day - 1, Time - 00:12:47]
It showed the time from when I teleported to the Trial Zone. Another discovery is that I found a letter 'S' at the top right of my vision.
I thought about it, and a notification tab abruptly appeared in front of me.
