The Copy Mage Chapter 11

Damian's fire ball although had intimidated the guards, also gave them confidence in winning as they knew that a boy at such a low LVL wouldn't be able to use such a draining skill many times.
Damian felt drained from the single fire ball, but could feel his energy surging through his body and recovering slowly.
Damian's changeable energy not only had the attribute to change into and copy anything, but also was extremely dense and much thicker than other cultivators at the same LVL.
The guards and Damian glared at each other while Sarah watched attentively with the rest of the crowd that surrounded the area.
"Let's charge at him altogether," the leader of the guards said as he tightly gripped his spear and charged at Damian with his two subordinates behind him.
As the strongest and the fastest, the leader reached Damian quickest and pierced his spear forth towards Damian's chest.
Damian saw the attack coming, but the gap in LVL was too high and he only managed to narrowly dodge the attack as his shoulder was slashed by the razor-sharp spear tip.
Blood gushed out of the deep shoulder wound and dyed his robes dark red.
"Damian" screamed his mother in worry and as she prepared to charge in to save her son.
However just as she activated her Soul Spirit, she was interrupted and stopped by Damian.
"Do not interfere mother" shouted Damian, not wanting his pride and honour to be stepped on and wanting to prove himself to his mother.
Clenching his teeth to bear with the excruciating pain that was alarming his senses, Damian was unwilling to let his mother see him lose.
Fire Fist.
His right fist began to flare and was coated in flames as he launched his fist into the guard leader, who had struck him with his spear.

The fist with its explosive power crashed into the guard's stomach, launching him flying back.
Slamming into the wall, that surrounded the main family's area, he blurted out a curdle of blood due to the impact.
Despite the gap in LVL, Damian had hit him when he was vulnerable and with a powerful skill making it a fatal attack.
The fire fist drained his energy massively, as Damian had streamed massive amounts of energy into the skill.
The exchange of attacks happened in instants, and the two guards left were frozen in both shock and fear, all while the crowd and Sarah watched.
They were completely shocked by Damian's combat prowess, decisiveness, and his overall power.
Damian felt dizzy due to using large amounts of energy and after having lost blood from the wound on his shoulder.
[I can't stop now otherwise I would have lost to these guards and I would need to rely on my mother] he said to himself, as his drive to never be looked down upon made him ignore all the pain he was going through.
The flame reinforcement was beginning to wear off as his energy was not able to sustain it for much longer, so he knew that he had to finish the battle as quickly as he could.
Bursting off his feet towards the dazed guards left, he launched a fist at both of their faces at the same time, with all his power.
Both the guards were struck down by his fists and instantly fell back with extreme force and slammed their heads onto the ground, cracking their skulls as they lost consciousness.
Seeing that he had defeated all 4 of them, Damian had a proud smile as his eyes closed and he fell forwards as his body loses consciousness.
After losing so much blood and over drafting his energy, his body was no longer capable of staying conscious.

SWOOSH.
Sarah seemed to have fire under her feet, as she glided with incredible speed and caught the falling Damian.
"FUCK OFF" she roared at the crowd who had been watching the event unfold.
The crowds dispersed feeling her powerful aura and her anger, and knew better than to mess with her.
Seeing her son lay in her arms conscious and his injury, the fury she suppressed broke through.
Placing two of her slender fingers gently on his neck, and feeling the faint beating from his pulse, she let out a sigh of relief and calmed down.
Carrying her son in her arms she walked over to the two large bags he was carrying, and grabbed them with her hands that were under Damian, and surprisingly it seemed as though effortless for her to carry Damian and the large bags.
"Now to say goodbye to this cruel family forever" she mumbled as she walked over the injured bodies of the guards and left the Maxwell Family area.
Walking out she saw large white horses, that were cultivated beasts, pulling a large golden cart behind it.
"Stop" ordered a voice within the cart, which immediately came to a halt in front of Sarah who was carrying her son and their bags.
Opening the door of the cart was a handsome man with glistening long black hair and shining brown eyes and was wearing expensive white robes with golden stitching.
"Sarah you have fallen to such a state, come with me I will still accept you and your child even after everything" offered the man as he places his hand out.
Sarah was only 28 years in age and was angelically beautiful and cultivators would always have abundant energy and vitality making them look younger and live longer.
"I have declined you many times and I have fallen this low, but will never fall to the point that I need you" she refuted as she turned her back on him and continued walking towards the central business district near the Maxwell Fire Family.
"You will regret this Sarah," said the prince as he signaled to the driver to continue.
Sarah knew that turning by her back on the original families and the Royal Academy to take her son to join Akegria Academy, she would be classed as a traitor and never be able to turn back.
But she had already turned her back on everything and everybody apart from Damian.
"Time for a new start, and as long as I have Damian I am happy" she stated as she smiled faintly and continued towards the Central Business District.
