It didn't take Damian, who was very perceptive and had great precision and control to cut up the rabbit beast and prepare it to be eaten.

He had bought some salt with him, which was all he felt that he needed since the beast meat was already tasty and the salt would enhance the flavour, while other seasonings might mess up the flavour.

Damian also only bought salt because he didn't want to carry too many things and because he didn't really know how to cook.

He gathered some sticks to form a fire and he knew that cooking in the beast woods would attract lots of beasts and even unwanted people, but he was only in the Outer Section of the beast woods and Damian was confident in his ability.

Damian didn't activate his Maxwell Fire Soul Spirit that he had cultivated and strengthened using the Golden Flame cultivation method, as the flame would be too strong and hot to be used to cook.

If he used the red and golden flame that he had been cultivating, the fire wood he gathered would all be burnt too quickly along with any meat that Damian cooked over it.

Instead, Damian changed his changeable energy into Fire Energy and formed a small and weak flame using the energy, in the same way that he could use the Shadow Element without having a Soul Spirit of the Shadow Element.

Doing so, made it so that it was much easier to control the size and strength of the flame and it also expended less energy and could be instantly and independently activated without him needing to communicate to Utsusu to activate the Soul Spirit for him.

After lighting up the wood and sticks that he had gathered, Damian pierced the slabs of rabbit beast meat that he prepared with a sharp and long stick, then cooked them over the flame after it began to die down.

The smell was really nice and the rabbit beast meat reminded Damian of chickens that were mass farmed in the city, and after he was sure that it was cooked, he began to hungrily devour it.

Damian ate all the meat that he salvaged from the body of the rabbit beast, then threw the rest that he couldn't eat to nearby beasts.

It was surprisingly delicious and although he felt stuffed afterwards, since he had eaten enough food to feed an entire family, he felt energised and ready to continue moving towards the Inner Section of the beast woods.

However, as he got up and prepared to depart, a hoard of rank 2 and 3 beast began approaching him from all directions, which worried Damian slightly as fighting that many beasts, even if they were all rank 1 beasts, would be very difficult.

Despite that, Damian still stayed calm and since he no longer had to use his Internal Energy to reinforce his body, as it had become very powerful after being tempered, he could fight for much longer periods and use his Internal Energy mainly for attacks.

There were all kinds of beasts, some large, some small and they all seemed to come to some sort of mutual agreement where they all aim to take down Damian.

The hatred between beasts and humans was to be expected, but Damian had never expected that such a large number of beasts would all work together to try and kill and eat him.

However, considering how weak they were in the grand scheme of things, that was to be expected and the lucky survivors out of those beasts may be able to breakthrough after consuming the bodies of the beasts that had died.

That's how life was for the beasts and most of the powerful beasts in the Inner and Core Sections of the beast woods made it where they were because they were lucky.

Spreading his spiritual sense, Damian counted a few dozen beasts and he knew that fighting against all of them would be an unrealistic plan as he could only deal with so many opponents at once.

Instead, he planned to kill a few of the stronger beasts then scare off the rest with a wide-range powerful attack and him suddenly releasing his aura.

Taking out his bow, Damian jumped up into the air and fired 4 consecutive Explosive Fire Arrows as he spun around, hitting groups of beasts all around him and pushing them back.

Then after that, he put his bow back over his shoulder and created a sword out of fire by merging the Arrow Beam skill, his precise control over his energy and his Maxwell Fire Soul Spirit.

With the Fire Sword in his right hand, Damian used the Flame Burst Skill to launch himself towards a smaller group of beasts and began hacking at them and slashing them apart with the blade of fire that he formed.

Although it wasn't as sharp as a blade forged from metal, as producing such a sharp weapon using his energy would be very difficult, every strike he landed with it would cause a small explosion, set fire to the opponent and would inflect them with a deep slash.

Damian came up with the skill but it was the first time trying it and was the perfect weapon to be used against a group, since each attack would inflict large wounds and push the enemies and back, giving him space.

The Fire Sword Skill was very useful, but was also very simple, draining and quite easily countered by merely avoiding the blade.

However, with Damian's Golden Flame Tempered Body, his speed and explosive power was incredible, making it so that with the Fire Sword Skill, against beasts at lower cultivation levels, he was very powerful.

Within a few seconds, Damian had taken down and blown away a dozen beasts and could feel heat and power surging throughout his body as he experienced the exhilarating adrenaline rush of fighting a tough battle.

While facing multiple beasts from in front of him, although Damian had the upper hand and was a frightening opponent to go up against, the rest of the beasts were not intimidated and still continued to surround Damian.
