"That was hurtful!" Leon made a crying face and glared at Derek who wasn't in the least bit bothered.

"Then why were you running as if the cops were after you?" Lina asked as she sat on the couch while Derek placed the big bag on the table and stood aside.

Leon eyed the bag and slowly moved towards the couch and sat opposite her.

"I heard the other staff saying that you brought cupcakes again. Is that true?" Leon leaned forward and tried to take a peek at what was inside the bag but Lina smacked his hand away.

"No touching! Those are for the staff!" Lina gave him an intimidating stare and he backed away.

"I'm also a member of the staff." He mumbled sulkily.

She looked at the time and it was 9:20 AM. Wade had called for a meeting in the conference hall at 9:30 this meant that she still had 10 minutes to spare.

"Derek, leave the top two boxes here and carry the bigger boxes placed at the bottom and follow me." She instructed and Derek quickly did as she told and followed her with the boxes.

"Come on!" She rushed Leon who was still sulking on the couch and asked him to quickly get a move on.

She locked her office once they were out and turned around.

The moment she turned, she saw almost everyone looking at her with twinkling eyes.

As she moved towards them, they hurriedly stood up and greeted her with enthusiasm and love.

"Hey, guy!" She waved at them and everyone said hi back in one voice.

'I feel like I'm a kindergarten teacher who has brought the kids sweets.' She giggled thinking of this and looked at Derek.

Understanding what she meant, he placed the bigger box on the desk and bowed to Lina and took a step back.

"I hope you liked the cupcakes that I made on the first day." She shyly asked them and received positive answers from all around.

Delighted with their response, she opened the box and a sweet aroma arose from it.

"I made cookies today, so if you would like to, then please enjoy it!" She smiled widely and took a step back.

She then turned to face Derek and Leon and then they walked towards the conference room together.

"One second!" Leon yelled and ran back to the crowd that had already gathered around the cookies.

Lina turned back to see why he left and saw how he tackled the other men and fought his way to the cookies and swiftly carried two before running back to her.

"Greedy bastard!" Derek mumbled when Leon was bent forward trying to catch his breath.

"I was going to give you this one but it seems that I am too greedy to share!" Leon waved the second cookie at Derek's face, waiting to see remorse flash in his eyes for the snide remark that he had just made.

But to his surprise, Derek just scoffed at him and rolled his eyes.

"Young Miss already gave me a bag full of cookies and also strawberry smoothie." Derek sneered and showed off the pictures that he had taken before he left the car to accompany Lina.

"What? Where's my smoothie!?" Leon whined like a baby.

"You can just enjoy the TWO cookies in your hands." Derek mocked him and turned away.

Lina was standing at the side looking at these two grown men bickering like little children.

'I never knew that Derek was so mean and sarcastic, I like him even more now!' She smiled and turned to walk to the conference hall.

When they had just entered the conference hall, they noticed that someone was already inside.

Asst Kirk Douglas smiled at Lina and she quickly went and hugged him.

He was here in advance to make sure that all the documents that Wade had asked for were ready and neatly arranged.

"I heard you made cookies." He beamed at her but stared at the man standing behind her.

'His network is fast!' Lina thought as she nodded her head.

Derek was also glaring at Kirk because he had just hugged his Young miss and twirled her around.

Leon, who was already familiar with how Asst Kirk changed his colors in front of Lina just sat in one corner to observe how two Lina fans would clash against each other.

"Who might you be?" Kirk reverted to his expressionless face and asked with a fierce voice.

"I am Young Miss' driver. Who are you?" Derek did not back off and confronted Kirk head-on.

Whenever Derek had come to deliver their lunch, for whatever reason, Kirk was never around. So they had never met each other before today and this confusion was valid.

"Boys, calm down." She stood between them and they just looked at her.

"Derek, this is my friend from abroad, he works here now." She introduced Kirk to Derek and then turned to Kirk.

"This is Derek, my chauffeur, and most importantly my friend, so be nice." She spoke in an authoritative voice and Kirk instantly calmed down.

Being introduced as a friend by his Miss, Derek's ears turned a deep red and he felt a warmth inside.

'Young Miss is so sweet! She treats us servants also as her friend. I don't want her sweetness to be taken advantage of by such men!' He glared at Kirk and decided to ask Mrs. Ping what he must do in such situations.

'Lina just commanded Asst Kirk and he obeyed? Something isn't right here!' Detective Leon's brain was running at horse's speed when suddenly the doors of the conference hall were pushed open.

In came Wade with Old man Oswald and Stuart Bai.

When Wade saw Lina standing between Derek and Kirk, he understood what might have happened.

"Kirk, play nice!" He gave an off-handed command which did not make sense to the others who came with him but Kirk got the message loud and clear.

He nodded and went back to arranging the files around the table.

Derek knew that it was time for him to leave so he turned to face Lina.

"Young Miss, I'll be leaving then. I'll bring lunch for you and Young Master at the same time as usual." He informed her and turned around.

"Young Master." As he arrived in front of Wade, he nodded and then finally left the room.

'Young Master?' Leon caught onto those words and stared at Lina and then at Wade.

But what confused him more was that the two men with Wade showed no change in expression when they heard it. It was like they did not hear anything out of the ordinary.

That was because Stuart was already aware of Lina's identity and Old man Oswald had a blind guess which was slowly proving to be true.

In a few minutes, everyone arrived one after the other and waited for the meeting to begin.

At exactly 9:30 as mentioned earlier, the meeting was set to commence.

Everyone sat in the same places as before with only their assistants as an extra addition to this meeting.

Everyone had their own assistants except Lina and she sulked seeing that.

She quickly picked up her phone and sent a text out.

*Benji I miss you! Everyone here has their assistants and only I am sitting here alone!* She sent many crying face emojis to show that she was sad.

"I hope there isn't a repeat of what happened in the last meeting," Stuart whispered in her ear and she glared at him fiercely.

"You said that you would forget that it ever happened!" She whined and heard a low laugh that made her turn her head.

She looked at the person who was laughing and she pouted.

Sitting opposite to her seat, Ivan Zhou hid his face behind a file and chuckled when he heard their conversation.

He remembered how she whined on that call with her father, just like a child and that made him laugh out.

'She's so cute!' He smiled at her and the deep dimples were evident on his face.

'Hot damn!' Lina just stared at his stunning face and forgot about where she was and the fact that she was about to give Stuart Bai a piece of her mind.

"Erhmm…" She woke up from her daze when she heard someone clearing their throat.

She turned and found Wade giving her death glares.

'Learn to read the room! We are here for a meeting not for you to fangirl!' Wade's eyes narrowed at her.

'Sorry! I won't look at him again!' She pleaded with her eyes and he scoffed and turned his head away.

"Can we start the meeting?" Stuart interrupted their optical chat session when he noticed the others in the room wondering why the new consultant and VP were having an impromptu staring contest.

"Sure!" Wade adjusted his emotions and went back to being the serious boss that they remembered.

"Today's meeting is to discuss the final plans for the auction. We will be meeting Mr. Hitoshi and his team in an hour's time and he will show us LY's designs that will be auctioned." He said in a loud and clear voice and everyone nodded.

"Let's start with the date for the auction. I want it to be held in two week's time on a Saturday. Any objections?" Wade looked around after he told them about the date that he and Lina had already agreed on.

'Nana thought of everything beforehand, there's no way that people will object to it.'

His guess was right because everyone agreed to the date without any objections.

"Ok, moving on to the next issue. Mr. Oswald, if you cou-" Just as Wade was speaking, the door was roughly pushed open and everyone snapped their heads towards the door.
