"Hmm…!"

Lina lazily stretched her arms as she opened her eyes.

'Did I fall asleep right here?' She looked around and saw that she was still in the same place that she was last night.

She used the controls to brighten the lights in the room so that she could get up.

She then turned to her side when she felt something move.

'What a baby!' She saw Wayne snuggling a throw pillow as he drooled on the couch.

She then turned to the other side to wake Wade up, so that they might laugh at Wayne.

But she chuckled when she saw him.

He too was in the same pose as his brother with just the difference of no saliva dripping from his mouth.

'No wonder people say that twins have the same habits!' She carefully took her phone out and clicked his picture and then clicked Wayne's pictures.

She extricated herself from between them and slowly stepped away to take a panorama shot of them together on the couch.

Satisfied with the end results, she quickly sent it to the family chat group.

She waited for a few minutes to give the other members of the group time to save the pictures before she woke them up.

She checked her phone and exactly after 10 minutes, she moved forward and shook their arms.

"Wakey wakey, sleepyheads!" She nudged them to wake them up.

"Five more minutes!" Wayne grumbled and turned to the other side to continue the sweet dream that he was having.

"Urghh….!" Wade did not even bother to use his words and just groaned to show his dissatisfaction.

'They won't get up this way.' Lina shook her head and thought of how to wake them up quickly because they had to get to work in an hour's time.

'Got it!' She switched on the screen and after muting the movie, she fast-forwarded it to the scary scene from last night.

After unmuting the movie, she braced herself and hit the *PLAY* button.

"Aaahhhh….!" Came a loud feminine scream from the surround sound speakers.

This was enough to make the twins jump up from their seats, all signs of sleepiness had vanished and they were now hugging each other as they looked around.

'Dammit! I should have recorded it!' Lina regretted that she did not get this idea sooner.

"Awake?" She happily smiled at them and they scowled while looking at her cheerful face.

"We'll get you back for this, Nana!" Wade shouted when he saw that Lina was giggling.

"Bring it on!" She shrugged nonchalantly.

"You better sleep with one eye open!" Wayne showed his devilish smile and this made Lina rethink the decisions that she had just made.

'Oh please, as if they would hurt me.' She then stuck her tongue out at them and ran away.

"She knows that we won't do anything to her, that's why she's getting cocky! But this time we need to get back at her and I have the perfect idea!" Wayne grinned and rubbed his palms.

'What is he scheming now?' Wade was worried about Lina's safety this time around.

'Aunt Diane, I have to thank you for this great idea!' Wayne laughed maniacally as he thought of his conversation with Lina's mom before he returned from his vacation.

Running out from the room, Lina stopped only when she entered her room.

She entered and quickly freshened up. She then looked at the neatly pressed clothes that were sent from Yang Manor and smiled.

'Oh, I miss getting woken up by Suzie.' She chuckled when she remembered her uptight and obsessively compulsive maid.

She even decided to raid her mother's old room over here to find some nice vintage chic clothes that Lina could flaunt.

She quickly got dressed and looked at herself in the mirror.

Because she did not have her usual stuff here, she would just have to manage with the cosmetics that she had carried to the office yesterday.

Suzie had sent her a steel grey wide-mouthed high-waisted trousers that accentuated her tiny waist, matched with a white sleeveless round-necked top and a white satin finish jacket.

Also in the neatly arranged luggage bag was a diamond-studded watch, pale grey pointed toe stilettos, and the most important accessory of them all, her purse that perfectly matched her shoes.

She stood before the mirror and admired her figure and recalled Wayne's words that had called her fat.

'Should I start one of those fitness challenges that are so popular these days?' She made a mental note to check them out after she got back from work.

Once she was satisfied with her look for the day, she picked up her stuff and went downstairs.

"Ehrmm…" Lina cleared her throat when she reached the dining table to make her presence known.

Her uncles who had been feeding each other little bites of toast in between their kisses turned to look at her.

Uncle Ace moved away from Uncle Pat when he saw that their niece was standing there and enjoying their little PDA.

"Come, Nana, take a seat." Pat gestured for her to sit opposite him and she did so.

"Butler Mo!" Lina beamed when she saw the man walking towards her with a plate in his hands.

"Does the young miss still like pancakes?" He smiled at her and chuckled when she nodded like a woodpecker.

'I would even eat sawdust if you served it to me with that smile!' Her boy-crazy brain that loved beauty whispered in the back of her mind.

Lina quickly ate up her pancakes as she waited for the twins to get ready for work.

They leisurely reached the table while still yawning.

"Don't forget that you have to get to work soon!" Lina urged them to hurry up.

"Baby sister, have you forgotten that we run the company? We don't have to be there on time." Wayne smugly said and Wade agreed with him.

"Say that again!" The twins froze when they heard two voices speak simultaneously.

Lina glared at Wade and Ace glared at Wayne.

They had forgotten that their big bosses were right here.

Seeing their raised brows, the twins could just raise their hands in defeat. After sharing a pitiful look among themselves, they hurriedly gobbled up their breakfast.

"Let's go." Uncle Ace gestured to Wayne because they had to go to the same place, Luo Industries' HQ.

Wayne adjusted the blue tie for his black suit and bent down to kiss Lina's head and then quickly ran away after he pecked Wade's head.

"Bye Nana! Bye baby bro!" He yelled as he ran out the door.

"6 minutes! He's older by 6 minutes!" Wade wiped the place that he had kissed.

"And he'll never let you forget that." Lina chuckled and stood up to say goodbye to her uncle.

After she was done, as usual, Uncle Pat went to give his goodbye kisses and the boring and uptight Wade covered her eyes.

'I've seen much more than this. Why is he closing my eyes!?' Lina struggled to move his hands but by the time she succeeded, the couple had already left.

"Let's go!" Wade hurried her out the door.

She met Uncle Pat standing outside as he waved at Uncle Ace's car that was disappearing out of the gate.

Lina's heart melted when she saw this warm scene.

After saying goodbye to Pat, Lina and Wade made their way to Obsidia.

On the way, Wade informed her that all the invites had safely reached the patrons and now they just had to hold the press conference when the matter became viral.

"Do you really want to go to the auction with me?" Wade asked and Lina turned to look at him.

Wade hated crowded spaces and would often avoid it. But Lina wanted to use this opportunity to slowly get him used to the thought of socializing with others because he needed to run this company for a very long time.

"Yes, I do. I want you to color coordinate with me so that we look the best. All eyes should be on us that night!" She declared.

"Says the girl who hates being the center of attention!" Wade laughed at her.

"Not when no one would know who we are. Did you forget that we'll be wearing masks?" She wiggled her brows at him.

"You want me to wear a mask at an auction gala?" He sneered at her.

"Not those shitty ones that Wayne wears. These will be custom made masquerade masks." She quickly opened her Tab and showed him a few models of the masks, only then did he agree to her suggestion.

Inside the car with Uncle Ace, Wayne sneezed twice.

"Are you okay?" Ace asked in a concerned voice.

Wayne just nodded and checked his phone when he felt it vibrate.

*Office. Lunch*

Those were the only two words written in the text that he had received.

'He won't melt if he uses more words!' Wayne rolled his eyes at the Ice Emperor's text.

'No wonder I just sneezed! He must be cursing me out!' He shoved the phone back in his pocket.

'But why did I sneeze twice?' He wondered about the other person who was thinking about him.

'It must be Nana! She's already missing me because she's bored of that poker face brother of mine.' He chuckled happily at this thought.
