Outside the guest room, the old lady found two statues in the hall as she was making her way towards the elevator.

"Young master Luo?" The elderly woman called out when she recognized the iconic dirty blonde hair that was always in the news headlines.

'Why is he here?' She doubted and then moved towards the two figures frozen in place.

Noticing that the two people had not turned around even after she had called out to them, she walked up to their position and stood before them.

Her eyes alternated between the two men who looked so similar that she felt as though she was hallucinating.

"Two young master Luos?" She muttered while rubbing her eyes in disbelief at this strange occurrence.

Wade was just as confused as the woman was while Wayne was staring at her with his eyes wide open.

"Mrs. Jun?" He questioned in puzzlement when he realized that she was the one who had come out from the guest room.

The lady named Mrs. Jun smiled and nodded her head at the young man who would often hang out with her master.

"You do not come here often." She recalled and then bowed at him.

Wade glanced at his brother who seemed to be familiar with the lady and slapped his arm, gesturing to fill him in on the details that he was missing here.

Mrs. Jun could not stop staring at the two men who were so similar to each other.

"Mrs. Jun, meet my younger brother Wade. As you might have guessed, we are twins." He introduced the man who had just hit him so ruthlessly.

This revelation elicited a surprised gasp from the woman who had seemingly not made that obvious connection between the two identical-looking men.

She then nodded her head in understanding and bowed to Wade as well.

"Hello, Younger Master Wade. This is the first time we have met so please let me cook something for you." She offered generously which made Wayne's mouth water.

He had eaten her cooking a few times before and he was always impressed. So pulled his brother along as he followed after the short old woman.

Wade was still not aware of who this woman was and what she was doing in Reuben's place, moving about so freely in his kitchen.

Looking at how effortlessly she found all the ingredients in the cabinets, he had the idea that this lady was a frequent visitor to this penthouse.

Wayne could easily discern the confusion that his little brother was having and hence he decided to relieve some of his curiosity.

"Mrs. Jun here is the caretaker of this penthouse whenever Reuben leaves town. She is like the overseer in his absence." He explained as they watched the woman busy at work.

Wade turned towards Wayne and raised his brows in obvious wonderment.

"He is not out of town so what is she doing here?" He whispered in order to not seem rude before the person he had met just today.

Since Wayne was just as clueless, he decided that it was best to make the woman in question to give them some answers.

"Mrs. Jun, how come you are here today?" He inquired while flashing his signature charming smile which made the old lady blush.

She then looked at the other man who remained stoic and expressionless which made her compare the two faces.

'One is so cheerful and bubbly while the other is silent and gloomy.' She concluded after carefully examining their faces.

Nonetheless, she loved pretty faces and this made her grow fond of them both.

She then glimpsed at the room that she had exited and silently smiled at them.

"Master had some work that required my presence." She gave them a vague reply as her eyes once again flitted in the same direction of the guest room.

The twins by now had realized that the lady whose voice Lina must have heard over the phone was none other than Mrs. Jun.

'Now that we know the who, we need to know the why!' The gossip loving detective, Wayne had sniffed out his new mission for the day.

Wade rolled his eyes when he saw the mischievous look on his face and then turned towards the door.

"Does it have anything to do with the woman who is inside with him?" He investigated while Wayne was still in his detective fantasy world.

Hearing the question that he was about to ask, Wayne scowled at his brother and then looked at Mrs. Jun with sparkling eyes waiting for answers.

Mrs. Jun knew that this young man was her Master's closest friend yet she was hesitant about revealing anything regarding his personal life.

The twins seemed to have noticed her reluctance to give them any information. So they put on friendly smiles to melt the old lady's heart.

"Mrs. Jun, the girl inside is our baby sister and we just want to know why she was taken inside." Wade mentioned as he continued to strain his cheek muscles to smile at her.

When a usually stoic person suddenly smiles at you, one would feel as though the flowers had bloomed in the freezing winter.

This was exactly how Mrs. Jun felt right at this moment.

'Aigoo! This old heart will beat out of my chest if I am subjected to this blessing any further!' She cried out while blushing and then looked away.

She went back to cooking the noodles that she had decided to make for them as she retold the story of what had happened today.

"I got a call from Master today in the morning and he asked me to reach his house urgently." She began while chopping up some fresh green onions for garnish.

While she was narrating the course of events that took place today since she had awakened, Lina and Reuben were having their 'talk' inside the guest room.

"Mind telling me what made you think that I was cheating on you, my doubting Kitten?"

Hearing this question from the man who gently lifted her chin to make eye contact with her, Lina could not help but pout.

'Why did I doubt him in the first place?' She tried to recollect what had happened.

This question made her ponder on why she had come to that absurd conclusion which in turn made her frown.

"It was all your fault!" She mumbled while narrowing her eyes.

'She was feeling nervous and guilty until a second ago and now she looks pissed?' Reuben could not help but marvel at this sudden change in her emotions.

The answer he received was not one he had expected so his brows raised in amusement as he stared right back at her.

"Come again? My fault, how so?" He chuckled in a low voice as he questioned her in return.

Lina could not help but squirm in her seat when his deep and seductive voice echoed in the room.

Reuben's chuckle came to a halt when he felt her soft body moving about right on top of him.

"Stay still!" He instructed while gritting his teeth.

'Dammit! This was a bad idea!' He exclaimed and his eyes darkened as he stared into hers.

Lina narrowed her eyes further and was about to give him a fitting response for ordering her around once again.

'Is he playing the dominating CEO bit again?' She wondered and then glared at him with the intention of lecturing him.

Those dark brown eyes grew darker and Lina could notice his jaw clenching repeatedly as he gritted his teeth.

'Why is he looking at me in that way?' She maintained eye contact and then… it struck her.

She froze when she realized that she was still seated on his lap and any more movement might have some major repercussions.

Reuben felt his face heat up when he noticed that she had understood why he had asked her to stay still.

'Can guys even get a boner when they are sick?' She questioned herself and a part of her was not willing to wait and see what the answer was.

"You still haven't explained how this was all my fault." Reuben repeated to divert her attention away from his nether regions.

Lina was now sitting with her legs still parted as her knees rested on the bed while her butt was pressed onto his lap.

The skirt had ridden up much higher than before to accommodate this weird posture that she was stuck in.

"I stand by my word!" She retorted while trying to pull the skirt lower without being too obvious about it.

What her subtle actions did was the exact opposite of what she had intended as now Reuben's attention had shifted to her thighs.

'Dammit all!' He cursed his rotten luck that this was happening while Lina was still in his lap.

He immediately looked away and tried hard to not think of the soft and squishy woman who was in his embrace.

Thankfully, Lina had not observed the strained expression on his face as he tried to control his desires and continued to elaborate on why she had deduced that he was cheating on her.

"You lied to me! I asked whether there was a woman in the house and you lied straight to my face!" She snarled at him, successfully stopping the lewd thoughts swarming in his mind.

Reuben took a deep breath in and then held onto her cheeks with his warm palms.

The fever had lowered significantly yet his body temperature was still higher than normal.

"Baby, I lied to give you that surprise." He muttered, feeling wronged with the misconception she had about him in her heart.

Lina watched his pouty lips then turned to glimpse at the wardrobe that he had shown her.

"Doesn't matter what the reason was Ruby, you still lied!" She resolutely declared, unwilling to accept the reason that she had been given.
