Wade and everyone in Obsidia who had a close relationship with Lina was trying to figure out how to deal with the crisis at hand.

It had been a few silent minutes with no one speaking a word when there was a knock on the door.

Wade glanced at the door and after he had given his permission, the door was pushed open and a head peeked inside.

"What is it?" He questioned when he saw the head secretary trying to take a peek inside the room.

The middle-aged woman straightened her back and entered the room.

However, she was not alone and had two people following after her.

Wade frowned when he saw that new people were entering his office when they were dealing with something important here.

"This better be important!" He uttered in a neutral tone with no emotion heard in his voice.

However, the secretary had faced him every day for two years now and hence she knew that the man was upset at their sudden intrusion.

"Sir, these two had come upstairs and had said that they had something important to say and needed to speak with Master Jin urgently." She mentioned why the two people had followed after her.

The VP, Wade Luo glanced at Stephen who was the cause of this interruption with his eyes narrowed dangerously.

Stephen did not notice the glare since he was glaring at the two fools who had come here to get him into trouble.

"This couldn't wait until I came back? What was so urgent that you had to rush all the way over here?" He snarled at his employees who cowered in silence.

The two people who had entered the room were none other than Supervisor Tim and Intern Vivian from the Clothing department which was under Stephen's care.

Vivian continued to stare at her feet as she kept her eyes lowered and did not speak a word.

This meant that it was Supervisor Tim who had to do the talking before the Little Devil.

"Sir, we have news about how the rumors are being spread." He disclosed the reason for their sudden arrival on the top floor.

After Stephen had left their floor, Tim had asked Vivian to come to his desk so that he might have a talk with her.

His real intention was to make sure that she does not stumble and gossip about Miss Lina from now on which might definitely cause her to lose her job.

This was when Vivian broke down and began crying at the injustice she was facing as no one would believe that she had not done anything in this incident.

In her hysterical state, she had said something which made Supervisor Tim's eyes open wide.

The very next moment, he asked another female intern to help Vivian look presentable and then dragged her all the way up to the VP's office.

When Wade and the others heard what the bespectacled man had announced, their ears perked up as they stared at him with sparkling eyes.

"What did you just say?" Stephen demanded that he repeat his earlier words.

The excitement in his eyes displayed how eager he was to know who was the culprit behind this entire scandal.

"Sir, Vivian here knows something about the rumors being spread." Tim quickly diverted their attention to the woman standing beside him.

In the next instant, Vivian felt multiple eyes on her which made her look up.

Wade, Kirk, Benji, Anthony, Leon, Stephen, and Tim were staring at her unblinkingly.

So many beautiful faces staring at her made her blush before she realized it.

'Wasn't she also involved in the last online scandal about Nana?' Benji narrowed his eyes at the woman.

He had been observing her ever since she had entered the room and when he finally caught sight of her face, he was stunned as he had seen her before.

When Lina had asked him to check the scandal about her entering the car with a stranger, there were three people who had targeted her by posting hateful comments on the forum.

One was the person from the marketing department who was used as the scapegoat by the main culprits.

The other was the person who was working for the culprits and had succeeded in getting away scot-free.

The last was this woman who had simply jumped onto the 'Hate Lina' bandwagon.

Lina had ordered the scapegoat to be fired as she wanted to see how the culprits would react and since then there was no movement from them.

While the other two were only being kept under Benji's careful watch.

"Weren't you one of the people who spoke ill of Lina on the forum the last time?" He revealed his thoughts.

This statement made the people's gaze turn sharp as they glared at her after hearing what Benji had to say.

"So you had a hand in what happened this time as well?" Stephen's snarl made her eyes pop out.

Vivian shook her head profusely to show that she was innocent this time around.

Noticing that she was about to cry at any minute now, Wade shot Steph a glare indicating him to keep his mouth shut.

"Speak!" He then commanded as he turned his gaze to the teary-eyed woman.

"I did post those comments because I disliked Miss Lina." She accepted as her head lowered once again.

'I thought that she was trying to snatch away Master Jin from me.' She bemoaned the reason why she had been hostile to Lina at the beginning.

When she noticed that the relationship between the two was that of siblings and Stephen worshipped Lina, she decided to stop hating her.

She had even planned to get on Lina's good side to get closer to Stephen but she never had the chance to do so as Lina rarely came to their floor.

Somehow, this was also the reason how she had come across the gossip being spread about her.

"So who is to say that you did not do it again this time?" Benji's skeptical words brought her back from her thoughts.

Vivian could make out the disbelieving look on everyone's faces and she realized that she had to make them trust her words.

"Sir, I had no hand in this incident but I had witnessed how it had spread." She declared in a clear and confident voice.

The others did not interrupt her this time and allowed her to speak her mind as they were curious as to what she had witnessed.

"I was in the jewelry department's break room yesterday when I first heard this gossip being spread." She began her story.

Vivian had made a friend who was an intern in the jewelry department and had gone over to give her the snacks that she had bought.

This was when she found her friend sitting with a group of other women whom she did not recognize.

These women were talking about the unfair attitude that the management had towards Lina just because she was the VP's sister.

Curious at what they were speaking, Vivian dragged her friend outside to get all the details.

This was how she had come to know about the gossip about Lina being a slacker who abused her relationship with the VP.

She bid her friend goodbye and went back to her floor as she did not wish to get involved with this any further.

The next time this had happened was when she had gone to the Marketing department's break room to try her luck at meeting Lina.

"That was when I saw Asst. Benji yelling at some employees who were talking about this." She mentioned while glancing at the big man.

Benji recalled the women he had yelled at today when he heard the nonsense they were speaking about his boss.

When Wade and Lina had left with Wayne for lunch, he had gone back to their floor to meet Miss Julia and Leon.

He had already been hungry and this made his annoyance at the gossip mongers grow larger.

Hearing the explanation Vivian gave made him recall that he had not seen her in that group of women, proving that she had not participated in the gossip.

'But that does not prove that she had no hand in this.' He remained suspicious of the woman.

In a matter of three days, this piece of gossip had spread like a wildfire throughout the company.

The sooner they sorted this issue out, the better it would be for Lina's dwindling reputation in the company.

"Do you know who started this gossip?" Manager Anthony Shen smiled at her as he inquired.

He felt bad for the woman as she was being ferociously glared at by Benji and hence had stepped in to help her out.

Vivian had heard about the gossip from her friend who had not told her about where she had heard the same from.

"No, Sir." She answered truthfully.

Stephen's eyes darkened when he heard this and he clenched his fists.

"Then why have you come here in the first place!?" He scowled at his intern who was making him look bad.

Wade was equally annoyed as he had thought she had some valuable information about this case but it seemed as if she had only come to get their attention.

"I came here because there was someone I had seen in both places when the gossip was being spread." She mentioned in a soft voice after she was yelled at by her boss.

This revelation made everyone stop and stare at her in silence.

Meanwhile, Benji fired up his laptop and began to look through the CCTV footage for the two incidents that she had spoken of earlier.

Just as she had mentioned, there was someone who was present at both places, making his face darkened when he saw the familiar face of who it was.
