"Three meetings is doable." Reuben muttered to himself as he had attended more than that number in the past.

"Two internal meetings with the different departments in our company and the last one at 12 PM is with the representative from the Zheng Group." Mathew continued speaking after he had informed Reuben about the information that he had asked for.

When Reuben heard the Zheng Group being mentioned, he stopped whatever thoughts were in his mind and narrowed his eyes at the assistant.

Mathew was quick to observe the changes that had taken place on the Emperor's face and this prompted him to stop speaking.

The silence that took over the room was suffocating before Reuben muttered a single sentence in a low voice.

"Zheng? He!" He scoffed at the very name of the company but soon reverted to his usual indifferent expression.

He had promised his father to gather enough evidence against Talia and only then would he retaliate against her.

But the animosity he had was against Talia and not the thousands of employees who worked at the Zheng Group.

The collaboration that the two companies were working towards had nothing to do with Talia which was the only reason why he had not yet canceled this project.

He was a shrewd businessman who would not let go of a chance to earn more money if given the chance.

Therefore, he was still on board with the project that the Zheng Group had worked hard to reel him into.

However, hearing the name Zheng he was reminded of the woman who had dared to act against his Kitten in broad daylight.

"Assistant Kim, I have a task for you." He called out to the man who was standing in silence after he noticed the weird air around the Emperor.

Mathew straightened his back and nodded to the man, waiting for the next instructions that his boss might have for him.

"Keep an eye on Talia Zheng and give me the detailed report of everything she does in the day." Reuben instructed which made the assistant's eyes widen in surprise.

'Why is the Emperor so bothered about that snake Talia!?' Mathew was worried that something was wrong with their boss.

The man who did not care whether that woman lived or died was now so concerned about her that he was asking for detailed information regarding that woman?

This was something that the curious assistant could not digest.

Reuben had not noticed the stunned and bewildered expression on his faithful eunuch's face and he kept speaking on what his orders were.

"Who does she meet? Who does she speak to? Where does she go? Who she mingles with? I need a report by the end of the day." He commanded and then pulled the tie that was around his neck.

Once he had loosened the tie, he began perusing the files while Mathew stood in the same position with a thunderstruck expression on his face.

"What about Lina?" His soft mutter was loud enough for the Emperor to hear which made him nod his head once again.

'How could I forget about this?' Reuben chided his forgetful brain and was glad that Mathew had reminded him of this important aspect.

"Book a private room in the best restaurant in town for our lunch." He instructed and smiled as he thought of the romantic lunch that he would soon have with his girlfriend.

Mathew's face was ugly with a layer of disgust apparent on it as he stared daggers at the man who was smiling like a fool.

'He stalks Talia and wants to date Lina!?' He scowled at the disgusting two-timer who had no shame.

Though Mathew was ashamed that he was serving this kind of man, he had no other choice but to follow his instructions.

"Consider it done, Boss." He uttered through gritted teeth and turned around to figure out which restaurant to book for the two-timing boss.

'Before he did not have even a single girl in his sights and now he has two. For shame!' He denounced the man who had gone mad after getting his first taste of women.

If Reuben had ever heard the thoughts that were going on in his assistant's damaged brain then he would not hesitate to kiss his ass out of the window and let him plummet down to the busy streets below.

Since he had no clue on the kind of opinion that his assistant had about him, he glanced at the man whose back was now visible.

Just as Mathew had turned around, he halted once again when he heard the Emperor calling out to him.

"One last thing before you go." Reuben smirked as an evil and devious look materialized on his face.

Apprehensive and reluctant as he was, Mathew stepped closer to hear what his boss had in mind now.

After hearing the next command of his Emperor, Mathew pondered over it and then nodded to indicate that he could do this task for the man.

'Today will be great!' Reuben smirked as he watched the other man leave his office in silence.

Once the room had returned to its former tranquil state, Reuben picked up the files and began going through them.

He had an hour before the first meeting of the day would begin so he wished to finish as much work as he could in the meantime.

While Reuben was doing his best so that he could have the lunch date with his Kitten, the said Kitten was laying on the couch with her feet dangling in the air.

"Sit properly! What will you do if someone enters the room?" Benji sneered at the woman who was treating this office as her bedroom.

Lina waved the assistant's worries away and continued laying in the same posture.

Just as Benji was about to chastise her further for her careless behavior, the door of the office was pushed open.

Benji stood up to greet the incomer but Lina did not move an inch as she shot the man who entered a glance before looking at the phone that was in her hand.

"Good morning to you too, my dear Nana." Wade scoffed at this little sister of his who did not bother to say hello after noticing his presence.

Right now, Benji and Lina were resting in Wade's office, waiting for him to arrive when this short conversation between them had taken place.

The assistant who followed after Wade smiled at his little brother and Lina before placing the new files onto his boss's desk.

"Why was I graced with your presence today?" Wade's sarcastic words made Lina sit up on the couch.

Since the three other men in this room all knew about Lina's secret identity as LY and the CEO of this company, she didn't have any scruples in speak about the reason why she was here early in the morning.

"I need a week's paid leave." She declared with a loud and clear voice which made the VP cough immediately after hearing it.

Wade glared at the woman who was bent on making things difficult for him in the office.

"You just cleared your name from the tag of being a slacker and the very next day you want to apply for a leave?" He glowered at his sister who was rolling her eyes at him.

'I'm surrounded by such worrywarts!' Lina sighed upon taking the faces which stared at her with concern evident in their eyes.
