Reuben's eyebrow twitched after hearing the bold waitress's words.

'All I wanted was to surprise my Kitten with breakfast in bed… Why is it so difficult to get some peace?' He lamented as such occurrences were everyday instances for him.

He was the heir of the Ming family and the CEO of Ming Enterprises.

It wouldn't be an exaggeration to say that many women had their eyes set on him.

So it wasn't too much of a surprise to him when he noticed the awe-filled eyes of this waitress as she gazed at him with a mixture of desire and greed.

"That would not be necessary. You may leave." He turned sideways to point towards the door through which he wished she would leave right this instant.

The moment he turned his body, his eyes fell on the woman who was standing by the bedroom door still in her nightwear.

'Looks like she is enjoying the show.' He rolled his eyes at his mischievous Kitten who would rather stand and watch than come over to his aid.

Lina giggled when she was caught and shrugged when she observed his accusing eyes shooting tiny daggers at her.

The waitress was surprised when she found the Ice Emperor's face melt and there were a plethora of emotions visible on his face.

There was anger, surprise but the most shocking was the smile which graced his lips.

Her confidence which had sunken due to his rejection, soared high when his stern look had softened.

However, she was unaware that this change was not for her but for the other woman who was now walking towards them.

"If you wish to serve us, then might as well serve us by pouring some coffee for us." Lina instructed, finally making her presence known to the waitress.

The new waitress was stunned to hear a female voice in the room and turned around only to find a tall lady dressed in loose-fitted nightwear walking towards them.

However, before she could reach their position, the man who was a few feet away from the waitress, zoned past her.

"You haven't worn your slippers!" He chastised the woman who just appeared for standing barefooted.

Lina chuckled while scratching her neck and shot him an apologetic glance.

"I thought you were leaving and wanted to say goodbye." She muttered the reason for her hurry.

But her haste wasn't needed as he was still in the suite and there was even an outsider with him.

Peeping out from the big muscular body of her boyfriend, Lina glanced at the waitress who stood rooted in her spot.

The waitress's uniform ended higher than her mid-thighs, allowing everyone to catch a glimpse of her shapely legs which she was proud of.

The blouse she wore was tight and clung to her chest, leaving nothing to their imagination.

Lina's eyes raised from her bold outfit to her face and found that there were shock and even traces of indignation written all over it.

'Why did she not feel bad when she was hitting on my boyfriend? Now she feels bad!' She scoffed and then looked up at Reuben with her eyes narrowed.

'I'll deal with you later!' She harrumphed, causing him to chuckle at her cute actions.

He had not done anything wrong yet she glared at him as though he had wronged her.

"The coffee?" Lina reminded the waitress as she stepped sideways, revealing herself which had been covered by Reuben's tall physique.

The waitress lowered her head and nodded as she began pouring coffee into two cups without letting her expressions appear before them.

Reuben ignored the waitress and held his Kitten's waist as he led her to the table.

The spread on the table looked mouthwatering, making Lina gawk at the scrumptious breakfast.

"Eat up and then you can get to work." He suggested to which she nodded.

As they took their seats next to each other, the waitress had completed filling their cups with black coffee and even poured the milk into them.

"Two spoons for me and one for him." Lina added when the other woman's hand reached for the sugar jar.

Nodding in silence once again, she did as she was told and placed the two steaming cups of coffee before them.

"I shall take my leave now, Sir, Miss." The waitress uttered while bowing and then hurried to leave the room.

Once the door was shut, Lina rose from her seat and began walking away from the table leaving Reuben bewildered at her actions.

"Where do you think that you are going?" He inquired as he too rose from his seat.

'Is she mad at me? But why?' He pondered whether he had done something that might have upset her.

Glancing at his confused face, Lina let out a chuckle and rolled her eyes.

"I need to brush, Ruby!" She disclosed her reason and strode away before he could say anything else.

Shaking his head, he sat back down and waited for her return without touching the food placed before him.

Once outside the suite, the waitress pushed her trolley into the elevator with his fists clenched around the handle.

'Who was that woman!?' She glowered in her heart.

A perfect opportunity to get closer to the heir of the Ming family was dashed away due to her presence.

This waitress had seen numerous men who stayed at this hotel from time to time.

Most men who booked rooms here were either on business trips, alone and away from their wives and family or were with their 'other' women, hiding away from their wives and families.

While the latter would bring their mistresses with them to have some fun while they were away from their responsibilities of being family men, the former were the kind who were lonely and needed company.

These were the type of men who were easier to seduce and gain benefits from.

A simple smile or a provocative sentence with a small gesture was enough to attract their attention.

The number of married men who claimed to love their wives yet allowed her to warm their beds during their stay at this hotel was far too many to count.

They obtained a pleasurable night which they lacked back at home and in exchange, she gained money and other benefits from them to remain silent about their rendezvous.

This wasn't a bad deal at all but when she thought of the bald and fat old men she had to sleep with, she was often indignant and woeful.

Therefore, she was ecstatic when she realized that she had the good fortune of meeting an eligible bachelor today.

"But that woman ruined my chance of getting together with Master Ming!" She gritted her teeth at the beauty that had appeared out of nowhere.

She knew that the Emperor was a single man who did not have any scandals with women outside.

Even the ones in the media were all proved to be fake news created by those women to gain publicity and hype.

Being a woman who liked a challenge, she wanted to be the first one to conquer the Emperor and have a real fling with him.

However, the presence of that unknown woman had wrecked her chances which were causing her to grimace each time she thought about this.

She had noticed how the Emperor had softened at her appearance which made her realize that she could not get close to him.

'At least not while she is still around.' She frowned but corrected her expressions when the elevator's doors were opened on another floor.

A tall and lean middle-aged man entered the closed space with her and nodded when she smiled at him.

'Might as well make use of this opportunity.' She shrugged and decided to focus her attention on the one to whom she could get closer right now.

She had been shocked to meet the Emperor which caused her to behave out of the ordinary but otherwise, she knew how to deal with men without making them vigilant against her.

Therefore, she did not glance at him and fixed her gaze at the doors which soon opened up at the lobby.

Stepping out with the trolley, she turned around and shot him her best smile while blushing.

"Hope you have a great day, Sir." She greeted him with a nod and without waiting for his answer, turned around and began walking away.

She did not forget to sway her hips as she moved and smirked when she felt his unblinking gaze on her back.

'Master Ming will soon be next.' She declared and turned around the corner, vanishing from the middle-aged man's sight subconsciously making him want for more from her.
