Lina had just stepped out of the bathroom when she heard the sound of footsteps coming from the hall.

'He's back!' She exclaimed, well aware of who it might be.

Her eyes flitted to the mirror where she looked at her reflection and smiled while messing with her recently blow-dried hair to make herself look presentable.

Fastening the bathrobe's belt around her waist, she stepped barefoot outside the room only to find that her assumption was spot on.

Standing next to the dining table was Reuben Ming, her boyfriend wearing the same clothes as he had in the morning.

'He was back before dinnertime.' Lina nodded after glancing at the wall clock.

When Reuben looked up, he found his Kitten standing a few feet away from him in a bathrobe as she gazed at the clock.

"I brought take-out." He announced and gestured for her to come closer.

Lina's sparkling eyes as she took in a whiff of the take-out meal he had brought along with him.

"What about the dinner from the hotel?" She inquired with hesitation written on her face.

'Benji will kill me if he hears that I ate take-out food.' She worried about her assistant who sometimes went berserk when it came to her health.

Reuben chuckled as he pushed her shoulders down, letting her take a seat on the chair he had already pulled out for her.

"This is a healthy take-out meal so don't worry about anything." He disclosed as he took off his jacket.

Taking his seat on the other side of the table, Reuben began serving her the food from the open packaged boxes onto their plates.

Lina did not stand on ceremony with him as she dug into her dinner.

'All that work had me exhausted!' She cried out and forked another piece of spicy fried meat into her mouth.

Since Reuben had promised to return before dinner, she had gone to shower first without eating and thanks to that she was now able to enjoy this delicious meal.

"I thought you might be bored of eating hotel food every day." He uttered as he watched her eat with gusto.

Lina stopped and glanced up at him with a weird look in her eyes.

"So you brought food from a different restaurant?" She retorted in a deadpan tone, causing the Young Master of the Ming family to choke on thin air.

Coughing to relieve the awkward air that surrounded him, he tilted his head while looking back into her eyes.

"Shall I send this away if you do not like it?" He interrogated and her widened eyes were all he needed in response.

Rolling his eyes at her panicked state, he harrumphed and went back to eating his food.

'I go out of my way to get her take-out but she's not appreciating it.' He clicked his tongue while thinking of what just happened and chose to concentrate on his plate.

'Wow! Looks like I just hurt his feelings.' Lina bit her lip to control the chuckle that longed to burst out.

She knew that Reuben wasn't the serious type of CEO, at least not when he was with her but now he was changing her view about him.

'He is so cute when he sulks!' She finally giggled when she could no longer hold it in.

This progress in her perception of him and his actions was certainly great as just a few weeks ago, she had thought that his brooding face was due to his constipation.

However, that had now changed as she was able to properly assess the mood that he had right now.

"Thank you for thinking about me even when you must have been tired after your long and tiresome meetings." She expressed her gratitude with a gentle smile on her face.

Reuben's face softened when he heard her words and nodded in silence as he continued to eat.

'Looks like I have to coax him later.' Lina decided and she too concentrated on her food.

Once dinner was done, Reuben announced that he had to wash up so Lina took this opportunity to change into pajamas as she had been in the same bathrobe ever since he had arrived.

In her shorts and an oversized T-shirt, she reclined on the couch, watching cartoons and sucking on a lollipop as she waited for her boyfriend to be done with his shower.

When Reuben reappeared, he had a towel in his hand and his bare chest glistened with the tiny droplets of moisture that still remained on his body.

The woman who had been laid on the couch without a care was now seated in an upright position as she watched the man entering the room.

Lina's jaw almost dropped at the glorious sight before her and a tragedy almost struck if she hadn't shut her mouth right on time.

Making sure that the lollipop was secure in her mouth once again, she gulped her saliva after witnessing the well-toned muscles of the man who was now closer to her.

'One, two, three…' She counted the abs on his body and the number came to a stop on eight.

Reuben smirked when he saw that his body had caused the lollipop to almost drop out of her mouth.

The fact that he had this kind of effect on her gave him a huge sense of satisfaction and pride about the body that he worked hard to maintain.

Lina watched as he stood right before her but what surprised her was that he sat on the floor instead as he handed her the towel in his hand.

"I should wipe your hair?" She inquired in a rather dumb and dazed manner after the sight that she had laid eyes upon.

The nod she received made her gulp as she held the towel close to his head.

Reuben was now seated right between her legs which had made her spread them further apart to accommodate him.

'This guy!' She narrowed her eyes at the sly man who took advantage of their current position as he laid his head sideways on her thigh.

His damp hair was clinging to her bare skin as she had worn shorts and his breath made her ticklish.

Reuben could feel her glaring at him but he watched the TV while letting her do as she pleased with his hair.

'I decided to coax him anyway…' Lina pouted as she began wiping his hair in a gentle and caring manner.

The man sitting on the carpeted floor shut his eyes as he enjoyed her soft touch until he almost fell asleep.

However, he snapped out of his drowsy state when he saw that all movements coming from her hands had stopped.

"All done, Ruby! Get off the floor now." She urged him to sit on the couch next to her.

Reuben complied with her wishes and when he sat next to her, he pulled her close to his body.

Lina's head rested against his chest and she giggled when she felt his hands snake inside her oversized shirt while she watched her cartoons.

"How was your day?" She inquired as his hands roamed across her stomach.

Reuben gently bit her ear and sucked on the top of her earlobe instead of answering her.

The smack he received from his Kitten on his hand that was inside her shirt indicated that she wished to hear an answer.

"Hectic with the new collaboration with different companies." He then briefed her about the four collaborations that the Ming Enterprises was involved in at the moment.

Lina listened attentively and even questioned him when she felt stuck on a certain matter.

The man whose hands never stopped moving inside her clothes explained everything she wished to know about.

The couple then spoke about Talia's involvement in one of these meetings but not much was mentioned as they had already discussed this during their phone call in the afternoon.

Lina's breathing was getting ragged as they continued their conversation due to the manly hands which were now massaging her breasts under the shirt.

She had not worn a bra as they would be going to bed soon and Reuben was making complete use of this opportunity.

Her hard nipples scraped against his palm while he cupped her breasts and played with them.

"Ruby…" Lina let out a soft moan while calling out his name when he abruptly pinched her nipples.

Reuben smirked as he continued his actions, not letting her rest.

The woman laid in his arms shut her eyes and squirmed at his touch while he maintained his squeezing and pinching rhythm.

Lina let out a yelp when out of nowhere she felt her body being raised and turned around.

The next thing she saw was the face of the man whose eyes were clearly darkened with something she had seen for the very first time.

Reuben's eyes fell on her flushed cheeks and he inched closer to those succulent lips that tempted him to take a bite every time he looked at them.

Desire, Lina realized that it was desire she had caught in his eyes as he leaned closer to her face.

Last night, the lights were turned off for her to feel comfortable and hence she had missed this same look that had appeared in his eyes at that time as well.

But now as she observed those dark eyes which only had her reflection in them, she felt desire bubbling up in her heart too.

Just before their lips could touch each other, Lina recalled something important that she had to share with this man.

However, Reuben had no clue about her intentions to speak so he shortened the distance between them and pressed his lips against hers.
