Secrets Of The Universe Chapter 106

While Jake was well on his way in the underground system, he had no idea that he was lucky in choosing the channel he took.
He had no idea that more than five kilometers away from him, in an open space, there was an intense fight going on that collapsed some of the weaker channels.
...........
Eden's Garden.
Three figures could be seen engaging in a two(2) versus one(1) heated fight.
It had been a while since they had started fighting and the winner had already been determined, but the two brothers refused to accept it.
In one exchange of attack, Caspian and Conan activated the same attack technique, "[Wind Blast]"
An abundance of blue wind concentrated on their hands to form a transparent ball.
Showcasing their teamwork, surprisingly, the brothers blasted their attacks at each other.
When the two attacks met, the concentrated wind in them burst out and stormed the surrounding.
The impact created multiple gusts of winds that blinded the sight of Talon with the earth dust.
Facing the hazy sight, Talon did not panic.
He walked randomly and shouted out loud for the two brothers to hear, "I know what you are doing. It wouldn't help you. This would end the same way."
His confidence was so bright that it almost shed light on the murky surrounding.
However, it was not wrong.
Prior to the current situation, Talon had utterly decimated the group.
He showcased his fine manipulation of [Illussion Element] and deceived the two brothers, despite their strong senses.
Even now, the two brothers couldn't forget the injuries they had received from Talon.
They wished they could forget the number of traumas they got from his illusion techniques. Some of them made them relieve the worst day of the life, over and over, again.
While they were vulnerable, Talon took advantage of that and dealt them grievous injuries, that spilled out blood from their body.

That led to their current situation, with them trying to reverse the situation by unleashing their trump card.
Still blinded by the environment, Talon shouted again, "I can hear your snarling. You really think I don't know what's going on."
Due to the influence of his brothers, he had learned to be articulate about his plans.
Hence, when he planned his invasion, he read all the information he could get on his main obstacle, the royals.
Prior to his arrival on the continent, he had already heard of a certain family on the southern continent that possessed a bloodline.
Such a bloodline, accompanied by their high intellect and combat skills, was able to make them the strongest family on the southern continent.
It wasn't hard for him to get enough information on them and when he did, he was fully prepared for his next action...…
Right now, he could tell what they were doing.
Most likely, they were channeling the power gained from their bloodline, transforming into creatures of the night.
By the time the surrounding settled, to his expectation, he didn't see two human brothers, but two lookalike beast
.
Both were humanoid and covered in black fur with golden streaks that were hidden in their suit of armor.
The beasts had wolf-like ears and their humanoid face gained tough skin. Their eyes, blue like a wolf with a night-black pupil, and their claws and fangs, extraordinarily sharp.
Their entire bearing became domineering as they howled, but one could link each beast with the two brothers.
The first beast had a darker golden streak on its fur, and its humanoid face was just like Conan Aztec.
The second beast's golden streak was more vibrant, just like King Caspian Aztec.
The two beasts looked at themselves and nodded before they jumped at Talon, who smiled at them, "Good. This way, we would be able to fully determine what system is better. The cultivation system or the new hybrid system!"

Talon knew what he said didn't make sense, but he was eager to prove the better side between the bloodline humans and him.
Technically speaking, [Bloodline Humans] were a sub-species of humans that possessed the bloodline of other races, mostly that of the beast race.
They didn't have their own unique power/progression system, as it would coincide with the human cultivation system.
Talon could be said to also be one, but his other half wasn't just any race!!
In a surprising manner, he lifted the bandage off his arm and revealed what was hidden beneath it.
To no one's surprise, and yet to their surprise, it was a dull arm that had been scraped clean countless times.
The color of the arm contrasted with Talon's skin and judging by the length of the dull arm which was longer than his right arm, the two "brother-beasts" guessed that it was implanted.
After revealing his arm, a grey energy brimmed out of it and pulsed into his body.
Instantly, he began his own transformation!
His body bulked to a bigger size and his skin adopted the grey tone of his left arm.
Even his right arm became the same size and length as his left arm.
However, that was not all!
His skin peeled, and showed signs of being about to decay, but didn't.
The amount of [Nether Energy] around him got absorbed as the whites parts of his eyes became unclear and gained a shade of yellow, as if it was strained.
After his full transformation, which resembled the appearance of a zombie, Talon spoke out in his deep zombie voice, "Do you understand now? This is the new source of strength!"
Caspian and Conan wasted no time listening to him.
While they understood that he was the product of the failed times, they couldn't do anything about it.
Moreover, the first priority was to protect Aztec and Talon was doing the exact opposite of that.
With the way things were going on, there was only one option they had.
That was to kill Talon, as he has shown a stubborn character, who is extremely angry deep down.
The two brothers lunged at Talon but didn't know it was Talon that actually took the first step.
Despite boasting of superior speed, they found themselves caught off-guard and could only guard the terrifying claws of Talon.
*Shing!*

Eight
His name is Eight. Not really, but that’s what the System decided after a slip of the tongue. One moment, he was stepping out the office door on the way home, and the next waking up on a hillside below a town wall. Oh, and the gate guard drove him off, because he thought Eight was a monster. Life’s tough when you’re trapped in an eight-year old body on another world. The first book focuses on Eight's survival on a dangerous new world. If you're a fan of Gary Paulsen's Hatchet, you'll enjoy it. The story is one of discovery, bushcraft, and finding one's way. Note that, while this is very much LitRPG, progression is slow, and Eight spends much of the first book alone. The second book recounts what happens when Eight and friends head east to the village of Voorhei. Expect a blend of fantasy adventure, ghost story, cozy mystery, and family drama. Books one and two make a complete story, while book 3 has just gotten underway.

Tales of the Legendary Scholar
They meet in the most unlikely moment and turned their life around. Freidrech newly arrived in his own nation's capital city, which is so foreign to him compared to his village's idyllic and nondiscriminatory atmosphere, after he is forced to come. Now, he is facing a royal prince and tells him to bow. This draws out one of his late father's teachings from the deepest recesses in his mind. "The blood of your great ancestors runs in your veins. Don't easily bow down to anyone, or accept suppression by any being, not even from a monarch, unless you pledge your allegiance to him. Also, giving in to oppression is directly telling the oppressor that you're easy prey and open for manipulation." He is uncertain on how to face this oppression right now. Will he bows or not? What will he do to uphold his father's words while keeping his life safe? As for the prince, Theodrech has nothing to do with Freidrech, so he wishes to let this slip, but the boy opens his mouth and proposes the most ludicrous challenge he ever heard and triggers his curiosity. "I, Freidrech Goederf Gerboud, son of the late Village Chief Louvel Gerboud of Wrilon, will challenge you, Your Highness, to a battle of riddles… If you win, I will not only bow but be your servant for the rest of my life." This amuses the prince. It is the first he met a boy of the same age who is not intimidated by the air of authority he projects. Rather, this boy challenges him. "Why are you so headstrong? In fact, bowing to me is an honor. You saw the King's noble Knights. When they saw me, they bowed," says Theodrech, testing Freidrech. "Allow me to be forward, Your Highness. For me, bowing to a monarch does not guarantee loyalty. If I were you, I rather have men who stand straight in my presence but who got my back, than bowing men who are dreaming of my death," replies Freidrech. The prince’s curiosity increases. A huge smile is seen on his face. Prince Theodrech decides to take Freidrech under his wing. Little did they know, this boy who Prince Theodrech takes in as his confidant and friend in the most ridiculous fashion is someone indispensable in his life and the one who can help him succeed the throne when he almost believes he has lost. Thus, the Tales of the Legendary Scholar begins. ------ o ------ Old Synopsis: A famous ancient adage stated, behind a successful man is a woman BUT… In these lands, the monarchs are seeking not a woman to stand behind them but the man hailed as the Legendary Scholar.
