The thought of Cole and whoever this male Secretary was hanging around her all day soured his mood. Reminding him that she could easily be stolen away by someone else if he was not careful enough. He was reminded that she had many options to choose from. He had to keep her by his side, he didn't want to return to the darkness that he had long left behind.

He turned off his laptop and stood, putting on his long black coat. He strode out of his office, Aiden stood from his desk.

"Sir everything okay?" He was surprised to see Noah leaving it was Five thirty, usually they would leave work at seven at the latest.

"We are picking Ivy up from work." Noah stood at his private lift waiting for it to arrive, Aiden jumped in the lift just after him.

Noah and Aiden both descended in the private lift to the underground car park. Aiden opened the door for Noah swiftly and entered the car soon after. A thought came to him.

"Eh, sir where does Ivy work?" Aiden inquired.

"Hughes Investments." Noah then closed his eyes not wanting to be disturbed on the journey.

It took ten minutes to reach Hughes Investments, Aiden parked beside Noah's car that Ivy had taken this morning.

Anticipation filled Noah and he got out of the car quickly before Aiden could even open his door for him. Noah walked straight to the elevator and hit the top floor button. He was sure his Ivy would have an office beside her father. This was his first time at Hughes Investments.

The company was small compared to his, but then most were in comparison. He had no need for investments so he never heard of this company before Ivy came into his life.

Aiden had jumped in the lift with his boss, he was filled with curiosity. Why are we here?

The lift door opened and Noah excited his imposing aura seeped out into the CEO's floor. Feeling the chill the Secretary turned to see the man before them but didn't dare to approach.

Noah saw a young man amount the secretaries. He glared at him, "Bring me to Ivys office." His words were a command that many feared to disobey.

Nathan stood from his desk and politely stood in front of Noah. He knew Noah, everyone would recognise this man, he was the worlds most formidable businessman. He gathered his courage for Ivys sake and asked, "Do you have an appointment?"

Noah sneered at the young man. "..."

Before Noah could unleash his wrath Aiden stepped forward and coughed. "Could you please take us to Ivy, or let her know we are here, she will see us."

Nathan looked away from Noah to the Secretary beside him, people would recognise Aiden as well, he was Noah's right hand, his second in command. They both demanded to see Ivy, what was he to do?

"I will let her know you are here." Returning to his desk he picked up the phone to speak to Ivy but before he could he saw Noah walk to an office door and open it.

Inside the office, the phone rang at Ivys desk and just as she was about to answer the door opened.

Hearing the door open Thomas stood in a flash and held his hand on his concealed gun. Seeing Noah he sighed in relief and put his hands by his side. He nodded at Noah and Aiden as they entered. Aiden made a gesture and Thomas took the hint and left Ivys office.

Outside Ivys office Nathan had come running seeing CEO Noah Adler ignore him and barge into Ivys office, he was concerned and left his desk to help her should she need it. But he saw Thomas and Aiden come out closing the door behind them.

Seeing Nathans concern Thomas put his arm around his shoulders. " Don't worry kiddo these two will be at it like rabbits for hours, so take a break."

Thomas patted Nathan's shoulder and went to the sofas to sit and wait with Aiden.

Nathan looked at the door and it all suddenly dawned on him what Thomas words meant. He sighed in relief and went back to his desk. He was worried for Ivy but if she had CEO Noah Adlers backing he was sure she would be okay.

Inside the room, Ivy had been shocked by Noah's sudden arrival but she smiled at him as he walked towards her.

Noah walked towards Ivy he was immensely proud of her, she looked like a queen sitting behind this desk and once again he was the foolish Emperor who had left his duties to visit her.

Noah went to her desk, picking her up from her seat then after sitting down himself he set her on his lap.

Ivy was used to this by now and gave in to his seating requests. "So what brings the great CEO Noah Adler to my humble office?" Ivy beamed.

"To see my kitten become a tigress why else." Ivy smiled wider at his remark and then she thought of the restaurant.

Ivy looked at Noah. "So what happened with Lauren?"

"You threw him out," Noah recollected. Cupping Ivys chin, he angled her face and kissed her.

Ivy responded to the kiss before pushing her lover away. "Don't distract me, I know that won't be the end of it. You would never let others touch you."

Noah wrapped his arms around her small waist, his lips curved. "Thomas and Aiden left her to walk home naked, the tabloids may have taken some photos of her, but that can't be helped. She did undress herself. Her punishment could have been a lot worse."

Ivy looked at her lover, sceptical. "You're not lying, right?"

"Why, do you want me to do my worst?"

"No! Lauren's a two-faced bitch but she's someone I know. So I don't want blood unnecessarily on your hands." Ivy then tried climbing off Noah's lap but the grip around her waist kept him in place.

"Even though she tried to seduce me?" Noah questioned.
