He got his secretary to investigate and it turned out Lauren had been busy on nights when he worked late, she had been with many other wealthy men. The irony wasn't lost on him as he had done the same thing to Ivy two years ago. With his ego and pride hurt, he wouldn't allow Lauren to continue being his girlfriend.

He got home and paced the living room as he waited for Lauren to arrive home and when she did he confronted her straight away. A fight broke out immediately. She screamed threw many things at him, trashing his home. He lost it and kicked her out with just the clothing on her back.

He didn't care where she went, she could go to one of the many men she was sleeping with. He felt like an idiot, she had deceived him and now he had only one thought.

He had to get Ivy back.

**Flashback Ended**

Cole stood opposite Ivy's desk, " You don't mean that."

Ivy laughed, "Of course I mean it, what makes you think I would want you."

Cole gritted his teeth he couldn't believe that they were truly over. He stood as he thought of how or what he could do to get her back.

Ivy watched Cole stand there like a dummy. She giggled and then stood up and grabbed her handbag. "Thomas let's go we have a meeting this afternoon."

Ivy walked past Cole and he reached to grab her arm but she was a step ahead of him and sidestepped his arm. She walked out the door and Thomas and Nathan followed straight behind.

All Cole could do is look at his outstretched arm and Ivys back. He clenched his fist, je was determined not to let her go. He walked out of her office and was about to follow when Victor came out of his office.

"Cole my office," Victor called out and then disappeared into his office.

Bing

The lift arrived and Ivy, Nathan and Thomas entered the lift together.

"Idiot!" Thomas said as soon as the lift doors closed.

Nathan laughed, "Ivy I am so glad your back to teach these scum a lesson."

"I have only barely begun if they can't handle this much it will be too quick and boring." Ivy smiled as she thought of Lauren being manhandled out of Hughes Investments and then Cole's face as she put him in his place.

They got out of the lift and got into Noahs Bugatti Veyron. They drove over to Cerberus Games and met with the CEO. He was young and respectful. They hit it off and signed the contract there and then.

Ivy walked out of Cerberus games with Nathan and Thomas in toe. They got into their car, this time Ivy sat in the back, she tiredly rubbed her eyes as she rested her head back against the back seat.

Ivy hadn't held and meeting or discussed investment in a long time. Today had taken it out of her, she wanted nothing more than to be wrapped in Noah's arms. She was glad the investment went through so easily and quickly it wouldn't be long before she could earn back all the money that Cole had lost.

She had a plan to start to buy back shares from shareholders. She wanted a few more investments but she would hold off till she could buy back the shares. She had to make the shareholders think Hughes investments was no profitable so she could buy the shares discreetly at a low price. But she would need money.

She took out her phone and called Tony, she had invested money in a few properties with him, she had to see what was happening with them.

Ring Ring Ring

"Ivy, im glad you rang."

"I hope you have good news for me." Ivy rubbed her temples as she spoke she had a headache starting.

"Of course out of the five properties we bought and renovated three have sold and one is being rented out at an exorbitant price."

"Send me forty per cent of my money, you keep the rest and reinvest in more properties."

"You sure Ivy?"

"Im sure, when you sell the last house I will treat you to a meal and we can discuss more properties." Ivy still had her head back and her eyes closed.

Thomas watched through the wing mirror seeing Ivy rub her temples and crease her eyebrows.

"Okay, ring me. Okay bye." She hung up and threw her phone on the seat beside her.

Thomas and Nathan noticed that Ivy had fallen asleep in the backseat. Thomas dropped Nathan back at Hughes Investments with the contract and then he took out his phone and texted Noah.

(Ivy has had a long day taking her back home as she has fallen asleep, I noticed that she had a headache after her investment proposal)

Then Thomas drove back to Noahs Apartment. Driving in he saw Noah leaning against his Lincoln Navigator. He parked up beside the car and got out quietly.

He stood in front of the boss and started to report Ivy's day to him. After he was done Noah didn't say anything he just went towards his Bugatti Veyron and opened Ivys door quietly.

Seeing her curled up with her eyebrows furrowed Noah scowled and leant forward he picked her up slowly so as not to wake her up.

When she was in his arms she woke slightly but then curled in against his neck her breathing was slow and steady.

Noah carried her to the lift. Aiden and Thomas followed getting in the lift with both Noah and Ivy. Aiden them got the door for Noah and closed it behind them.

Noah carried his lover all the way to her bedroom, she must be exhausted to of not woken up. Noah placed her on their king-sized bed and took off her shoes, leather leggings and her turtle neck. He then noticed all the red marks he had left from the night before. Tempted to make more he walked to his closet grabbing one of his t-shirts and placing it over Ivys head as he helped her into it.

He covered her with a blanket then got undressed before crawling into bed beside her. She turned instantly and curled into his chest wrapping herself around him.

"Good night my love." He whispered to her.
