Cedric's driver was very much familiar with Adrianna's home, he had driven and even picked up his boss from there in the past. When he stopped outside the house Gracia Hernandez was shocked to see a white Rolls Royce pull up.

Adrianna got down, slammed the door, and kicked the car. ​​

Gracia was shocked by the scene.

"Adri, why were you in that car?" Gracia called after her daughter.

"Some asshole tried to play hero." Adrianna shouted and slammed the door to their room. She felt the need to wash every inch of her body. Mr. Reyes only picked her up and helped her, most women would be swooning at the thought, but Adrianna was disgusted.

Back in the Rolls Royce Ghost, Cedric watched Adrianna stomp away with Gracia chasing after her.

"Sir, Mia is on the phone for you." Ian handed his phone to Cedric.

"Sir I apologize for my inaction." Mia said on the other line.

"You did the right thing calling me. I wouldn't have wanted it to play any other way. There was nothing you could have done. What's important is that your mistress is safe." Cedric knew that if Mia had saved Adrianna it would have raised more questions.

Cedric dropped the call and handed it back to Ian.

Soon the five princes' chat was buzzing with life again.

Cedric closed his phone and ignored his friend's messages.

That night, when Cedric got home, he didn't ask Adrianna about what had happened. As a result Adrianna felt too ashamed to even talk to Cedric. Mr. Reyes was his boss and he carried her in a way someone other than Cedric shouldn't. Adrianna also felt guilty because when Mr. Reyes carried her, she felt safe and secure in his arms, the same way she felt when Cedric had carried her during his class reunion.

Adrianna slept with her back to Cedric that night. Cedric wanted so badly to reach out and hug her, he thought she was crying because of what the Hernandez's did to her. He knew Adrianna always placed family first. She never stood up against them because she was afraid of hurting their feelings or going too far. Cedric knew Adrianna's heart and family was always at the center of that.

The next day Adrianna was still quiet. At the table Gracia tried to ask her about the previous day, but she snapped at her mother and refused to talk about it. In their car as well the only answer Adrianna would give was a yes or a no.

After dropping Adrianna off at Island's Inc. and parking the car Cedric began walking to Mor Co.'s building. On the way Cedric's phone buzzed as he got a message.

Alexi Sebastian: The girls and I are gonna drop by your office today.

Cedric just ignored his friend's message and placed his phone back in his pocket. He just sighed at the thought of having to entertain the Sebastian siblings, he wasn't in an entertaining mood.

When Cedric arrived at the office he was faced with a person he did not want to see, Fredrik and Asia Hernandez.

"Cedric!" Asia waved. As much as Cedric wanted to ignore them, he knew that things would just get worse if he did.

"Uncle Fredrik, Asia." Cedric greeted.

"We're here to see your boss." Fredrik demanded.

"You don't have an appointment, goodbye" Cedric said flatly and walked off.

"Don't you dare walk away from us!" Asia shouted.

"Ma'am, sir, is this lowlife giving you any trouble?" It was Chris Garin. He grabbed Cedric by the collar and threw him at Fredrik's feet.

"Don't you know who they are, Assistant?" Chris Garin asked loudly. People had begun to gather around the scene.

"Don't you know our boss is smitten with their niece!" Chris shouted, spitting at Cedric.

"They don't have an appointment with him." Cedric repeated slowly.

"Adrianna will eventually leave you Cedric. You are nothing compared to the Reyes heir." Asia taunted.

"Asia, Adrianna and I are married, how can she marry someone else?" Cedric asked with no intention of answering Asia's question.

"You're insane. We will just say that during your annulment. Can you even afford a lawyer when that happens? You know the Hernandez family can afford the best lawyers." Asia called out.

"Adrianna will never agree." Cedric said.

"Adrianna always puts family first, she's just rebelling now, but Adrianna always does what the family wants." Fredrik said.

"Cedric, we will meet your boss, now." Fredrik demanded in a loud voice.

"You don't have an appointment." Cedric repeated.

"Pathetic." Chris picked Cedric up by the collar and was about to punch him when he was interrupted by a new arrival.

"What is going on here?" A young man and two girls strode in with what looked like a fleet of bodyguards.

"C-c-congressman Sebastian." Fredrik Hernandez managed to say.
