When Adrianna looked up from her phone she saw Lorisa De Jesus inside Anton's car.

"Lorisa, babe, calm down. Let's just go." Anton said in an attempt to avoid his wife from embarrassing him any further, but it was too late. Lorisa had gotten down from the car and walked up to Adrianna. ​​

"What the hell are you doing here? Don't you know this is an exclusive meeting? Are you someone's assistant?" Lorisa said pushing Adrianna.

Adrianna almost fell if it weren't for Mia being behind her. Mia was about to do something when Adrianna stopped her.

Before Adrianna could even say a word, Anton Cruz pulled his wife back and shoved her in the car.

"Mr. Laurence, I'm sorry about my wife. She just doesn't know how to control herself." Anton Cruz said apologetically to Ray.

"Hmph. She should know who she can afford to offend." Ayanna scoffed.

Thinking that Ayanna was warning about offending Ray or herself Anton continued to apologize until Ray told him to leave.

Due to the large security detail they had to bring along Adrianna, Ray, and Ayanna were left at the entrance after Mark Chu left.

"I didn't realize that he was Lorisa's husband." Adrianna said with a sigh.

"Who is that slut anyway? She looks like a social climber, did you see her clothes dripping with logos and that god awful jewelry!" Ayana complained.

Adrianna laughed. "Her name is Lorisa De Dios. She went to university with me and your brother. Her family isn't from money, they just recently stumbled upon a significant amount and she managed to go to our school. She's always been a social climber. You know she could have ended up as your sister in law." Adrianna explained with a tease.

"My brother has better taste than that!" Ayanna said with a disgusted look.

"She had a crush on him and was bitter when we started dating." Adrianna explained as her car pulled up.

"I'll be going straight home. I'll just see you there." Adrianna said with a smile as she got into her car and left.

Cedric was already home by the time Adrianna arrived.

"No overtime?" Adrianna asked her husband.

"Nope." Cedric said as he came up behind her and hugged her.

"Cedric, I just came from outside. I need to take a bath." Adrianna complained.

"I can give you a bath." Cedric teased as he kissed her neck.

"I woke up late this morning because of you!" Adrianna complained.

"You don't really need to work." Cedric told his wife.

"You can't be serious!" Adrianna scolded him.

"It's been two months." Cedric complained as he continued to kiss her from behind.

"No. It's been a little over twelve hours!" Adrianna said, correcting him.

"But I'm hungry." Cedric complained like a child.

"Then go to the kitchen and have the maid cook something. And don't eat too much, it'll ruin your appetite." Adrianna said feigning innocence

"That's not what I want to eat!" Cedric said as he lifted his wife and carried her into their bathroom.

What Adrianna had intended to be a quick bath ended up being a passionate moment between husband and wife. By the time they finished the parents were already at the dining table wondering what was taking the couple so long to go down.

When Adrianna and Cedric came down Ayanna and Ray also just arrived.

"Ah, how good it is to be young and so full of energy!" Emilio exclaimed seeing the two couples.

"Dad! Ray and I aren't really dating!" Ayanna complained. Unfortunately for her no one believed her since they all knew that she and Ray liked each other.

"Adrianna dear, your mom and I bought some tonics that should help you and Cedric conceive!" Priscilla said handing Adrianna a paper bag of bottles. "Although seeing as how often you guys do it, I'm not sure you need this."

Adrianna was at a loss for words and could do nothing but blush.

"Hurry up you two, I want to have a little niece or nephew to play with and to spoil!" Ayanna teased.

"Why don't you make one yourself?" Cedric teased back as he helped his wife to her seat.

"I'm- We're not married!" Ayanna finally managed to answer.

"Many couples have kids out of wedlock now. And if marriage is an issue, you and Ray could head off to a government office anytime and have your marriage done. The church wedding can just follow." Cedric said with a grin. Check and mate! He said in his head as he backed his sister into an imaginary corner.

"You're annoying and I'm hungry. Come on Ray. Let's eat." Ayanna said as she sat at the dining table.

During the whole exchange the normally lively Ray did not manage to get a word in, something Cedric would tease him about later on in the night.

"Guess who I saw today?" Adrianna told Cedric as they ate.

"Mmmm?" Cedric mumbled.

"Lorisa De Dios. Apparently her husband's company will be working on Ray's project with the Chus as well." Adrianna said.

"Ray, deal with it." Cedric said without lifting his head.

"No. I can do this. You promised not to interfere!" Adrianna said, scolding her husband.

"Don't worry Adrianna, Cedric will stick to his promise." Priscilla said as she gave a warning look at her son.

"Okay, I won't." Cedric said, raising his hands in surrender. "Had I known you would gang up on me like this I wouldn't have invited you all to live here!"

Everyone laughed at Cedric's complaint.

The next day Adrianna woke up refreshed. She had been so exhausted because of Cedric that once dinner was done she immediately fell asleep.

She checked her schedule and saw that the next few weeks would mostly be meeting with Anton Cruz's company. She let out a sigh, things would be so much easier if she would let Cedric interfere.
