Since it was the middle of the day, all of their parents were not at home. Emilio Reyes was at R Tower, Charles Hernadez was at the University for a lecture, while Priscilla Reyes had dragged Gracia Hernandez to accompany her on a work trip. So the Mountain View mansion was empty, Cedric invited Tony to the study as Tony looked around in awe of the house.

"I figured either you posed as the Reyes Heir's body double or you were him." Tony said as he took a seat. ​​

Adrianna came in after them as she had given instructions to the help to send in tea, coffee, and some snacks.

"So our wedding rings gave it away?" Adrianna asked.

"To the untrained eye, those rings look as common as any other wedding ring, but to me, I clearly know what makes them different." Tony explained.

"Now that you know who I am, I expect you want something." Cedric said without beating around the bush. The moment they stepped into the study Cedric had taken on his frigid

persona as the Reyes Heir.

"Just a project or two. I know you as Cedric, not the Reyes Heir. I honestly prefer Cedric over this cold and scary guy you are now." Tony said, as he had no reason to hide that he wanted something in return for knowing the truth and being a friend to the couple. "Is Cedric really like this? How can you stand it?" Tony asked Adrianna.

"Nah. His real personality is as Cedric, not this one." Adrianna said with a smile as she went over to hug her husband. She wasn't ashamed to show affection in front of Tony, the man had after all shown them kindness in the past and was somewhat familiar with the couple.

Adrianna's hug seemed to thaw Cedric's frosty persona as his straight face turned into a happier one.

"The two projects will not be a problem. I'll see if I can get you anymore. I think there is something with Mor Co. that we can set up, since Mor Co. may need some of the metals your family mines." Cedric told Tony.

"I guess knowing the Reyes Heir has its perks." Tony said with a nervous laugh. Despite being the one that asked for the projects he still didn't know if Cedric would actually come after him since he knew who he actually was.

"Relax, as long as you don't tell people who I actually am, I won't do anything to you. And as long as we are on good terms, if you need anything, you can come to me." Cedric said in a friendlier tone. At that Tony visibly relaxed.

A maid knocked and announced that Ram had just arrived.

Cedric told the maid to bring Ram into the study.

When Ram came in he was surprised to see Tony Tamano sitting with the couple.

"You're familiar." He quickly told Tony.

"Yes. I embarrassed myself in the Bamboo Room before Christmas. I think you were having dinner with Mr. Laurence. I even assumed that Miss Nicole Chan was some low born woman trying to get in with you guys." Tony said, admitting to his blunder.

"Ah yes." Ram said with a thoughtful nod. "How'd he find out?" Ram asked Cedric as he pointed at the innocent Tony.

"He supplies the rings to Lau Jewelries. Ray gave me and Adrianna a pair of one of a kind rings, he saw the photos online and put two and two together." Cedric briefly explained.

"See I'm the better friend. I do things to keep your secret, a secret." Ram said, praising himself.

Adrianna felt awkward since only a few hours ago she was with a crying Veronica who was furious at her family.

"Tony, this is Ramon Abad, he currently manages his family's businesses Abad TV Network and Lights Entertainment, among others." Cedric said as he introduced Ram to Tony.

"Ram this is Tony Tamano, he's from one of the northern provinces, I think they run a mine and some raw material sourcing." Cedric said, he was honestly not so sure what kind of businesses the Taman family was involved in.

Ram nodded to acknowledge Tony and Tony could only nod in return, among giants like this he was like a fly on the wall.

"What did you come over for? Doesn't Eric keep Lights busy enough?" Cedric asked Ram.

"I've come to personally deliver the 30 women under 30 article to Adrianna and you. I have both the printed magazine and the recording that will air in a while. Do you want to watch?" Ram asked as he waved a flashdrive at them.

"I'll take the magazine and we can watch it on TV later tonight with the parents. What do you think, Adrianna?" Cedric said as he pulled his wife on his lap

"Seriously Cedric? Get a hold of yourself." Ram teased as he rolled his eyes at the couple.

Cedric just laughed at Ram as his friend handed over the magazine.

"Cedric, behave!" Adrianna scolded as she struggled to get up.

"I hope when I do get married I fall as hard as Cedric did for you." Ram told Adrianna with a wink. "Adri did well. She's actually ranked number eight. That's amazing for a newcomer." Ram complemented.

"Oh, who's ranked one?" Adrianna asked as she grabbed the magazine from Cedric.

"I swear I did not make that list." Ram said, raising his hands.

"Wow. Veronica is ranked number one! That's amazing." Adrianna said as she skimmed through the pages.

"Ayanna actually ranked lower this year." Cedric said as he caught a peak at the pages.

"Yeah. I think it's the whole going off to study part. Of course this is all prior to the dating Ray part, I'd expect that after that she might overtake Katerina again." Ram said with a shrug.

Adrianna took the magazine and sat next to Tony Tamano, something Cedric wasn't too happy about but he chose not to react.

"Tony, look. I made it! I think it's only proper to show you since you were with us when I got the call." Adrianna said as she handed over the magazine to Tony.

After chatting for a little, Tony said his goodbyes to the couple and to Ram. Cedric told Tony to contact Camilla so that they could talk about which projects Tony would be able to take part of.

"I'll rest for a while. Call me when it's time for dinner." Adrianna said goodbye to Cedric and Ram.
