Due to her sensitive condition Adrianna chose to stay home for a month, all her meetings were conducted virtually and luckily no other mishaps happened with their project. Before her bed rest was over Prisiclla Reyes and Gracia Hernandez decided to shop up a storm for Adrianna.

They filled her closet with maternity clothes and loose fitting clothing. Adrianna could do nothing but sigh when the maids took out her never worn clothes and moved them to a storage room. ​​

With Doctor Santos' clearance Adrianna finally went to the office a month after finding out that she was pregnant. When she arrived at Island's Inc. she was greeted by Henry and Margaret Hernandez who were both excited for her return.

"Cousin! Why wouldn't you let us visit?" Margaret asked with a pout.

"The doctor said I should not receive guests. I'm sorry Margaret." Adrianna said to her younger cousin.

"Why don't we all go out for lunch instead? I have a friend who can pull some strings for us at Bamboo Room. This is something we should be celebrating." Henry told Adrianna.

"Sure! But won't Uncle Matthew mind? I've just come back and we'll be going out of the city for lunch." Adrianna asked.

"Nope. Dad's so happy with the partnership that the Chus gave us that he would more than happily let us go." Margaret said with a smile.

"Alright. Hey Henry, how are you holding up?" Adrianna asked her cousin. It had also been a month since his father and older brother were sent to prison. Luckily due to his own skill, Island's Inc. needed a designer of his caliber to stay, unlike Asia who had been sent away.

"It's odd at home without Asia around. Mom's always sad, but I'm doing great. I don't know why, but it doesn't bother me that my brother and father were sent to jail for being bad people." Henry confessed to Adrianna.

"If you need anything, tell me." Adrianna told Henry with a gentle smile.

With that the cousins went back to their own offices to deal with work.

On her first day back Uncle Matthew visited Adrianna in her office.

"Adrianna! Welcome back. Don't stand, you're pregnant." Uncle Matthew greeted. "Congratulations."

"Thank you Uncle Matthew. What can I do for you?" Adrianna asked.

"I know you just got back, but there is a party tonight. It's going to be hosted by Edward Chu to celebrate the completion of the project and he will be inviting Raymund Laurence." Uncle Matthew told Adrianna.

"It's okay. I can go. Can Cedric accompany me?" Adrianna asked.

"Yes, of course." Uncle Matthew said.

With that he left Adrianna to her work. Adrianna sent Cedric a quick message telling him about the party that night then focused on her work. Despite working from home, there were many things that still needed Adrianna's attention, her morning was filled with meetings and people coming in and out of her office.

Before she knew it, it was lunch and Margaret was already calling for her to come down.

"Mia, I'm having lunch with my cousins. Can you make sure I have no meetings till 4pm this afternoon?" Adrianna asked Mia who quickly jotted down notes.

"Yes Madam. Mr. Reyes said not to leave you without a security detail. I'll have my team follow you. Where will you be having lunch madam?" Mia asked.

"Oh, at the Bamboo Room." Adrianna said.

"Very well madam. I'll speak to the Laurence family security to ensure there are enough guards inside that remain undercover." Mia informed Adrianna.

"Isn't that too much Mia?" Adrianna asked.

"Your husband was very specific with his instructions madam." Mia told Adrianna.

"I guess it's for the best." Adrianna sighed as she left.

When Adrianna, Henry, and Margaret arrived at Bamboo Room, a handsome young man dressed as a waiter approached them.

"Hey Henry. Sorry, I couldn't get you a better table, it's this way." The man said as he led them to a table next to a wall but quite far away from the famous glass windows at Bamboo Room.

"It's okay Daniel, we're here for the food not the view." Henry said with a smile.

Daniel smiled back and left to get back to work.

"Is he? Are you?" Margaret asked, surprised.

"We've been dating. But as you know, I'm not even sure if I like guys or girls." Henry explained.

"Twenty nine and still unsure. Tsk, tsk, tsk." Margaret said, shaking her head.

"Stop teasing Henry about it. It's his choice." Adrianna scolded Margaret.

"Fine. It's amazing though that you could get us a table here! I heard that Bamboo Room has a two month wait period to get a table." Margaret said as she looked around.

"It's your first time here?" Adrianna asked Margaret.

"Yup. I never really got too many fancy things growing up. Even my friends are just normal. Dad was never supposed to be in the position he's in." Margaret said.

"My spoiled sister would never get used to being an ordinary person." Henry said as he rolled his eyes. He never truly liked his younger sister Asia.

"The only way Asia's appetite for power, fame, and riches would be satisfied is if she married into the Reyes family or became a mistress." Margaret said with a giggle.

"Adrianna has a higher chance of being the Reyes Heir's mistress than she does!" Henry teased.

"But Adri, did you really not consider being with the Reyes Heir?" Margaret probed.

Adrianna wanted to laugh at how silly the thought was, Cedric and the Reyes Heir were the same person. They wanted her to be with Cedric.

"You know what I had to go through just to be with Cedric, do you really think I would cheat?" Adrianna asked her cousin.

"Oh, yeah. That's true. But Adri, I really think you deserve someone like the Reyes Heir. Cedric isn't bad, but you were born for luxury, not for a man that depends on you." Margaret complained.

"Margaret! Don't push it. Adri is happy and expecting a baby. We should just be happy for her too." Henry said with a gentle smile.

"Well if i ever had the chance to be with the Reyes Heir, I would take it!" Margaret said proudly.

"Margaret, he's already married!" Adrianna scolded. She found it weird that her cousin was lusting after her husband.

"It's normal for men like him to have mistresses." Margaret casually said.

"Even if he had a mistress I don't think it would be you." Henry teased.

"Speaking of marrying rich, how's Asia? Has Mark even spoken to her since they got married?" Adrianna asked in an attempt to change the topic.

"They sleep in separate rooms and she barely sees him. Obviously the Chus are only putting up with her because of the child. Add to that Mark's blunder, now Asia thinks that Mark has another woman on the side." Henry told his cousins.

"He probably does. Rich second generation heir, he has throngs of women chasing after him. Asia was just a business move at best, her value has gone down since, you know, Uncle Fredrik and John." Margaret said.

"How are they, have you visited them?" Adrianna asked Henry.

"Dad and my older brother? Nope. We aren't allowed to, there are stronger forces playing with their incarceration. I mean, it was Katerina Sebastian that filed a case against them, I think it's related to the time they went over to Mor Co." Henry explained.

"What happened?" Adrianna asked.
