"We need to create a rift between them." Ayanna said in a determined tone.

Hearing what Selina and Francesca each had to suffer through made Cedric's younger sister more determined than ever to take down Lucius Ting.

"I honestly have no idea how we would do that, we need to know more about their relationship as siblings." Cedric said, scratching his chin as he thought of their next steps.

"Cedric, I think it's time." Miguel said with a serious look on his face.

"Time for what?" Eric asked his brother with a raised eyebrow. "Have you guys been plotting behind our backs?" Eric asked.

"We've been discussing what would be the most drastic measures we need to take in order to either take down or slow down Lucius Ting's momentum." Miguel said with a shrug.

"We knew your grandfather would not consent to a DNA test in private, so we discussed a deadline." Cedric explained to Eric. "If by a certain event we couldn't find the real child of Uncle Miguel, then we would have to publicly demand for a DNA test."

"And you didn't care to share this plan with us, brother?" Eric asked, clearly pissed off the Cedric and Miguel had agreed on a plan without him or Nicole.

"I would have told you, or at least suggested it, the event we are talking about is quite a while away." Miguel said as he tried to defend his and Cedric's reasons.

"And what event is this?" Nicole asked Miguel and Cedric.

"The Reyes Group Annual Founding party." Cedric explained. "We will be celebrating the 200th anniversary in 6 months. We agreed that if we didn't get some real results before then we would demand for Lucius to take a DNA test."

"Grandpa would have to go." Miguel added as his sister's icy glare thawed. "It will be the largest event this year, he won't miss it."

"And you think that if you demanded a DNA test publicly, he would have to give it." Eric said, finishing what his brother was trying to explain to the group.

"Yes and no." Miguel said with a sly smile. "I don't have any right to demand for a DNA test, he is no threat to me making it seem like I was being used. There are only three people with the right to ask for that."

"Dad, me, or Eric." Nicole said as she realized who her brother meant.

"Right, as the current head of the family, dad can ask for it, but for some reason I can't understand, he refuses to do so." Miguel explained, shaking his head.

"As the appointed heir you have every right, especially if he is a threat to your position." Miguel explained to his sister. "And of course, Eric is the heir by birthright and he can ask that."

"I can't ask because I won't be at the event as your brother." Eric said slowly with a frown. It always made him sad that the public had no idea about who his family actually were. It was a blessing and a curse.

"So you want me to demand it at the party?" Nicole asked.

"Yep." Miguel said with a nod.

"This is honestly the easiest and most obvious way." Cedric informed the others. "That's the very reason why I was so hesitant to take it, because Lucius will see it coming and he will have planned for it."

"How can you cheat a DNA test?" Ayanna asked, making everyone laugh.

"You know darling, you are smart, but sometimes you also forget things." Ray said as he pulled Ayanna onto his lap and kissed her.

"I'm serious." Ayanna groaned as she swatted her husband away.

"I am too." Ray groaned as he was forced to place her back down on the seat as an elbow hit him on the chest.

"I'm not dumb, I know you can switch out the DNA, but if you conduct the test yourself and have someone watch the specimen the whole time there is no way for him to cheat." Ayanna said as she explained her concern.

"I doubt he will agree to allow anyone from Saints Hospital to conduct the test." Nicole said, shaking her head.

"He won't let anyone from the government touch it either." Eric said as he scratched his chin thinking of what could potentially happen.

"Of course not, especially with the Sebastians in power, he will claim we swapped the samples." Miguel said, shaking his head.

"He will definitely demand for an independent group to do the test. Someone neither of you would have connections to." Cedric explained as he shared his thoughts.

"He would either swap the samples or bribe the people doing the tests." Adrianna added as she thought of how Lucius Ting would cheat a DNA test.

"And what if he can't do it through those methods?" Veronica asked.

"I'm guessing he would then find a way for the lab results to be inconclusive, contaminating the specimens or damaging them." Cedric answered.

"There isn't much he can do prior to the test, so he might also try cutting off the power to the lab or destroying the machines." Ayanna added, she didn't seem so confused or lost now, making Cedric smile a little.

"There are just too many possibilities and variables, this isn't something I want to do, but we may have to do it." Cedric siad with a sigh.

"This plan is still six months away, what should we do till then?" Ian asked.

Cedric paused as he looked around the room considering what they already knew and how they could move forward with that information.

As Cedric thought of a plan, he could see his friends trying to come up with suggestions as well.

"Try to find out how Louisse's and Lucius' relationship is as siblings." Ayanna suddenly said, looking up at Camilla and Benedict on the big screen.

"And use that information to break their relationship." Cedric said with a nod as he looked at his sister.

"It could work." Camilla said slowly as she thought of the implications.

"We both know one of the biggest things they've fought about is you, Camilla." Benedict said with a nod. "Keep playing house with Lucius and Louisse will definitely keep on fighting with her brother about you."

"And I'll ask Lucius what I can about his relationship with Louisse." Camilla said with a nod. "He'll think I'm trying to get her approval."

"When we do have enough information, let's try to break that relationship." Miguel said in a serious tone as he smiled, knowing they had a plan set in place.
