Cleese frowned in anger, her eyes almost popping out of their sockets.
At this moment, Edna, who was standing at the stairs, called out to her grandfather. Julie immediately smiled and turned to face Gail Dunbar, who was walking down the stairs. "Dad, you're up? Breakfast is ready."
Gail Dunbar looked at Julie and said angrily, "It's so early in the morning, why are you making so much noise?"
Julie immediately nodded and bowed. "Yes, it's our fault. Please have your meal first."
Gail Dunbar, who had never liked his daughter-in-law, glared at her fiercely and turned around to go to the dining area.
Thinking of how she was willing to work hard in this family, and how she was scolded because of Lydia, Julie walked up to Lydia full of rage and raised her hand to slap Lydia.
A red handprint immediately appeared on Lydia's fair skin.
She had learned martial arts since she was young and could predict the other party's movements. She knew that Julie was going to hit her, but she did not dodge.
This was not the first time she got slapped. The previous time, Julie had chased her all the way to school for a small matter and had hit her in front of countless people, she did not dodge on that occasion either.
It was because she did not have the ability to dodge, but that she was returning the so-called favor of her mum giving birth to her.
She did not want to owe Julie anything, and even more so, she did not want to retain the wish of praying for her mother's love just because she had given birth to her.

Edna was not convinced and scolded her. "What do you mean by 'come back less'? Don't let me ever see her again in the future. We should be ashamed of a poor relative like you!"
Lydia had no intention of going back. This was not her home at all.
Four years ago, Julie did not want to accept her at all. It was because of her grandmother who knelt in front of Julie and begged her. She reluctantly agreed.
Lydia did not know about this. Once, she was working in a restaurant and met Edna. When Edna threw a cup of coffee at her head, she merely sneered at her.
That night, she was fired by the restaurant owner who had just praised her the day before. Needless to say, it was her half-sister Edna who had behind it.
She had never done anything to undermine the Dunbar Family, and the Dunbar Family had no idea she was Julie's daughter. The way they treated her was just like the rich teasing the poor to satisfy their vulgar desires.
Lydia thought if she worked hard and listened to them, that perhaps Julie would start to like her.
She had endured their nonsense for a long time, thinking that Julie would start to treat her better, but her expectations eventually died down.
She could not endure it anymore.
Lydia got off the car at Eastlight Neighborhood, where she had rented a place long ago. She had never thought of staying at the Dunbar Residence from the beginning.
After settling back down, Lydia had a good sleep. The next morning, she got up early and put on a delicate make-up. She chose a waist-length dress that best showed her curves.

In the afternoon, she had an interview with Feiyan Group, a famous celebrity agency. As long as she could get into Feiyan, her future would be a lot brighter.
Just as she was about to go out, Julie sent her a message, asking her to go back for dinner in the evening.
Lydia was shocked. How could Julie still have the face to ask her to go back? Has she forgotten what happened yesterday?
Lydia ignored her and brought her things to Feiyan.
The interview hall was on the corner of the second floor. As soon as she entered the door, she found that there were at least a hundred people interviewing that day.
Sitting in the first row were personnel from Feiyan, popular actors, agents, and interviewers for today. Lydia counted about twelve of them.
She quickly found a seat and sat down. Next to her was a round-faced little girl. She took a deep breath and asked Lydia in a low voice if she was nervous.
Lydia thought that she was very cute. "I think you'll definitely be chosen. You're too cute."
The little girl was extremely happy. "My name is Lucia."
"Lydia. Nice to meet you."
The interview soon began. The first person to perform on stage was called off 20 seconds into the interview. He was then told to go back and wait for further notice.
The atmosphere was tense.
