The Rolls-Royce Phantom had stopped and Gu Mohan entered the campus in search of An’an. Yan Dong was stationed outside and he noticed a petite figure walking over. It was Tang Mo’er.

He looked at her apologetically and bowed his head. “Miss Tang, I’m sorry.”

Tang Mo’er looked around but Gu Mohan was nowhere to be seen. She shook her head. “Yan Dong, there’s no need for you to apologize. I understand that you’re just doing your job.”

“Miss Tang, Old Master had orders for us to wipe your past with President clean. With Old Master instigating this, no one dares to talk about your past with President.”

Tang Mo’er gave a wry smile. So her guesses were correct. The Gu family was powerful and dominated the entire Capital. Not forgetting Gu Mohan’s newly built business empire, they’d multiplied their influence and nobody would dare to act against them.

“I don’t actually care about Old Master Gu, isn’t Gu Mohan of the most importance now? With Gu Mohan’s present achievements, he no longer has to submit to Old Master Gu. “Miss Tang, I don’t know whether President loves Jun Xiyan, but I know for a fact that Jun Xiyan was picked out by President as his bride-to-be. She will be the young madam of the Gu family and the one who will support him through everything. Jun Xiyan is from an established family and a legitimate, well-raised lady. Once President sets his mind on her, he will treat her wholeheartedly.”

Tang Mo’er recalled Jun Xiyan’s winsome figure. Gu Mohan indeed had good taste in women.

Jun Xiyan had poise and grace, a counterfeit like Lu Qi’er could never compare with her.

Yan Dong watched her dejected demeanor before recalling something. “Miss Tang, President actually asked for me to do something before he was injected with the Love Poison.”

“President asked for me to register his marriage with you. He wanted you to become his legally recognized wife.”

Tang Mo’er’s eyes lit up and shone. Mr Gu wanted to register their marriage and collect their marriage certificate?

She really was fine. It had taken time, but she had finally forgotten about that man and returned to the Gu family, even attending college.

She had completely erased Lu Yan from her life and started afresh.

“An’an, I’m happy to know that you’re doing well. You look really good now.”

Her line of vision was blocked. Gu Mohan had walked in front and seeing Tang Mo’er holding An’an’s hand, he asked, “An’an, the two of you are acquainted?”

An’an quickly pushed Tang Mo’er forward. “Brother, she is little sister-in-law.”

Tang Mo’er was caught off guard and her body fell right into Gu Mohan’s chest after being pushed by An’an. His masculine, clean scent invaded her senses.

She lifted her eyes and Gu Mohan’s face was right in front of her. He was so close…

Tang Mo’er’s luminous eyes shifted around and she stared at him before speaking up, “Hello, Mr Gu.”

Gu Mohan knew who Tang Mo’er was. She had appeared at his engagement ceremony and openly confessed her love for him.

He couldn’t figure out whether it was his good memory or whether it was for other reasons, but he could recognize her at first glance.

They were so close together and he could smell the natural, maidenly scent she had emanated.

He quickly took two steps away from her and stood beside An’an. “An’an, what little sister-in-law are you talking about? You’re not allowed to joke around like that.”

Since he was An’an’s older brother, didn’t the title of ‘little sister-in-law’ make Tang Mo’er his wife?

He wasn’t married yet. And he most definitely wasn’t in any sort of relationship with this Tang Mo’er.

“Brother, Mo’er is my little sister-in-law. Little sister-in-law is going to be Mo’er…”

Gu Mohan knit his brows, his deep voice stern as he chided her, “An’an, my fiancée is Jun Xiyan. When we get married, your sister-in-law will be Xiyan. Do you understand what I’m saying?”

“An’an,” Tang Mo’er walked over, holding An’an’s dainty hands. “It’s okay, you don’t need to say anything else.”

Turning to face the imposing man Tang Mo’er stated with overwhelming confidence, “Mr Gu, you won’t marry Jun Xiyan. You are my man. I’ll give my all into getting into your heart, dating you, getting intimate with you and eventually, marrying you. Just wait and see!”
