Chapter 744: How Dare You Make Me a Cuckold

Gu Mohan then asked, “What about you? Are you the one sponsoring her or is it the other way round?”

The man on the phone laughed. “Me? I’m Little Momo’s fiancé.”

Little Momo’s fiancé?

The word ‘fiancé’ seared into Gu Mohan’s mind, his eyes instantly reddened and he ended the call abruptly. He lowered his eyes to look at the woman in his arms.

“You have a fiancé?” He asked, enunciating every word clearly.

Tang Mo’er batted her eyelashes before hearing his question and she nodded. “Yes.”

Once she answered him, Gu Mohan’s breathing sunk into nothingness. He tightened his grip over her waist. “F*ck, Tang Mo’er, how dare you make me a cuckold?”

The man gritted his teeth angrily, his entire countenance spelled danger. The beast inside him roared in righteous vengeance. If he stayed, he might just kill her at that moment.

One couldn’t help but feel intimidated by him and Tang Mo’er was no exception. She stretched out her arms, pushing him away while she knitted her brows. “What cuckold? President Gu, we’re not related in any sort of way, what do you mean by ‘cuckold’?”

Gu Mohan was pushed away by her, he took a few steps back before he shot a baleful glance in her direction. Lifting his leg, he gave a forceful kick to the chair beside Tang Mo’er.

Bang, the chair fell onto the carpeted ground and it smashed into useless pieces of wood. He must have used a great amount of force, he was seething with so much anger inside of him.

Gu Mohan stood with his arms on his hips, licking the chapped areas of his lips as he tried hard to suppress his anger. She was f*cking with him, their marriage certificate was still with him, so she was still his Mrs Gu!

She had actually found another man after they’d been apart for the past three years.

Ha, haha, it was simply ridiculous.

He stretched out one finger, pointing at her. He was afraid that he would just lose his rationality and do something to hurt her and so he took a few deep breaths. “Tang Mo’er, how dare you, you’re truly brazen! You’d better wait and watch, I’d never let you two off. I’ll make sure to ruin you two, an adulterous pair!”

He enunciated the two words ‘adulterous pair’ clearly, before storming out of the apartment.

He had left.

He had left after threatening her with a menacing aura.

He must be crazy, who was he to even scold her?

A melodious ringtone sounded, she had an incoming phone call.

She clutched her cell phone and answered the call, “Hello.”

“Little Momo, you’re done taking a shower?”

Hearing his devilishly charming voice, Tang Mo’er instantly face palmed herself. “Feng Lihen, you better make yourself clear!”

“Darling, you’re done taking a shower?” He merely changed the way he addressed her.

Tang Mo’er was left speechless.

“Little Momo, you’ve been gone for so long, how are you doing? Did anyone bully you? Rest assured, I’ll be there to protect you in no time.”

“Are you done?” Tang Mo’er asked.

“Not y—”

Throwing her cell phone on the bed, she leaned back onto the bed. As she fluttered her eyelashes, she looked up at the chandelier above her, eyes unfocused as she went into a daze.

Her mind was filled with Gu Mohan’s raging from moments earlier, he even threatened to ruin her.

Why was he being so ludicrous and childish? They barely knew one another.

The next day, on set.

Tang Mo’er was looking through her script when she suddenly heard a commotion. “Look who’s here?”

“Who is it?”

“Asa!”

Once that name was announced, the entire crew started to turn chaotic. Oh god, it’s Asa!

Asa was a superstar widely known in the entertainment industry. He had a devilishly charming face and had experienced a surge of popularity once he made his debut. He had become one of the top stars in no time.

As long as he made an appearance, there wouldn’t be a lack of traffic and attention.

Who would have expected Asa to suddenly arrive on the set of ‘The Concubine’.

Bai Feifei’s eyes instantly lit up, she was shocked. “Why is Asa here?”

“Feifei, is Asa here for a cameo? It would be great if you could act alongside him!” Bai Feifei’s manager said.

Bai Feifei had that exact intention on her mind, Tang Mo’er had stolen all of the limelight and if she were to act alongside Asa, she would have the opportunity to take the limelight once again.

Haining then walked over. “Everyone please quieten down. We’ve had the honor to invite Asa to make an appearance in ‘The Concubine’, he’ll be arriving soon.”

The entire crew crowded together again, everyone’s face filled with excitement. ‘The Concubine’s’ premier received more than 2 billion views and with Asa’s appearance, it was bound to break all records. Everyone was delighted and the set was buzzing with excitement.

“Director Haining, which role is Asa going to be playing?”

“Director Haining, is Asa going to acting alongside Feifei? After all, Feifei is the female lead of ‘The Concubine’.”

Everyone had assumed that Asa was going to act alongside with Bai Feifei and Bai Feifei was naturally pleased as she had received everyone’s ingratiation. She raised the corners of her lips smugly as she glanced over at Tang Mo’er.

Tang Mo’er hadn’t joined the crowd, she merely sat in a corner and studied her script. Her features remained impassive.

Bai Feifei couldn’t help herself but to start being sarcastic. “Tang Mo’er, who’s going to play the role of Jian Yuheng? Popular star Asa is here, but it’s such a shame, he’s not going to play the role of Jian Yuheng, who has a sex scene with you. He’s here to act alongside me.”

Tang Mo’er lifted her eyes, giving Bai Feifei a cold glance. “I’ll congratulate you then, I hope that you’ll be happy working with Asa.”

Hearing the flippant words, Bai Feifei’s face morphed into a fierce one, she felt as though she had sent a punch into a bed of cotton wool, she hadn’t made any impact at all.

This Tang Mo’er wasn’t bothered about her, she was almost condescending.

A wave of screams were heard, it turns out many fans had rushed into the place and it was instantly overcrowded.

Asa’s skin was very fair and his devilishly charming facial features were even more beautiful than a woman’s. He had a face that would invite jealousy from both deities and humans.

Haining quickly stepped forward to greet him, “Welcome, Asa.”

Bai Feifei also ran forward, stretching her hand out. “Hello, Asa.”

Asa removed his sunglasses and he had a pair of charming eyes, his entire countenance charismatic and attractive. He didn’t even cast a glance at Bai Feifei, his gaze shifting into the corner where Tang Mo’er was seated with her script.

Seeing the woman seated in a chair while looking through her script, Asa instantly lifted the corner of his lips. “Little Momo, turn your head around. Look who’s here?”

When Tang Mo’er heard that familiar voice of his, she instantly rolled her eyes. Feng Lihen?

Feng Lihen had made his way here!

She got up, looking at Feng Lihen with her lustrous eyes.

Feng Lihen strode over, stretching his arms out to hug Tang Mo’er. “Little Momo, did you miss me? I’ve missed you so much!”
