I had to fly over from Mexico all by myself and now that I’ve severed all ties with this rascal, I don’t have a cent on me and have nowhere to stay. With one arm, he hugged the two of them. He had one muscular arm around her while holding her into his warm embrace, she could take in his clean, masculine scent.

His cheek was right beside her lips when he kissed Little Lemon, her lips were about to touch him.

Fu Qinglun planted a kiss on Little Lemon’s forehead and with an affectionate voice, he said, “Don’t be afraid, Papa’s here, no one can ever bully Little Lemon, and no one can ever bully Mama. Papa will protect you both.”

Seeing her, Fu Qinglun smiled, using a soft volume that only the three of them could hear, and he continued. “You and Mama are Papa’s darlings, Papa loves you both.”

Little Lemon’s eyes lit up.

Hearing him, Lin Shiyu felt uneasy, she could tell that he was doing it on purpose, saying all of those words for her to overhear.

He said he would protect her.

He said she was his darling.

He said he loved her.

Every word of his sounded like a loving confession, but she had no chance of refuting, since Little Lemon was still present. Lin Shiyu fluttered her long lashes, her face flushing. Finally, the invasive manly scent was finally gone, and he slowly got out of the car.
