In the room, once Huo Yanmei had left, An’an slowly let go of the doorknob. The bathroom door was opened, Lu Yan’s somber face appeared before her eyes.

Lu Yan looked at her, her face had already turned half swollen after suffering the blow from Huo Yanmei. There was an obvious handprint on her face.

He stretched out his large palm, wanting to caress her face.

But An’an avoided him, not letting him touch her.

“Get someone to find it for me.”

An’an looked at his amputated leg, the excess material was cut away by the doctor during the bandaging and it was only then she confirmed he was really disabled. “Go look for it yourself if you want it so much.”

His stomach suddenly growled. He hadn’t had anything to eat for the entire night, he was hungry.

“Prepare some food for me,” he said.

“There’s nothing to eat here.”

Lu Yan knitted his brows, cursing, “You’re blatantly lying, I saw you eating steak earlier on!”

He instantly regretted saying that as An’an fixed her gaze on him. “What else did you see?”

“I saw you adding Li Junxun on some WeChat.”

He hadn’t used Wechat before and had no idea what WeChat was.

An’an’s cold countenance instantly turned more warm and gentle. “Uncle Lu, you can add me too. My WeChat username is The User Is Typing…”

Since she wasn’t going to give him any food, Lu Yan turned to ask, “Prepare a new set of clothes for me, I want to take a shower.”

Lu Yan took off his pants and stood under the shower head. He didn’t let the water drip on his body directly, but rather, took a wet towel and wiped his body.

His leg was bleeding and his entire body reeked of blood, he wouldn’t be able to sleep if he didn’t wipe himself clean.

He had no clothes and could only take a towel and wrap it around his waist, before proceeding to wash his own underwear in front of the bathroom counter. If he washed and hung it to dry tonight, he would be able to wear it tomorrow.

The bathroom door was opened and a lithe figure appeared beside the door.

An’an just stood there, watching Lu Yan wash his own underwear.
